Embedding is one of the remarkable Arabic rhetoric methods. It contains brevity and abbreviation, and various rhetorical secrets such as exaggeration, denigration, expanding meanings, etc. Many commentators and scholars have been concerned with demonstrating The Noble Qur’an\u27s illustrative and rhetorical miracle, and one of the most important interpretations concerned with this aspect is Al-Kashshaf’s interpretation by Al-Zamakhshari. Objective: This research aimed to study different implications mentioned by Al-Zamakhshari in the interpretation of Surat Al-Baqarah in his book. In addition, the study aimed to clarify his rhetorical and devise approach. Methodology: The researchers adopted the inductive, then descriptive and analytical approach. Conclusions: In this study, the researchers concluded that Al-Zamakhshari demonstrated in some places the aspects of rhetoric therein, and summarized others in interpreting the verses of Surat Al-Baqarah. Moreover, he inferred the validity of his preference based on the context of the verses and the opinion of well-known grammarians. Recommendations: The researchers recommended and concluded that there is a need for a more comprehensive study to illustrate the embedded strategy which is adopted by Al-Zamakhshari. Bolstering the Startup Sector in Palestine and its Potential Impact on Public Finance

Objective: This study aimed to analyze of the ecosystem surrounding startups in Palestine in general, with a particular focus on public finance; specifically, how public authorities can enhance the regulatory framework and adopt incentive policies for startups and entrepreneurship to create a positive long-term impact on both the overall economy and public finance. Methodology: The study\u27s methodology primarily involved conducting in-depth interviews with a sample of all stakeholders related to the Palestinian startup ecosystem. This included government entities, relevant public bodies, startups, entrepreneurs, accelerators, incubators, venture capital funds, universities, innovation centers, and legal entities. Results: The study reached several important findings and conclusions. Despite some limited success stories in the field of startups, the absence of an effective ecosystem, and operating in a complex environment surrounded by numerous political, economic, and social challenges, have negatively affected the growth and development of startups and the local economy. From a public finance perspective, the study found that the impact of government financial and tax incentives for startups cannot be evaluated solely in the short term. Doing so would yield misleading results and discourage governmental efforts and endeavors to support this important sector, especially considering the successive financial crises the government faces due to the Israeli occupation. Conclusion and Recommendations: Therefore, there was a consensus on the necessity of a complete income tax exemption for startups during the first five years of the project’s lifespan, like practices in many other countries. This measure is expected to result in a clear and rapid increase in the number of startups, an increase in their workforce, and enhanced capacity to expand and open new domestic and international markets. This, in turn, will clearly lead to an increase in public revenues through the direct and indirect taxes that startups will contribute to the public treasury

Monstrosity and Ecophobia in Frankenstein, Moby Dick, and Dracula

Since ancient times, images of monsters have appeared in many works and served as embodiments of human fears and sources of ecophobia. Monstrosity evoked contempt, hatred, and ultimately ecophobia, which Estok describes as irrational fear, contempt, or lack of mindfulness toward the natural environment. This paper explores the character of the monster as an embodiment of ecophobia in three Gothic novels: Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1818), Herman Melville’s Moby Dick (1851), and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1897), by interpreting monstrosity in socio-cultural contexts. The following questions will be addressed: How is monstrosity represented? How do monsters exhibit ecophobia? What role does the monster play in creating ecophobia? This paper concludes that monstrosity reflects nineteenth-century preoccupations such as human corruption and scientific excess. It also concludes that viewing monstrosity from an ecocritical perspective highlights the need for harmony in humans\u27 relationship with nature, suggesting that humans should develop a naturalistic understanding and embrace and preserve all aspects of the natural world. Tracing the interconnections between monstrosity and ecophobia epitomizes the writers\u27 distinct concerns about inappropriate human behaviors in both the real and fictional worlds

Free Space Optical Communications: Challenges, Mitigation techniques, Classification Framework, and Standardization

