학위논문(석사)--아주대학교 일반대학원 :심리학과,2007. 8본 연구에서는 낙관성의 두가지 접근 방식인 긍정적 기대감(성향적 낙관성)과 낙관적 설명양식이 우울과 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보고, 그 과정에서 사회적 지지와 스트레스 대처양식의 매개 효과를 검증하였다. 또한 이 두 종류의 낙관성이 우울과 안녕감에 영향을 미치는 경로가 각기 다를 것이라 가정하여 구조모형 검증을 하였다. 이를 위해 서울과 경기도 소재 대학생 348명을 대상으로 낙관성, 사회적 지지, 스트레스 대처양식, 우울과 안녕감을 설문조사 하였다.
낙관성이 우울과 안녕감에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 단순 회귀분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과 LOT와 ASQ 각각으로 측정한 낙관성은 서로의 영향을 통제한 상태에서도 유의미하게 종속변인들을 설명하였지만, LOT의 설명량이 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 구조 방정식 모형 검증결과 사회적 지지는 낙관성이 우울과 안녕감에 미치는 효과를 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 Bootstrap 방법을 통해 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 검증한 결과 역시 유의미하였다. 대처양식의 경우 낙관성이 안녕감에 미치는 영향은 매개하였지만, 우울에 미치는 영향은 매개하지 않았다. LOT와 ASQ 각각으로 측정한 낙관성과 사회적지지, 대처양식, 우울 및 안녕감 사이의 관계를 구조모형검증 한 결과 LOT로 측정한 긍정적 기대감은 사회적지지와 대처양식, 우울 및 안녕감에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤지만 ASQ로 측정한 낙관적 설명양식의 경우 대처양식과 우울, 안녕감에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것이 아니라 긍정적인 기대감을 거쳐 간접 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 연구결과는 낙관적인 사람의 인지적 과정이 미래에 대한 기대감에 영향을 주고 그로 인해 더 적응적인 결과를 이끌어 내는 것이라 해석할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점 및 제한점에 관해 논하였다.I. 서론 1

Differential gene expression analysis reveals functional roles of cryptic orange-pigmented organ in the colorless head kidney of Antarctic icefishes
We discovered an orange-pigmented, discrete body several millimeters in size embedded within the anterior end of the colorless head kidney of the hemoglobinless Antarctic icefishes. No macroscopically visible discrete organ has previously been reported in Antarctic fishes or teleost fishes in general. To assess the tissue type and functions of this cryptic orange body, we performed RNA sequencing and analyzed the orange body transcriptome relative to the surrounding head kidney tissue. We found 5,263 differentially expressed genes in the orange body, of which 4,624 genes were up-regulated and 639 down-regulated relative to the head kidney tissue. Differential gene expression analyses detected the enrichment of two main biological pathways: steroid hormone production and proline biosynthesis. The steroidogenic activities of the orange body indicate it performs functional roles of the interrenal tissue cells – the teleost homolog of the tetrapod adrenal cortex but are normally dispersed among the teleost head kidney tissue. Transcription of many cytochrome P450 enzymes participating in steroidogenesis were upregulated, potentially leading to greater levels of ROS and peroxidation of the lipid-rich steroid producing orange body cells. HybTrack: A hybrid single particle tracking software using manual and automatic detection of dim signals
Single particle tracking is a compelling technique for investigating the dynamics of nanoparticles and biological molecules in a broad range of research fields. In particular, recent advances in fluorescence microscopy have made single molecule tracking a prevalent method for studying biomolecules with a high spatial and temporal precision. Particle tracking algorithms have matured over the past three decades into more easily accessible platforms. However, there is an inherent difficulty in tracing particles that have a low signal-to-noise ratio and/or heterogeneous subpopulations. Here, we present a new MATLAB based tracking program which combines the benefits of manual and automatic tracking methods. The program prompts the user to manually locate a particle when an ambiguous situation occurs during automatic tracking. We demonstrate the utility of this program by tracking the movement of beta-actin mRNA in the dendrites of cultured hippocampal neurons. We show that the diffusion coefficient of beta-actin mRNA decreases upon neuronal stimulation by bicuculline treatment.
