    PENDAMPINGAN DESAIN ULANG SURAU SEBAGAI WADAH BERKUMPUL MASYARAKAT MUSLIM DARI 3 RUKUN TETANGGA (RT)

    Surau is an essential facility in the community that plays a significant role in the Islamic life of the people in an urban area. Surau features\u27 capacity in a re-design plan is needed to enhance the strength of togetherness as a gathering facility to develop community bonds by utilizing computer technology to produce digital images. The Project Assists the Muslims Community in 3 RTs on Jalan Parit H. Husin Pontianak to re-design Surau Darur Risalah to meet the needs of community activities and provide a construction phasing plan to obtain a fitting costs target. The communication method for design assistance is through 2 times face-to-face meetings (Focus Discussion Group) and WhatsApp social media to assimilate some figures from the community for Surau design needs. The resulting product has become the basis for the Muslim community in 3 RT to commence the construction of the Darur Risalah. In addition, the community also has a base for utilizing social potential by mobilizing togetherness through scheduled community self-help (Gotong Royong) activities. --- Surau merupakan bangunan komunitas penting yang memberi peran besar dalam kehidupan keislaman masyarakat di suatu wilayah. Perencanaan re-desain Surau dibutuhkan dengan memanfaatkan teknologi komputer untuk menghasilkan gambar digital dengan aplikasi AutoCAD dan SketchUp dengan tujuan memudahkan masyarakat dalam memahami rencana re-desain ini. Pendampingan desain surau dengan khalayak sasaran komunitas Muslim di 3 RT di Jalan Parit H. Husin Pontianak dalam re-desain surau Darur Risalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan aktivitas masyarakat serta memberikan rencana pendanaan yang sesuai dengan pentahapan konstruksi. Metode komunikasi pendampingan desain melalui 2 kali tatap muka (Focus Discussion Group) dan media sosial WhatsApp untuk menyerap masukan kebutuhan desain surau dari masyarakat. Produk yang dihasilkan telah menjadi dasar masyarakat Muslim di 3 RT memulai konstruksi surau Darur Risalah. Selain itu, masyarakat juga memiliki dasar untuk memanfaatkan potensi sosial dengan menggerakan kebersamaan melalui kegiatan gotong royong terjadwal

    Destructive Environmental Discourse: An Author\u27s Writing Strategy in Children\u27s Stories

    This article aims to describe the discourse of the destructive environment found in the book Indonesian Children\u27s Stories of Choice and explain the presence of destructive environmental discourses as an author\u27s writing strategy. Environmental discourse is a subject of special attention in studying language related to the environment. This study uses the Ecolinguistic theory of the story we lived by Arran Stibbe. Environment discourse is stories that live in a community environment that influences and even determines one\u27s mind. The environment consists of constructive and descriptive discourse. This study focuses on destructive environmental discourse, i.e., disasters containing information that violates or opposes environmental conservation values. The results of this study indicate that destructive environments are one of the authors\u27 writing strategies for punishing characters in stories that contradict the environmental values of intelligence. In addition, the discourse of environmental destruction is created to be the reason for the presence of the discourses of resistance that are constructive and on the side of the wisdom of the environment. This study concludes that the authors use the environmental disasters as part of the message of the story to be known so as not to be done or followed by readers, especially readers from among children

    Masalah kualitas minyak kelapa sawit masih menjadi perhatian, terutama terkait dengan kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) yang tinggi dimana dapat mengurangi daya tahan dan kualitas minyak kelapa sawit, sehingga berdampak pada kualitas produk akhir yang dihasilkan. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah berapakah kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) dan kadar kotoran yang terkandung dalam Crude Palm Oil (CPO) di pabrik kelapa sawit PT. Socfin Indonesia Seunagan, adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui standar mutu yang terkandung dalam Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dengan parameter kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) dan kadar kotoran di storage tank yang telah ditetapkan di pabrik kelapa sawit PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Seunagan. Penelitian dilaksanakan 04 – 15 Oktober 2022 di laboratorium pabrik kelapa sawit PT Socfindo Seunagan Kabupaten Nagan Raya, menggunakan metode gravimetri dan titrimetri. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan secara wawancara dan observasi langsung melakukan pengamatan di laboratorium. Data dikumpulkan primer dan sekunder. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai rata – rata kadar asam lemak bebas pada CPO di Storage tank antara lain, pada bagian atas yaitu 2,16%, pada bagian tengah yaitu 2,18% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 2,21%, sedangkan nilai rata – rata kadar kotoran pada CPO di Storage tank yaitu 0,02%, pada bagian tengah yaitu 0,03% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 0,05%, Dapat dikatakan bahwa nilai dari kadar asam lemak bebas dan kadar kotoran pada CPO masih memenuhi standar mutu yang telah ditetapkan oleh PT PT Socfin Indonesia Seunagan yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Seunagan, Kabupaten Nagan Raya, Provinsi Aceh

