No full textDaniel Inclán López was born in July,1937 in a place called Los Palacios, Pinar del Río. He studied Elementary School and High School in that province until 1954. He began his medical studies in the University of Havana and completed them in 1965. Dr. Daniel Inclán participated in the fight against Batista. He was member of the Movimiento Revolucionario 26 de julio (MR26-7).After the triumph of the Revolution, he performed a variety of tasks within the Revolutionary Armed Forces: he was the second in command of the medical services of the arm forces in the Eastern region of the country (from 1966 to 1970) and the Head of the Sección de Prevención y Asistencia Médica de la Dirección de Servicios Médicos de las FAR. He participated in several internationalist missions.In the university, Dr. Inclán was the founder of the Asociación de Jóvenes Rebeldes (AJR) and the Partido Comunista de Cuba (PCC). In 2000, he received the “Premio Annual de Salud” award, which was given by the Ministry of Public Health. Since 2012, he has worked as professor of the Departamento de Preparación para la Defensa in “General Calixto Gracía” Medical Faculty. He was the head of this department from April 2014 to September 2017. He received many recognitions for his teaching, political, and revolutionary work.Daniel Inclán López nació el 21 de julio de 1937, en Los Palacios, Pinar del Río. Cursó estudios primarios y de bachillerato en esa provincia hasta 1954. Ingresó en la Universidad de La Habana para estudiar Medicina. Se graduó en 1965. Participó en la lucha contra Batista. Perteneció al Movimiento Revolucionario 26 de Julio.Al triunfo de la Revolución, cumplió diversas tareas en las Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias: fue segundo Jefe de Servicios Médicos del Ejército de Oriente, desde 1966 a 1970, Jefe de la Sección de Prevención y Asistencia Médica de la Dirección de Servicios Médicos de las FAR. Cumplió misiones internacionalistas.Es fundador de la Asociación de Jóvenes Rebeldes (AJR) en La Universidad y del PCC. En 2000, le fue otorgado por el Ministro de Salud Pública el “Premio Anual de la Salud”. Desde 2012 es profesor del Departamento de Preparación para la Defensa en la FCM “General Calixto García”. Mr. L. J. Fangman, of the U.S. Weather Bureau, was collaborating with the author in carrying out work such as a study of autographic records of the various meteorological elements during frontal passages with a view to the possible prediction of the intensity of the accompanying disturbance as it may affect the operation of aircraft and a study of atmospheric gustiness with a view to finding the dependence between frequency end amplitude of velocity fluctuations and the vertical temperature and velocity gradients
El «Ante-Texto Preparatorio» de El Ruedo Ibérico, la última obra de Ramón del Valle-Inclán
Full text linkThe following pages are intended to recover and analyze the ‘ante-texto preparatorio’ of El Ruedo Ibérico, the last and incomplete historical cycle of Ramón del Valle-Inclán, from the unpublished manuscripts that are conserved in the Valle-Inclán Alsina Legacy deposited in The University of Santiago de Compostela since 2008. The aim is that of rescuing and presenting the earliest testimonies of the genesis of the project, that is, the pre-redactional phase of documentation and programming of the work. Based on the study of these materials, the knowledge of the writer’s modus operandi in his last novelesque cycle, would be expanded.Las páginas que siguen se proponen recuperar y analizar el ‘ante-texto preparatorio’ de El Ruedo Ibérico, el último e incompleto ciclo histórico de Ramón del Valle-Inclán, a partir de los manuscritos inéditos que se conservan en el Legado Valle-Inclán Alsina depositado en la Universidade de Santiago de Compostela desde 2008. Se trata de rescatar y presentar los testimonios más tempranos de la génesis del proyecto, esto es, la ‘fase pre-redaccional’ de documentación y programación de la obra. A partir del estudio de estos materiales se podrá ampliar el conocimiento que hasta el momento se tiene del modus operandi del escritor al frente de su último ciclo novelesco

No full textThis report is on the investigations of frontal phenomena at the Daniel Guggenheim Airship Institute in Akron, Ohio from January 1, 1935 through August 1, 1936. The investigation was carried out with the cooperation of the U.S. Bureau of Aeronautics, the U.S. Weather Bureau, the California Institute of Technology, and the Guggenheim Airship Institute. Mr. R.C. Robinson of the Weather Bureau cooperated with the author in carrying out the investigation. The object of the investigation was to determine the intensity of the atmospheric disturbances (i.e. rapidity of wind shift and gustiness) accompanying the passage of cold fronts, along with a study of the characteristics of the air masses involved and other features which might affect the intensity of the disturbance. The report treated thirty cold fronts which passed the station during 1935 to 1936