Over the past several years, there has been a renewed interest in Free Space Optical (FSO) communication technology, commonly referred to as Optical Wireless Communications (OWC). FSO is sometimes viewed as a substitute for current technology, such radio frequency. In other situations, FSO is viewed as a potent contender to work in tandem and complement next-generation technology, such 5G wireless networks. FSO technology is therefore widely used in a variety of indoor (such as data centers), terrestrial (such as mobile networks), space (such as intersatellite and deep space communication), and underwater systems (such as underwater sensing). Nevertheless, despite the enormous potential of FSO communication, unfavorable effects (such as absorption, scattering, and turbulence) limit its performance. Of these three effects, atmospheric turbulence poses the greatest threat since it might seriously impair the system\u27s bit error rate (BER) performance and render the communication link unworkable. The first part of this paper presents a semi complete survey on various challenges faced by FSO communication system for both terrestrial and space links. The second provides details of various performance mitigation techniques in order to have high link availability and reliability of FSO system. The third provides the classification frameworks because the necessity for a precise classifications of FSO connection configurations increases with the expansion of the application portfolio for FSO technology. The fourth and final, it talks about standards and recommendation for free space optical communications

Water Quality Assessment of Irrigation Streams within Dakahlia Governorate, Egypt

Water quality degradation is a major global concern and a significant threat to human health. In Egypt, extensive agricultural runoff enriched with fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides endangers the aquatic ecosystems. Accordingly, a reliable water quality monitoring and assessment program is crucial for formulating a management strategy aimed at water resource protection. Indeed, water quality assessment implies a challenge in identifying sampling locations, frequencies and monitored parameters. This paper aims to report on the water quality state of some irrigation streams in the Dakahlia governorate, Egypt. A systematic monitoring program was implemented through three field campaigns conducted in November 2023, February 2024, and August 2024. Accordingly, ten water samples were collected from five irrigation canals and five agricultural drains as part of this program. Eight key parameters, namely Dissolved Oxygen (DO), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Nitrate (NO3-), Phosphate (PO43-), Potential of Hydrogen (pH), Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Fecal Coliform (FC) were laboratory analyzed. Meanwhile, the water temperature was in situ measured. The National Sanitation Foundation Water Quality Index (NSF-WQI) was adopted as a cumulative assessment metric for the streams’ ecological health. The results showed a deviation in the observed concentrations of almost all streams from the local permissible limits. The NSF-WQI rated the agricultural drains as “Bad”. While the canals\u27 water was consistently evaluated as Medium . These findings highlight the urgent need for contamination control measures and ecosystem preservation plans to mitigate environmental damage and health hazards

Life Cycle Analysis of Tourism Destinations According to Butler\u27s model: A Case Study for Tourist Centers on the Red Sea coast

The Butler Destination Life Cycle Model is one of the most prominent analytical tools used to understand the development and change of tourist destinations over time. The model is based on dividing the life cycle of a tourist destination into successive stages: exploration, emergence, development, consolidation, stagnation, and then deterioration or revival. This model helps identify the stages that a tourist destination goes through, providing tools to understand the economic, social, and environmental changes that may affect it. The importance of Butler’s model lies in the fact that it provides a comprehensive vision for the development and sustainability of tourist destinations by understanding the challenges that these destinations may face in their various stages. It also allows planners and tourism policy makers to understand strategies for adapting to changes and directing efforts towards enhancing sustainability and extending the life of the tourist destination. The reason for relying on it is due to the comprehensiveness of its stages and its flexibility in adapting to different geographical and economic contexts. Butler’s model is a powerful tool for understanding how tourist destinations develop considering the multiple factors that affect them, making it the ideal choice for analysing the stages of tourism life in many studies. The research provides a comprehensive vision of the theoretical framework of the model and the indicative factors in determining the life cycle of tourist destinations, then analyzing global experiences in applying that model, then attempting to apply it to tourist centers on the Red Sea coast and formulating policies and mechanisms reflected in the development of centers in each stage of the model

The Effect of Hot Machining of Difficult-to-Machine Materials on the Form Accuracy in the Turning Process

Form accuracy of machined parts is crucial to the interchangeability in production as well as the function of the part and its expected useful life. Numerous studies investigated the form accuracy in traditional machining operations but none of them considered this issue in hot machining. In this technique, a difficult-to-machine workpiece is preheated to soften its material and reduce the cutting force. In this paper, the form accuracy represented in roundness, tape, and straightness of hot turned AISI 304L parts are investigated. The results showed that the hot condition has a minimal effect on the form accuracy which confirms the suitability of hot turning in the manufacturing of precision parts. Nevertheless, this operation is still not suitable for finishing stages due to the part distortion and dimensional relative inaccuracy owing to thermal expansion
