Orta Toroslar genellikle nap tektoniğinin hakim olduğu bir jeolojik yapıya sahiptir. Çalışma bölgesinde Devoniyen-Alt Kretase yaşlı allokton naplar bulunur. Bölgedeki cevherleşmeler çoğunlukla kırık hatlarında ve erime boşluklarında gözlenmektedir. Kurşun ve çinkonun baskın olarak bulunduğu bu yataklar, bölgenin kartlaşması sürecinde yoğun bir alterasyona maruz kalmış ve bir dizi ikincil oksitler- karbonatlar oluşmuştur. Seçilmiş örneklerin cevher mikroskobu incelemeleri, birincil cevherleşmelerin sfalerit, galen, pirit, freyiberjit ve az miktarda kalkopirit-markazitten oluştuğunu göstermektedir. Yaygın olarak bulunan ikincil mineraller ise smitsonit, serüzit, götit ve limonittir. Cevher mikroskobu incelemelerinde 100 mikron boyutuna varan altın danelerine rastlanmıştır. Seçilmiş cüruf örneklerinin ve primer cevher örneklerinin jeokimyasal analizleri, çalışma konusu olan cevherleşmelerin çinko için işletildiğini göstermektedir. Cürufların yeniden zenginleştirilmesi sonucu özellikle kurşun, gümüş ve altın oranlarında önemli artışlar tespit edilmiştir. Allocthonous nappes of Devonian-Lower Cretaceous age occur in the study area. Ore mineralizations of the region chiefly occur in fracture zones and karstic gaps. These deposits predominantly contain lead and zinc were subjected to intense alteration during karstification of the area. Consequently, a number of secondary ore minerals were resulted in the from of oxides and carbonates. Ore microscopy investigations of selected samples indicated that sphalerite, galena, pyrite, freibergite with trace chalcopyrite, marcasite account for primary sulfide minerals. Common secondary minerals include smithsonite, serrusite, goethite and limonite. Gold grains up to 100 microns in across have been observed during ore microscopy examinations. Geochemical analyses of selected ore and slag samples indicated that sub deposits should have been exploited for zinc. Concentrates from slags are rich particularly in lead, silver and gold. No full textPersonal information and university information need to be protected, which requires that only authorized users gain access to the information. Text-based password is the commonly used as a method for authenticating users who attempt to access such information. Implementation of password policy from the system administrator of university prevents students from select a password that is too easy to guess. Furthermore the proper user practice influences the successfulness of password policy in terms of security and usability. Unfortunately, little are known about the relationship between user practice, forget and security in response to password policy. Thus the researcher investigated and analyzed the issues toward the implementation of password policy of iStudent portal at University Technology of MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam amongst postgraduate and undergraduate students. Survey via questionnaire was conducted for 400 samples of students and analyzed was done in quantitative method. There are 4 factors identified in user practice such as password handling, password composition, password storage and reuse and user sentiment and these factors were influenced by demographic. The factors of user practice had been analyzed using statistic methods such are Descriptive analysis, Wilcoxon test, Kruskal-Wallis, Logistic Regression Model and Chi Square test where the result was related with the forget and security issues. Then, several recommendations of guidelines were proposed for password policy that results in strong password without unduly burdening students. In conclusion, the result of analyzing and proposed guideline built eventually help the university to increase the security and usability in iStudents password policy for future improvement