    Produk yang dihasilkan di pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Seunagan adalah minyak kelapa sawit kasar atau Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan inti kelapa sawit (kernel). Proses pengolahan kelapa sawit melalui beberapa stasiun antara lain stasiun penerimaan buah, stasiun perebusan, stasiun penebah, stasiun pengempaan, stasiun pemurnian dan stasiun pengolahan biji. Dalam industri pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit faktor utama yang dapat menimbulkan kerusakan mutu minyak sawit yaitu kandungan air dan kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas CPO pada Vacuum dryer  di PKS PT. Socfin indonesia kebun Seunagan yang dilihat dari kadar ALB dan kadar air. Analisa kadar asam lemak bebas dilakukan dengan metode titrasi asam basa dengan menggunakan larutan standar NaOH 0.25 N, sedangkan analisa kadar air menggunakan metode gravimetri. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh rata-rata kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) pada bagian atas yaitu 2,12%, lalu pada bagian tengah yaitu 2,21% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 2,25%. Pada kadar air bagian atas dengan rata-rata yaitu 0,15%, lalu pada bagian tengah yaitu 0,19% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 0,17% Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa dari analisa kadar asam lemak bebas, dan kadar air  telah memenuhi syarat pabrik PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Seunagan dan Standar SNI

    ABSTRACT Herbal supplements are one of the products that are taken from outside the body derived from a mixture of herbal plant ingredients have antioxidant activity to prevent the presence of free radicals in the body. Testing natural antioxidant activity in herbal supplement products using the DPPH method (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhyrazil). Measurement of UV-Visible spectrophotometry absorbance with DPPH absorbance value at a wavelength of 517 nm. Sensory analysis using a hedonic test at the panelist preference level, using four attribute parameters namely taste, aroma, color and overall acceptance. Results Tests of antioxidant activity in herbal supplement products on various combination techniques and concentrations of garlic, ginger, local lemons and honey, resulting in the reduction of DPPH which is characterized by a reduction in the intensity of the color from purple to fade to yellow. Antioxidant testing obtained IC50 values ​​from all herbal supplement samples from various treatment techniques and concentrations showed IC50 values ​​less than 50 found in the treatment of chopped engineering materials, concentration 1 (K1) of 23.97%. While concentrations of 2 (k2) and 3 (k3) as well as in various combination techniques and other concentrations indicate that IC50 values ​​range from 50 ppm to 100 ppm. This shows that herbal supplements have very strong antioxidants (IC50 value <50) found in the treatment of ingredients with chopped techniques with the lowest concentration. whereas herbal supplements with treatment techniques and other concentrations have a strong antioxidant value of IC50 (50-100). The results of sensory analysis indicate that the average panelist had a preference level for herbal supplement products with chopping and extraction treatment techniques. Keywords: Antioxidant, DPPH, Herbal supplements, IC50   ABSTRAK   Suplemen herbal merupakan salah satu produk yang menjadi asupan dari luar tubuh yang berasal dari hasil campuran bahan tanaman herbal yang mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan tinggi untuk mencegah adanya radikal bebas dalam tubuh. Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan alami pada produk suplemen herbal menggunakan metode DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhyrazil). Pengukuran absorbansi secara spektrofotometri-UV Visibel dengan Nilai absorbansi DPPH pada panjang gelombang 517 nm. Analisis sensori dengan menggunakan uji hedonik pada tingkat kesukaan panelis, menggunakan empat parameter atribut yaitu rasa, aroma, warna dan penerimaan keseluruhan. Hasil Pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dalam produk suplemen herbal pada berbagai teknik kombinasi dan konsentrasi bawang putih, jahe, lemon lokal dan madu, menghasilkan peredaman DPPH yang ditandai dengan berkurangnya intensitas warna ungu menjadi pudar sampai kekuningan. Pengujian Antioksidan didapatkan Nilai IC50 dari seluruh sampel suplemen herbal dari berbagai teknik perlakuan dan konsentrasi menunjukkan nilai IC50 kurang dari 50 terdapat pada perlakuan bahan teknik rajangan, konsentrasi 1 (K1) sebesar 23,97 %. Sementara konsentrasi 2 (k2) dan 3 (k3) serta pada berbagai teknik kombinasi dan konsentrasi lainnya menunjukan bahwa nilai IC50  berkisar 50 ppm - 100 ppm. