    This study aims to look at the construction of Abu Bakar Alrazi's theological theistic naturalism.This study used the historical approach of biographical reconstruction, to understand and explore one's personality by looking at his socio-cultural and intellectual background. This study found, first, as a scientist Alrazi used theistic reasoning of naturalism because of the socio-religious conditions in its time experienced truth manipulation and limited potential, religious communities were prohibited for rational speculation on religion, because they were considered sacred and established. According to Alrazi, this is the reason why the truth becomes silent and its nature is very closed. Second, Razi is a pure rationalism, makes reason as proof of God's existence, because through reason he can think about the problems of life.This study contributes to the development of new thoughts on scientific and Islamic discourse in Indonesia, particularly in the field of Islamic philosophy

    Etika Utilitarianisme dalam Pluralisme Husein Muhammad

    This study discuses pluralism from the perspective of ethics. Pluralism is not only a matter of attitude or behavior with respect to interactions between groups and religions, but also covers the problems of the rules, boundaries, values, and norms that held where the attitude of pluralism goes on. Husein Muhammad is a Muslim thinker who pays attention to the ethical and practical aspects of pluralism. This research is a descriptive-analytic library research using interpretation method. The data was collected from two sources, namely the primary one which came from Husein Muhammad\u27s works, and the secondary one which came from supporting works on pluralism and utilitarian ethics. The approach this study conduct is ethics of utilitarianism. This article discovers two dimensions of pluralism based on perspective of utilitarianism ethics, namely, action pluralism and regulatory pluralism. According to Husein Muhammad, action pluralism designates to the advantage that society will acquire from pluralism, while regulatory pluralism designates to the acceptability and restrictions of attitudes and behavior where pluralism goes on. [Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pluralisme dari sudut pandang etika. Pluralisme tidak hanya persoalan sikap atau perilaku dalam interaksi antar golongan maupun agama, melainkan juga menyangkut masalah peraturan-peraturan, batasan, nilai, dan norma yang berlaku dimana sikap pluralisme itu berlangsung. Husein Muhammad merupakan salah satu tokoh muslim yang memperhatikan aspek etis dan praktis dari pluralisme. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka (library research) yang bersifat deskriptif-analitik. Analisis data menggunakan metode interpretasi. Pengumpulan datanya dari dua sumber, yaitu sumber primer berupa karya-karya Husein Muhammad, dan sumber skunder berupa karya-karya pendukung seputar pluralisme dan etika utilitarianisme. Adapun pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan etika ulitarianisme. Artikel ini mengungkapkan dua dimensi pluralisme dalam tinjauan etika utilitarianisme, antara lain, pluralisme tindakan dan pluralisme peraturan. Menurut Husein Muhammad, pluralisme tindakan berimplikasi pada manfaat yang akan didapatkkan masyarakat dari sikap pluralisme, sedangkan pluralisme peraturan berimplikasi pada pembatasan-pembatasan sikap maupun perilaku dimana pluralisme masih dapat diterima.

    Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui alasan mengapa pemikiran etika al-Ghazali disebut sebagai etika religius, tulisan ini menggunakan metode interpretasi untuk menafsirkan pemikirannya tentang etika. Adapun yang ditemukan di dalam tulisan ini yaitu: pertama, pemikiran etika al-Ghazali disebut sebagai etika religius karena konsep etikanya mengacu pada keagamaa Islam dan menggunakan jalan sufistik yang menekankan pada pengalaman spiritual, kedua, tujuan dari etika religius yaitu mendapatkan kebahagiaan di akhirat, baik buruknya tindakan ditentukan oleh dampak dalam kehidupan di akhirat, dikatakan sebagai tindakan baik ketika mendukung untuk menuju kebahagiaan di akhirat dan dikatakan buruk ketika menghalanginya, ketiga, cara mendapatkan kebahagiaan di akhirat melalui ilmu dan amal

    Humanisme Teosentris: Telaah Sosiologi Pengetahuan Pemikiran Kuntowijoyo

    This study explores the ideas and thoughts of Kuntowijoyo, especially as they relate to the social construction of his thought on humanism, which is developed through three phases; externalised reality, objectified reality, and internalised reality. The data was collected through library studies, involving reviews of primary and secondary sources. The collected data was analysed using deductive and inductive approach, verstehen method to explore Kuntowijoyo’s ideas of humanism, as well as sociological approach to examine the social construction of his thought of humanism, which is considered theocentric. The finding shows that the thought of Kuntowijoyo oh humanism is socially constructed through dialectical triad, namely: externalised reality, objectified reality, and internalised reality. Such dialectical triad work simultaneously in the development of Kuntowijoyo thought on humanism.[Kaijan ini mencoba menelusuri gagasan dan pemikiran Kuntowijoyo, khususnya berkenaan dengan konstruksi sosial yang membentuk pemikirannya tentang humanisme, yang berkembang melalui tiga fase; realitas eksternal, realitas objektif, dan realitas internal. Data penelitian ini bersumber dati kajian pustaka, termasuk telaah pada sumber primer dan sumber sekunder. Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dianalisa menggunakan pendekatan deduktif dan induktif, metode verstehen untuk menelusuri konstruksi sosial dari pemikiran Kuntowijoyo mengenai humanisme, yang dianggap sebagai teosentris. Temuan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Kuntowijoyo mengenai humanisme terbentuk secara sosial melalui dialektika triadik, yaitu: realitas eksternal, realitas objektif, dan realitas internal. Dialektika triadik itu secara simultan dapat menggambarkan proses perkembangan pemikiran Kuntowijoyo tentang humanisme.

Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa bagi al-Kindi, berfikir rasional adalah keutamaan, yang berarti meneladani perbuatan-perbuatan Tuhan. sehingga kebahagiaan dapat dicapai dengan cara mengetahui keutamaan dan bertingkah laku sesuai dengan tuntutan keutamaan tersebut

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Pengelolaan lembaga anak usia dini perlu dikelola dengan baik agar menjadi sebuah lembaga berkualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji manajemen strategi pembelajaran lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif, yaitu memakai data yang diperoleh dari hasil analisis di lapangan baik melalui observasi, wawancara maupun dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya manajemen strategi yang diupayakan oleh kepala sekolah dalam mengelola risiko bencana di lembaganya. Kepala Sekolah TK Pertiwi 4 Giripurno Borobudur menerapkan manajemen strategi pembelajaran sebagai cara dalam rangka memperlancar proses pembelajaran di masa pandemi. Setidaknya ada empat strategi yang dilakukan TK Pertiwi 4 Giripurno dalam mengelola pembelajaran di era pandemi, di antaranya yaitu implementasi perencanaan yang matang melalui analisis manajemen krisis (before crisis, during crisis dan after crisis), pengorganisasian (organizing) lembaga yang tersistem, pelaksanaan (actuating) yang maksimal dan pemantauan (controlling) dengan menyesuaikan pada ketentuan perundang-undangan terkait situasi kondisi kedaruratan pandemi Covid-19. Melalui implementasi manajamen strategi tersebut, maka dapat menjadi strategi yang efektif dan efisien dalam mengendalikan proses pembelajaran walaupun di tengah kondisi krisis pandemi Covid-19