Safuandzi Bin Abdullah untuk menjayakan program khidmat masvarakat bertajuk Kempen Kesedaran Risiko Empangan Bukit Merah di Pejabat JPS Empangan Bukit Merah. Empangan Bukit Merah merupakan empangan tertua di Malaysia yang mula dibina pada tahun 1902 dan siap pada tahun 1906. Empangan ini pernah dinaiktaraf pada tahun 1967 dan 1984 untuk meningkatkan kapasiti takungan. Objektif kempen ini adalah untuk memberi kesedaran kepada penduduk yang tinggal di hilir empangan tentang risiko dan tindakan kecemasan yang perlu diambil oleh mereka jika berlaku bencana. Kempen ini termasuk di dalam Pelan Tindakan Kecemasan Empangan Bukit Merah. Kempen ini telah dijalankan secara berkumpulan dengan setiap kumpulan bergerak dari rumah ke rumah. Lapan buah kampung yang terlibat terletak di hilir empangan iaitu Kg Parit Air hitam, Tali Air Kanan, Parit Mat Keling, Kg Tanjung Bugis, Abu Elassan Ban, Kg Padang Lalang, Kg Batu 38 dan Ban Pisang. Monitoring of building structural deformation using global positioning system, terrestrial surveying technique and crack gauge measurement / Mat Rahim Ibrahim
No full textDeformation of engineering structures is often monitored in order to ensure
that the structure is exhibiting a safe deformation behavior. The deformation of highrise
building can be monitored using geodetic surveys and geotechnical/structural
measurements. Geodetic surveys include conventional (terrestrial) and satellite
(Global Positioning System); wherelse geotechnical/structural measurements are
detected either by using leasers, tiltmeters, joint-meters or micrometers. This
research discusses the capability of monitoring high and low-rise building structure
using geodetic surveys (conventional and satellite) and geotechnical measurement
(crack width measurement). Two buildings namely the Twin Tower and Innovation
Centre Building of University Technology MARA (UiTM), Selangor, Malaysia were
chosen for this research. Five control stations have been established around the
UiTM Twin Tower Building for the purpose of monitoring and another nine points
for the Innovation Centre Building. The monitoring exercises were carried out at four
(4) different epochs. The Terrestrial and Global Positioning System (GPS) dataset in
the monitoring exercise were processed and analysed using the Trimble Geodetic
Office (TGO) survey software. Generally the monitored points for the Twin Tower
Building experienced movements within 1 mm to 10 mm. For the Innovation Centre
Building monitored points seemed to shift between 1 mm to 9 mm. Detection of
movement for both building structures seemed to be within the allowable tolerance.
It is shown that monitoring of building structures using the techniques adopted in this
study has significant advantages and disadvantages.

No full textThis article shows the call of Prophet Ibrahim to his people in cultivating the belief of monotheism through natural phenomena found in Surat al-An‘am verses 74-79. This letter talks about the efforts of Prophet Ibrâhîm in inculcating the monotheistic beliefs of his father and his people who worshiped idols and worshiped the stars, moon and sun. Where what was conveyed by Prophet Ibrahim that is contained in his mind is a strong belief and trust from the guidance of Allah swt. The verse also tells about Prophet Ibrahim, where at that time Prophet Ibrahim made the stars, moon and sun as a medium to tell his people that the stars, moon and sun are God's creation and not the god they believe in. Prophet Ibrahim lived in an environment of worshipers of the stars, moons and stars. He educated his people by adapting and adapting to the level of understanding and knowledge so that his people believed in piety to the god of the universe, Allah swt. Then he accompanied his people towards true I'tikad step by step. That is why Prophet Ibrahim when he saw the star appear, Prophet Ibrahim said "this is my god." When the star sank Prophet Ibrahim said "I do not like something that is lost." When seeing the stars sink, so say against the emergence of the sinking of the moon and the sun. Prophet Ibrahim used the method of debate and argumentation with his people which aimed to break their misguided beliefs and lead to sound beliefs by thinking using logic with clear evidence. All the words of Prophet Ibrahim in the above verse describe his thought process to teach his people to find the One True God Allah swt
Meditation Awareness Training (MAT) for work-related wellbeing and job performance: a randomised controlled trial
No full textDue to its potential to concurrently improve work-related wellbeing (WRW) and job performance, occupational stakeholders are becoming increasingly interested in the applications of meditation. The present study conducted the first randomized controlled trial to assess the effects of meditation on outcomes relating to both WRW and job performance. Office-based middle-hierarchy managers (n = 152) received an eight-week meditation intervention (Meditation Awareness Training; MAT) or an active control intervention. MAT participants demonstrated significant and sustainable improvements (with strong effect sizes) over control-group participants in levels of work-related stress, job satisfaction, psychological distress, and employer-rated job performance. There are a number of novel implications: (i) meditation can effectuate a perceptual shift in how employees experience their work and psychological environment and may thus constitute a cost-effective WRW intervention, (ii) meditation-based (i.e., present-moment-focussed) working styles may be more effective than goal-based (i.e., future-orientated) working styles, and (iii) meditation may reduce the separation made by employees between their own interests and those of the organizations they work for

Penggunaan potret diri dalam karya ini adalah merujuk kepada narcissism sebagai konsep dalam seni lukis. Ini kerana pelukis cenderung menggunakan potret diri seperti bagaimana pengkarya Frida Kahlo menggunakan potret sebagai ekspresi diri. Selain itu ju ga pengkarya menggunakan potret diri kerana mahu menyatakan dirinya wujud dan dia sendiri yang mengalami situasi sekarang. Penggunaan corak berpancar dan dipadukan dengan kertas berwarna coklat bagi menggambarkan genre pop art dalam gaya vintage. Ini kerana pelukis cuba mempersembahkan karya seperti sebuah poster bagi menarik perhatian masyarakat terhadap isu yg melanda sekarang. Ini kerana peranan poster adalah sebagai alat komunikasi yang berkesan bagi menyampaikan sesuatu mesej dengan jelas dan cepat
