No full textEn Tell Ibrahim Awad, se conoce un yacimiento predinástico con su necrópolis, un templo del Imperio Medio y una necrópolis próxima. Centro de vital importancia desde el período predinástico hasta la época Tolemaica, debido a su ubicación en el Delta Oriental, que significaba la vía de entrada a Egipto, y por lo tanto, nexo de unión con otras culturas a través del comercio y la comunicación entre éstas.Up to now, a predynastic deposit with its own necropolis, a temple from the Middle Empire and a nearby necropolis are known in Tell Ibrahim Awad. It was a place of fundamental importance since the Predynastic period until the Ptolomeic age, due to its location on Eastern Delta, meaning the entrance into Egypt and, therefore, a link with other cultures through commerce and communication among them
