No full textThe study aimed to show to what extent songs can be the bearer of ideology and how it is used to polemize against the established values of the society. It also shows how the different movements songs relate to each other. 138 song books comprising 17,000 songs have been analyzed. For each song you can find the beginning of the lyrics, the melody, the author, what year it was published and what category it belongs to.Undersökningens syfte var att för de tre stora folkrörelserna, frikyrko-, nykterhets- och arbetarrörelsen, undersöka i vilken utsträckning sången är bärare av ideologi, hur sången används i polemik mot samhällets etablerade värderingar, samt hur olika folkrörelsers sångskatter förhåller sig till varandra. 138 sångböcker, om tillsammans 17 000 nummer, har innehållsanalyserats. För varje sång har registrerats textens inledningsrad, originaltitel, titel, refrängbörjan, författare, första publiceringsår, översättare, publiceringsår, sångbok samt kategori
