Mallomonas pseudocorymbosa Gusev, Martynenko & Shkurina 2023, sp. nov.
No full text<i>Mallomonas pseudocorymbosa</i> Gusev, Martynenko & Shkurina <i>sp. nov.</i> (Figure 2). <p> <b>Diagnosis:</b> Scales are oval, tripartite, 4.8–5.9 × 3.3–4.3 µm in size, with or without a dome. The dome is large, rounded, oval or asymmetrical. The V-rib is acute, slightly hooded and its arms continuous with the anterior submarginal ribs. Anterior submarginal ribs are well developed. The anterior flange is wide, especially on the domeless scales, with a row of base plate pores at each side. The posterior flange is wide, with numerous base plate pores distributed on the surface. The shield and posterior flange have a secondary siliceous layer forming circular or elongated oval meshes unevenly distributed on the surface often with areas without development of the secondary layer. Numerous pores are placed on the basal plate. The posterior upturned rim is narrow, with inner struts visible only on TEM images, encircles less than a half of the scale perimeter. Bristles are 13–25 μm long, curved and serrated at the distal half. Shorter bristles have a bifurcated tip with a long terminal spine, and longer bristles have a prolonged thread-like terminal part. Cysts unknown.</p> <p> <i>Holotype (here designated):</i> Portion of a single gathering of cells on SEM stub No. CD8 deposited at the Herbarium, Papanin Institute for Biology of Inland Waters RAS, Borok (IBIW). Material from Ahn Hai Lake, Côn SƠn Island, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province, Vietnam. Figure 2C illustrates a representative scale from the holotype specimen.</p> <p> <i>Type Locality:</i> Ahn Hai Lake, Côn SƠn Island, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu Province, Vietnam. Latitude / Longitude: 8° 40.645’ N 106° 35.867’ E. At the time of collection, the pH was 6.5, temperature 30 °C, and specific conductance 201 µS cm-1. Material was collected by E.S. Gusev and Nguyen-Ngoc Lam on 3 May 2015.</p> <p> <i>Etymology:</i> The species name is derived from the fact that its scales resemble, and could be confused with, those of <i>Mallomonas corymbosa</i>.</p> <p> <i>Distribution:</i> This species has been observed in 17 localities in 13 provinces of Vietnam (Table 1). Artificial intelligence for heart rate variability analyzing with arrhythmias
No full textIntroduction. Existing standards of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) technology limit its use to sinus rhythm. A small number of extrasystoles is allowed, if the device used has special procedures for the detection and replacement of ectopic complexes. However, it is important to expand the indicated limits of the applicability of the HRV technology. This specially regards the cases when the HRV technology looks promising in the diagnostics, as, for example, in atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.
Materials and Methods. All ECG measurements were performed on XAI-MEDICA® equipment and software. Processing of the obtained RR Series was carried out using the software Kubios® HRV Standard. All recommended HRV characteristics for Time-Domain, Frequency-Domain and Nonlinear were calculated.
The purpose of the work. The article presents an artificial intelligence (AI) procedure for detecting episodes of arrhythmias
and reconstruction of core patient’s rhythm, and demonstrates the efficacy of its use for the HRV analysis in patients with varying degrees of arrhythmias.
The results of the study. It was shown efficiency of developed artificial intelligence procedure for HRV analyzing of patients with different level of arrhythmias. These were demonstrated for Time-Domain, Frequency-Domain and Nonlinear methods. The direct inclusion into review of Arrhythmia Episodes and the use of the initial RR Series leads to a significant distortion of the results of the HRV analysis for the whole set of methods and for all considered options for arrhythmia.
Conclusion. High efficacy of operation of the procedure AI core rhythm extraction from initial RR Series for patients with arrhythmia was reported in all cases
Electrically enhanced drying of white champignons
No full text[EN] Electrohydrodynamic (EHD) drying is a novel non-thermal dewatering technology using electric discharge in air to enhance dehydration of heatsensitive biomaterials. Low energy consumption and high product quality make it attractive for industry. In this study, the mushrooms slices have been dried under sole EHD with 12, 14, and 16 kV DC, and EHD in combination with air cross-flow at 1 m s-1 and different relative humidity (RH) from 30 to 70 %. It was found that drying kinetics was exponential over initial moisture contents from 3.3 to 14.1 g·g-1 (db). The equilibrium moisture content ranged

No full textThe article presents the findings of the empirical study on the developmental level of communication toolkit
of senior preschool children with system speech disorders of primary origin. Communication toolkit is an individual
peculiar complex of an individual’s communication traits (interpersonal, social and psychological), which describe
his or her current abilities in exercising communication components of different activities. The given structure
has a significant impact on communication outcomes and further socialization of children with system speech
disorders. It has been discovered that specific development of preschooler’s personal communication traits causes
difficulties in communication on a basic and operational levels, evoke lack of iniative during communication
and structural deficiency of communication activity. Based on research outcomes, the author has elaborated
personal profile of a child with system speech disorders. In order to harmonise communication activity structure
of children with system speech disorders, the author introduces psychological system promoting its development,
a significant part of which is devoted to development of communication potential of the given category of children.
Communication potential is treated as individually specific system of a child’s communication inclinations, which
can be actualised through activity of communication subject. Corrective and educational intervention aiming
at developing communication potential requires active involvement of an adult who facilitates the process and
provides comfortable psychological environment for the child’s communication traits to be manifested

“Scottish Question” and Its New Cultural Meanings in “Culture Capitalism” by Alasdair Gray
No full textAn interpretation of the story “Culture Capitalism”, placed in the authoritative anthology “Every Short Story: from 1951 to 2012” of the classic of Scottish literature Alasdair Gray, in the context of the original interpretation by the patriotic writer of the “Scottish question «is offered in the article. It is noted that the problems of the story, written in 1990, are closely related to the establishment in the same year of the status of Glasgow as a cultural capital. Gray’s doubt about the declared cultural messages is analyzed through the prism of the concepts of P. Bourdieu and S. Žižek. It is proved that certain plots and images indicate the development in Gray’s work of ideas close to researchers of postcolonial literature, and in particular the idea of “internal colonization" of Scotland. An interpretation of a number of images that have an allegorical meaning in the light of criticism of English cultural, political and economic hegemony is offered in the article. In addition, based on the ideas of J. Homberg-Schramm about the nature of the nation’s ideas about its gender, class and linguistic identity, the author considers the representation of national auto-stereotypes and their consistent revision. The author concludes that Alasdair Gray sees the possible peaceful coexistence of England and Scotland beyond the boundaries of the model of exploitative colonialism

In this thesis I am writing about his life as well as about how the author was introduced to the interpreter of his music and their mutual influence, which in many cases has positive impact on the creation of his composition, which wouldn’t come into being if it wasn’t for David Oistrach. Included are also his record, some from concerts where David Oistrach had his openings. Thanks to his concerts these compositions became world-known and played
