    APLIKASI JENIS MIKORIZA UNTUK PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BEBERAPA VARIETAS KACANG TANAH (ARACHIS HYPOGAEA L.) PADA ULTISOL

    RINGKASANIBNU YASIER. Aplikasi Jenis Mikoriza Untuk Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Beberapa Varietas Kacang Tanah (Arachis hypogaea L.) pada Ultisol di bawah bimbingan Syakur sebagai pembimbing ketua dan Helmi sebagai pembimbing anggota.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh aplikasi jenis mikoriza dan varietas kacang tanah serta interaksi antara keduanya terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil pada Ultisol. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan, Laboratorium Hortikultura, Laboratorium Biologi Tanah Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Syiah Kuala, Darussalam Banda Aceh dan Laboratorium Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian Aceh, mulai bulan November 2017 sampai dengan Februari 2018. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok pola faktorial 4x4 dengan 3 ulangan, dimana jenis mikoriza terdiri dari Kontrol, Glomus sp, Gigaspora gigantea dan Acaulospora tuberculata dan varietas kacang tanah terdiri dari Tuban, Hypoma, Bima dan Kelinci. Peubah yang diamati adalah analisis tanah awal, (pH tanah dan P-tersedia), tinggi tanaman, diameter batang dan jumlah cabang per tanaman umur 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, panjang akar, berat berangkasan segar, berat berangkasan kering, serapan P, jumlah buah per tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong hampa per tanaman, berat polong per tanaman dan persentase kolonisasi akar fungi mikoriza arbuskula pada akar tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis mikoriza berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pH tanah tinggi tanaman umur 45 hari setelah tanam, diameter batang umur dan jumlah cabang 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, panjang akar, berat berangkasan segar, berat berangkasan kering, serapan P, jumlah buah per tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman, jumlah polong hampa per tanaman, berat polong per tanaman dan persentase kolonisasi akar fungi mikoriza arbuskula serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap P-tersedia namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 15 dan 30 hari setelah tanam. Adapun jenis mikoriza terbaik dijumpai pada jenis mikoriza Glomus sp. Varietas kacang tanah berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pH tanah, tinggi tanaman umur 15, 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, jumlah cabang umur 45 HST, berat berangkasan segar, berat berangkasan kering, serapan P, jumlah buah per tanaman, jumlah polong per tanaman dan berat polong per tanaman serta berpengaruh nyata terhadap P-tersedia, jumlah cabang umur 15 dan 30 HST namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap diameter batang umur 15, 30 dan 45 HST, panjang akar, jumlah polong hampa per tanaman dan persentase kolonisasi akar fungi mikoriza arbuskula. Adapun varietas terbaik dijumpai pada varietas Bima. Terdapat interaksi yang sangat nyata terhadap pH tanah, P-tersedia, jumlah cabang per tanaman umur 30 dan 45 hari setelah tanam, berat berangkasan segar, serapan P dan jumlah polong per tanaman. Adapun kombinasi perlakuan terbaik dijumpai pada jenis mikoriza Gigaspora gigantea dengan varietas Bima.Kata kunci : mikoriza, varietas kacang tanah, ultisol.?SUMMARYIBNU YASIER. The Application Kind of Mycorrhiza and Yield of Some Varieties of Peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) on Ultisol under the guidance Syakur as supervisor and Helmi as co-supervisor. This objective of experiment is to study the influence of the application kind of mycorrhiza and varieties of peanut on growth and yield on Ultisol. The research was conducted in at the Experimental Field, Laboratory of Plant Diseases, Laboratory of Soil Biology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Syiah Kuala Darussalam, Banda Aceh, and in Laboratory of The Agency for Agricultural Technology Studies of Aceh, started from November 2017 until February 2018. The experimental design used a Randomized Block Design with factorial pattern 4x4 with three replications, where application kind of mycorrhiza consisted of Control, Glomus sp, Gigaspora gigantea, and Acaulospora tuberculata and the varieties of peanut consisted of Tuban, Hypoma, Bima and Kelinci. The observed parameters were (pH soil and P-available), plant of height, stem diameter and number of branches at age 15, 30 and 45 the day after planting (DAP), the length of the roots, fresh biomass weight, dry biomass weight, P uptake, number of pods, number of empty pods, pod weight, and the percentage of colonization of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi on root plant. The result of the experiment showed that the kind of mycorrhiza had significant effect on plant height at 45 DAP, stem diameter and the number of branch at 15, 30 and 45 DAP, the length of roots, fresh biomass weight, dry biomass weight, P uptake, number of pods, number of empty pods, pod weight, and the percentage of root colonization and had a significant effect P-available, however there was no significant effect on plant of height at 15 and 30 DAP. The best kind of mycorrhiza was Glomus sp. Varieties of peanut had highly significant effect on soil pH, plant height at 15, 30 dan 45 DAP, number of branches at 45 DAP, fresh biomass weight, dry biomass weight, P uptake, number of pods and the weight of pod as well as had a significant effecton P-available, number of branch at 15 and 30 DAP. There was no significant effect on stem diameter at 15, 30 and 45 DAP, the length of roots, number of empty pods and the percentage of root colonization. The best varieties of peanut was Bima. There was significant interaction effect on soil pH, P-available, number of branch at 30 and 45 DAP, fresh biomass weight, P uptake and number of pods. The best treatment was the combination of Gigaspora gigantea and varieties of Bima.Keywords: mycorrhiza, varieties of peanut, Ultisol

    The low availability of P nutrient in Ultisol becomes the limitation factor for plant growth. The research was aimed to know the effect of applicating types of mycorrhizal to P uptake, growth and peanut yield in Ultisol. The research used Randomized Complete Block Design Non-Factorial, which consists of control (M??0), Glomussp (M1), Gigasporagigantea (M2), and Acaulosporatuberculata (M3). The parameters were P uptake, plant height, plant fresh weight, plant dry weight, root infection, number of pods per plant, and weight of pod per plant. The result of the research showed that the application of Gigasporagiganteaaffected the P uptake and fresh weight biomass, however it was not significantly affected other parameters. The application of Glomussp was significantly affected to all parameters. While, control and the application of Acaulosporatuberculata was not significant effect to all parameters

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods

    We have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
