Financial and non-financial factors for the success of hybrid offerings: evidence from multinational enterprises in an emerging market
Purpose – The purpose of this study is to identify the financial and non-financial factors contributing to the success of hybrid offerings among Pakistani multinational enterprises (MNEs). Design/methodology/approach – To capture the complexity and interdependence of success factors, this study employed fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA). Data were collected from 213 chief executive officers (CEOs) of Pakistani MNEs.
Findings – The findings indicate that organizational support for service plays a vital role in hybrid offerings. Specific paths, such as a service-oriented corporate culture and management commitment to service, are necessary conditions for successful hybrid offerings.
Originality/value – The study sheds new light on the causal relationship underlying hybrid offerings in Pakistan, one of the Next Eleven countries, which is among the fastest-developing economies. We identified various paths to the financial and non-financial success of hybrid offerings within the Pakistani manufacturing MNE sector, which, to the best of our knowledge, has been underexplored. Additionally, we considered the digitalization dimension, which integrates and strengthens previous configurational models

The Complete Muhammad Ali
Including material and photographs not included in most of the 100 other books about the champion, Ishmael Reed's The Complete Muhammad Ali is more than just a biography-it is a fascinating portrait of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st. An honest, balanced portrayal of Ali, the book includes voices that have been omitted from other books. It charts Ali's evolution from Black Nationalism to a universalism, but does not discount the Nation of Islam and Black Nationalism's important influence on his intellectual development. Filipino American author Emil Guillermo speaks about how "The Thrilla' In Manila" brought the Philippines into the 20th century. Fans of Muhammad Ali, boxing fans, and those interested in modern African American history and the Nation of Islam will be fascinated by this biography by an accomplished American author.Intro -- DEDICATION -- INTRODUCTION -- The Curious History of an Icon -- CHAPTER 1 -- CHAPTER 2 -- CHAPTER 3 -- CHAPTER 4 -- CHAPTER 5 -- CHAPTER 6 -- CHAPTER 7 -- Did the Secret Government Fear a U.S. Muslim/Overseas Muslim Alliance? -- CHAPTER 8 -- CHAPTER 9 -- The Break Between the Prophet and his Disciple -- CHAPTER 10 -- CHAPTER 11 -- CHAPTER 12 -- The GOAT (Greatest Of All Time): Ali or Louis? -- CHAPTER 13 -- The Nation of Islam, the Mob, Showdowns in Canada and Sonny Liston -- CHAPTER 14 -- CHAPTER 15 -- The Taunts: Marketing or Racism? -- CHAPTER 16 -- CHAPTER 17 -- CHAPTER 18 -- CHAPTER 19 -- Boxing and the Brain -- CHAPTER 20 -- Ali's Feet -- CHAPTER 21 -- Mr. Dick -- CHAPTER 22 -- CHAPTER 23 -- The Opening Ceremonies, November 2005 -- CHAPTER 24 -- December 2005, Las Vegas -- CHAPTER 25 -- CHAPTER 26 -- June 16, 2004 -- CHAPTER 27 -- CHAPTER 28 -- CHAPTER 29 -- Aix-en-Provence -- CHAPTER 30 -- Ali as a Black Nationalist -- San Francisco, January 2004 Black Liberation Book Fair -- CHAPTER 31 -- January 31, 2004 -- CHAPTER 32 -- October 2005, Chicago -- CHAPTER 33 -- Why Ali remained with Elijah instead of following Malcolm -- CHAPTER 34 -- CHAPTER 35 -- February 4, 2006, Oakland, California -- CHAPTER 36 -- Like Zeus Descending from Mount Olympus -- CHAPTER 37 -- CHAPTER 38 -- Tuesday, February 28, 2006, New York -- CHAPTER 39 -- Bigger Than Boxing -- CHAPTER 40 -- Tribes Gallery, New York, April 2006 -- CHAPTER 41 -- June 2006, Louisville, Kentucky -- CHAPTER 42 -- CHAPTER 43 -- CHAPTER 45 -- Bad Company -- CHAPTER 46 -- Coxson, A Very Charming Rogue -- CHAPTER 47 -- Ali and the largest embezzlement scheme in Wells Fargo history -- CHAPTER 48 -- CHAPTER 49 -- "Lonnie is a stabilizing force."-Harry Belafonte -- October 29, 2006 -- CHAPTER 50 -- Abdul Rahman -- CHAPTER 51 -- CHAPTER 52 -- CHAPTER 53How Will Ali Be Remembered? Influence of Resilience of entrepreneurs on sustainable tourism development: mediating role of corporate philanthropy
Some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nations may be
connected to human stay and travelling, e.g. SDG 9, relative to Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 7,
relative to Affordable and Clean Energy, and also SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities (Soh et al., 2023), which are strictly related to sustainable tourism. We applied the Structural equation modeling (SEM). SEM can be defined as a series of statistical
techniques applied in order to find a relationship between independent variables, continuous or discrete. The paper shows that corporate philanthropy is a strong mediator between resilience
and sustainable tourism development and this reduces agency issues between managers and owners, as these ones are
more recalcitrant to spend money for society, especially after a turbulence like the pandemic
A comprehensive investigation of geometrical accuracy errors during WEDM of Al6061-7.5%SiC composite
Al-matrix composites specifically Al6061-7.5%SiC which holds promising mechanical properties, is a potential candidate in aeronautical industry. Though the reinforcement of SiC in Al-substrate has appreciably enhanced the mechanical characteristics, but it complicates its machining as the composite bears excellent hardness and strength. Moreover, its intended applications require the formation of intricate profiles. Therefore, the processing/machining of such composite is challenging. Wire electric discharge machining (WEDM) is an appreciable choice for Al6061-7.5%SiC machining. However, intrinsic issues of WEDM, i.e., wire vibrations and lag have resulted in a compromised dimensional accuracy of machined part. Furthermore, realization of similar errors' magnitude in both the cutting orientations (axial; E(XD)and lateral; E-YD) is difficult because of the presence of SiC-reinforcement which is a stimulus for wire disturbances. Similarly, this reinforcement influences corner accuracy and makes it's tedious to attain same corner errors at both faces (top; AE(TOP)and bottom; AE(BOT)). These accuracy issues have not been discussed yet which is primarily done herein using response surface methodology. Statistical, optical, and SEM analyses are performed for detailed understanding of the parametric effects. The minimum error values achieved are 0.01 mm, 0.105 mm, 0.249 degrees and 0.475 degrees in case of E-XD, E-YD, AE(TOP)and AE(BOT)respectively.

Corporate Governance and Cost of Debt: Mediating Role of Environmental, Social, and Governance Disclosure
This study examines the direct relationship between corporate governance (including board gender diversity, board independence, insider ownership, institutional ownership, and foreign ownership), ESG disclosure, and the cost of debt. Drawing on stakeholder, agency, and signaling theories, the study extends its analysis to examine the mediating effect of ESG disclosure in the relationship between corporate governance and the cost of debt. Using a sample from nine sectors of the Chinese economy, the results show that most board characteristics are negatively related to the cost of debt, except for insider ownership, which shows a significant positive relationship. In addition, ESG disclosure is found to significantly reduce the cost of debt and serves as a mediator between corporate governance and the cost of debt. This study makes a unique contribution by highlighting the mediating role of ESG disclosure in the relationship between corporate governance and the cost of debt