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa suplemen herbal memiliki antioksidan yang sangat kuat (nilai IC50 <50) terdapat pada perlakuan bahan dengan teknik rajangan dengan konsentrasi yang paling rendah, sedangkan suplemen herbal dengan teknik perlakuan dan konsentrasi lain memiliki nilai antioksidan kuat IC50 (50-100) ppm. Hasil analisis sensori menunjukan bahwa rata-rata panelis memiliki tingkat kesukaan pada produk suplemen herbal dengan teknik perlakuan rajangan dan perlakuan sari. Para pedagang harus bisa menjaga imun tubuh agar tidak mudah terserang penyakit dan virus Covid 19. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengajarkan cara pembuatan suplemen herbal kepada para pedagang. Adapun Metode pelaksanaan Pengabdian adalah: (1) Sosialisasi tentang covid 19 dan pencegahannya dengan menguatkan imun (2) Sosialisasi pentingnya meminum suplemen herbal kepada pedagang (3) Proses Pembuatan suplemen herbal. Masyarakat menyambut baik pengabdian ini. Para pedagang sangat antusias dan ingin membuat suplemen herbal dirumah. Antusias pedagang juga terlihat dari keingintahuan pedagang tentang cara pembuatan suplemen herbal.     This article discusses the social facts experienced by Americans in literature, especially novel. Literary work as a social documentation imagined by the author is a reflection of the values of a nation or ethnicity. The main objective of research is to trace the reality of slavery that occurred in America as a social fact in literary works. This research is useful in strengthening the sociological aspects of literary works as well as proving that literary works save a social reality at the time so that readers are able to judge literary works not merely as fiction, but also as social documentation. The writer in this study uses one of the literary research methods, namely Genetic Structuralism Approach. This method emphasizes three main aspects, namely literary work, the background of the author\u27s life, and social reality. Novel Incidents In The Life Of A Slave Girl written by Harriet Ann Jacobs in 1858 was used as primary research data, then a number of references about the author\u27s social background and the reality of slavery in the history of the American nation became secondary data. Primary and secondary research data obtained through literature study. Based on the results of this study found the events of slavery in the history of the American nation. Slavery was the act of white Americans forcibly employing black Negroes on the lands of plantation and agricultural also mining areas. Slavery is a valuable lesson for Americans in protecting human rights today as well as a historic lesson in building the American national spirit, namely freedom, independence, and democracy. The reality of slavery is reflected in the novel Incidents In The Life Of A Slave Girl as well as the life experience of its author, Harriet Ann Jacobs

Seeing this phenomenon, the author tries to review the philosophical values that exist in wayang in relation to the lives of the Javanese people. The method used to review these philosophical values is a literature study method that utilizes several sources of previous books and articles as references. In this paper, the author finds that every symbol used in wayang performances has a very deep philosophical value and meaning for the lives of the Javanese people.     Poor waste management has become a problem in Kuta Jeumpa Village of Jeumpa Sub-district of Aceh Barat Daya Regency. The people of Kuta Jeumpa Village still throw their household wasteinto the river. As the result, the water of Putroe Aloh River in Kuta Jeumpa Village is filled with household waste. To overcome this situation, waste management education is needed to be carried out for the people of Kuta Jeumpa to manage their waste properly. The people of Kuta Jeumpa village need to be taught on how to turn waste into a source of income, for example by introducing on how to make processed food from household waste. After the the people of Kuta Jeumpa received the waste management education, they have succeeded in making new processed food products from household waste with the help of university students and lecturers. The products produced can provide profit value for the community. In addition, the community was also educated to no longer throw their household waste into the river
