On the numerical determination of Dunham's coefficients: An application to X1Σ+HCl isotopomers
Rovibrational transition energies of the centrifugally distorted oscillator for the manifold of the HCl isotopomers are computed by means of an efficient variational-numerical method. The starting points are the potential energy surface determined using highly correlated ab initio calculations (RCCSD(T), MRCI+Q) and the aug-cc-pV6Z and the aug-cc-pCV5Z basis sets. From these data, it is shown how to calculate the mechanical and spectroscopic parameters corresponding to the ground electronic state of the diatomic molecule as well as the coefficients for the Dunham expansion. The relevance of the electronic correlation for an accurate description of the system and the effect of the core correlation are also discussed. © 2010 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.M.L. Evolución magmática y diferenciación interna del plutón alfalfalito (34.1 °S) evidenciada a través de sus variaciones petrográficas y geoquÃmicas
Memoria para optar al tÃtulo de geólogo.El estudio de los cuerpos intrusivos es esencial para comprender la evolución de los sistemas magmáticos en la corteza terrestre. Sin embargo, la mala exposición de la estructura tridimensional de los plutones impedirÃa el acceso al registro completo de los procesos que pueden haber ocurrido dentro del reservorio magmático. En la presente investigación, se estudiar el Plutón Alfalfalito, un caso de una buena exposición, con el objetivo de proponer un modelo evolutivo que explique las variaciones composicionales y texturales del intrusivo, identificando los mecanismos de emplazamiento. Los análisis petrográficos, texturales y geoquÃmicos permiten definir cuatro unidades magmáticas: diorita (51,55 wt% SiO2), cuarzo-diorita y monzodiorita (~55,76 wt% SiO2), tonalita (~52,5 wt% SiO2) y monzogranito (~69 wt% SiO2). Las texturas cumuladas y las concentraciones de elementos mayores y traza indican la ocurrencia de extracciones constantes de fundido y flujos convectivos a escala del plutón durante su evolución. La fábrica magmática definida por cristales de plagioclasa, hornblenda y piroxeno se orienta de forma paralela a los bordes del intrusivo, respetando la forma elongada del reservorio y paralela a los contactos internos entre unidades litológicas, evidenciando contactos reológicos sinmagmáticos. Las estructuras de deformación frágil en la roca de caja alrededor del plutón sugieren que el emplazamiento pudo estar controlado por mecanismos como el stoping, facilitado por la existencia de zonas de debilidad preexistentes. Esto puede indicar que el emplazamiento estuvo controlado por las estructuras regionales en la roca de caja, en particular el contacto entre las formaciones del Cenozoico y Mesozoico, las cuales habrÃan favorecido la generación de espacio para el reservorio de magma

L’integrazione socio-sanitaria, l’approccio multidisciplinare nella programmazione, realizzazione e valutazione, l’attenzione alla funzione educativa sono elementi portanti, e indubbiamente innovativi, del progetto.

A Multi-Language Comparison of Influences on Author Verification using Character N-Grams
We create a new multi-language corpus for author verification based on Wikipedia talkpages, and evaluate the influence that differences in topic and time have on character n-gram author profiles. Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. The vanishing author in computer-generated works: a critical analysis of recent Australian case law
Abstract
The use of software is ubiquitous in the creation of many copyright works, yet the requirement in copyright law that every work have a human author who engages in independent intellectual effort means that its use may prevent copyright subsistence. Several recent Australian cases have refocused attention on authorship as an essential criterion of copyright subsistence, and these cases suggest that much computer-produced output may be authorless and thus lack copyright protection. This article, the first in a two-part series, analyses how each case deals with the question of authorship of computer-produced works and why the use of software diminishes copyright protection for a significant number of computer-generated works. The article critiques the application of conventional notions of human authorship developed in the pre-computer age to modern productions and suggests alternative approaches to authorship that satisfy both the major objectives of copyright policy and the need to adapt to the computer age. The article argues that, without a broader judicial approach to authorship of computer-generated works, Parliament must remedy the lacuna in protection for these ‘authorless’ works. Sleep Enhances Recognition Memory for Conspecifics as Bound into Spatial Context
© 2017 Sawangjit, Kelemen, Born and Inostroza. Social memory refers to the fundamental ability of social species to recognize their conspecifics in quite different contexts. Sleep has been shown to benefit consolidation, especially of hippocampus-dependent episodic memory whereas effects of sleep on social memory are less well studied. Here, we examined the effect of sleep on memory for conspecifics in rats. To discriminate interactions between the consolidation of social memory and of spatial context during sleep, adult Long Evans rats performed on a social discrimination task in a radial arm maze. The Learning phase comprised three 10-min sampling sessions in which the rats explored a juvenile rat presented at a different arm of the maze in each session. Then the rats were allowed to sleep (n = 18) or stayed awake (n = 18) for 120 min.
