PHASE II CALDERON PROCESS TO PRODUCE DIRECT REDUCED IRON RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
This project was initially targeted to the making of coke for blast furnaces by using proprietary technology of Calderon in a phased approach, and Phase I was successfully completed. The project was then re-directed to the making of iron units. In 2000, U.S. Steel teamed up with Calderon for a joint effort which will last 42 months to produce directly reduced iron with the potential of converting it into molten iron or steel consistent with the Roadmap recommendations of 1998 prepared by the Steel Industry in cooperation with the Department of Energy by using iron ore concentrate and coal as raw materials, both materials being appreciably lower in cost than using iron pellets and coke

Photograph shows Alicia Martinez Calderon standing on porch of her residence (203 King William Street) with her children and their families and two young friends. L. to r. (standing)" Carlos Calderon, Alicia Martinez Calderon, Elsa I. Gutierrez Calderon, Hector Calderon, Bertha Calderon (wife of Edward), and Rosalinda Calderon (wife of Carlos)"(seated): Jeanette Nandin (friend), Irene Nandin (friend), Edward A. Calderon (in wheelchair), Liza Calderon, Linda Rose Calderon, Cynthia Calderon, and Roland Calderon (he and the three Calderon girls were all children of Carlos and Rosalinda Calderon). Col. Severino Calderon, on horseback, during Mexican Revolution
Photograph shows Colonel Severino Calderon, wearing sombrero and poncho, poseing on horseback. Taken when he was with the federal force combating revolutionaries in Chihuahua.Inscription on upper right:''"Coronel del / Sr [?] Cuerpo de Voluntarios / de / Camargo Cha. [Chihuahua] / 1910.'' Note from lender:''"Colonel Severino Calderon I fought the rebels (Pancho Villa) as a volunteer in the main Plaza, Cuidad Camargo - twice...Colonel Calderon was captured and was a prisoner for a time. Either through self-imposed exile or exiled by Pancho Villa, Colonel Calderon settled in San Antonio, Texas. He was very wealthy and bought several pieces of property, including his residence, 120 Cedar Street [King William Historic District]...on May 17, 1913.'

PHASE II CALDERON PROCESS TO PRODUCE DIRECT REDUCED IRON RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
This project was initially targeted to the making of coke for blast furnaces by using proprietary technology of Calderon in a phased approach, and Phase I was completed. The project was then re-directed to the making of iron units. U.S. Steel teamed up with Calderon for a joint effort which will last 30 months to produce directly reduced iron with the potential of converting it into molten iron (hot metal) consistent with the Roadmap recommendations of 1998 prepared by the Steel Industry in cooperation with the Department of Energy. The work which is labeled as Phase II will take place at two levels; namely, the bench scale level and the process development unit (PDU) level. The bench scale work is being divided into two parts; the construction and operation of Bench Scale No.1 to make hot metal direct as one part and the construction and operation of Bench Scale No.2 to make DRI with its conversion to hot metal as the second part. The work at the PDU consists of getting the PDU which exists ready for advancing the activities from bench scale to PDU level
"Sangrada".
The essay veryfies the link between an important comedia by Calderon and a canovaccio of Commedia dell'arte, underlining the divaricate endings of the two works; the italian adaptation avoids the final execution of the murder, according to the different taste of the italian public

Calderon Cokemaking Process/Demonstration Project
This project deals with the demonstration of a coking process using proprietary technology of Calderon with the following objectives in order to enable its commercialization: (i) making coke of such quality as to be suitable for use in high driving (highly productive) blast furnaces; (ii) providing proof that such process is continuous and environmentally closed to prevent emissions; and (iii) demonstrating that high-coking-pressure (non-traditional) coal blends which cannot be safely charged into conventional by-product coke ovens can be used in the Calderon process. The activities of the past quarter were entirely focused on operating the Calderon Process Development Unit (PDU-I) in Alliance, Ohio conducting a series of tests under steady state using coal from Bethlehem Steel and U.S. Steel in order to demonstrate the above. The objectives mentioned above were successfully demonstrated
Calderon-Zygmund Operators Assocıated Wıth Schrodınger Operator And Theır Commutators On Vanıshıng Generalızed Morrey Spaces
We establish the boundedness of Calderon-Zygmund operators associated with Schrodinger operator and their commutators on vanishing generalized Morrey spaces
An effectivization of the global reconstruction in the Gel'fand-Calderon inverse problem in three dimensions
International audienceBy developing the d-bar approach to global "inverse scattering" at zero energy we give a principal effectivization of the global reconstruction method for the Gel'fand-Calderon inverse boundary value problem in three dimensions. This work goes back to results published by the author in 1987, 1988 and proceeds from recent progress in the d-bar approach to inverse scattering in 3D published by the author in 2005, 2006
