James Hill ve svém příspěvku v tomto časopise podporuje hlavní požadavek „novohumovců“, který vymezuje Huma jako epistemologického skeptika a ontologického realistu. Vůči tomuto pojetí máme několik výhrad. Některé se týkají nejasností v definici realismu a celkově i smysluplnosti projektu „Nový Hume“. Některé se týkají konkrétních Hillových argumentů zaměřených na Humovy Dialogy a především jeho tvrzení, že v tomto díle lze nalézt další důkaz Humova realismu

Diffusive author(s), cohesive author: Analysis of S/N (1994)
No full textThis study indicates the ways in which various aspects of the author(s) are brought forth in Dumb type’s performance art, the S/N production. Previous research has suggested a non-hierarchical organization of Dumb type and the absence of a “privileged author” in Dumb type’s collaborative work, S/N. However, the results that I have investigated from member’s interviews on the creative process of S/N along with my analysis of the recorded images of S/N, indicate a different aspect of the author(s). First, S/N was created through, so to speak, the collective ideas of the members of Dumb type. Further, S/N has at least nine quotations from previous performances, installations, and printed writings, besides the work-in-progress technique. Explicating one of the “author functions” as given by Michel Foucault, each text has plural subjects of the author. However, it has been revealed from members’ interviews that Teiji Furuhashi had a decision-making role in selecting the members’ ideas within the performance. Since then, S/N has had plural subjects of creation; however, Furuhashi is one of the subjects of creation along with the “privileged author.” S/N has plural authors (diffusive authors) yet at the same time, it has a “privileged author,” Teiji Furuhashi (cohesive author)
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Komparasi Patikrama Tatanen Huma Sunda di Padukuhan dan Pedesaan di Jawa Barat
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap makna Patikrama Tatanen Huma Sunda, suatu prinsip pengelolaan ladang yang terkait dengan sistem pelestarian ekosistem hutan tropis. Patikrama Tatanen Huma tersirat dalam beberapa naskah kuno, yang tata caranya dilestarikan oleh beberapa padukuhan kabuyutan Sunda. Banyak penelitian tentang patikrama tatanen huma ini terfokus pada kehidupan pahuma di Desa Kanekes dan kawasan kasepuhan lain, namun belum banyak yang melakukan studi komparasi dengan kegiatan huma di kawasan padesaan. Melalui pendekatan etnografi, penelitian dilakukan pada beberapa kawasan padesaan di Jawa Barat yang masih melakukan aktivitas pertanian huma yang produktif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mengetahui adanya perbedaan dan persamaan paradigma dalam aplikasi Patikrama Tatanen Huma Sunda. Komparasi ini dapat memberikan wawasan tentang konsekuensi Perubahan serta nilai manfaat dalam pelestariannya, sehingga menjadi bahan pertimbangan dalam pemulihan ekosistem desa hutan dan menghidupkan kembali prinsip bertani yang sesuai dengan akar budaya masyarakat petani di kawasan padesaan.This study aims to reveal the meaning of Sundanese Patikrama Tatanen Huma, a principle of field management related to the system of preserving tropical forest ecosystems. Patikrama Tatanen Huma is implied in some ancient manuscripts, the procedure of which is preserved by some Sundanese kabuyutan. Many of the researches on the patriarchal order of public relations focused on the life of pahuma in the village of Kanekes and other areas of Kasepuhan, but not many have conducted comparative studies with the activities of public relations in the region. Through an ethnographic approach, research was conducted in several rural areas in West Java that were still carrying out productive agricultural activities. This research was intended to find out the differences and similarities in the paradigm in the application of Huma Sunda Patikrama Tatanen. This comparison can provide insight into the consequences of change and the value of benefits in its preservation, so that it becomes a consideration in restoring forest village ecosystems and reviving farming principles that are in accordance with the cultural roots of farmers in the rural areas

The purpose of this study is to know the position analysis at PT Huma Indah Mekar and to know the benefits of position analysis at PT Huma Indah Mekar, Lampung Province. The method of this research is qualitative by carrying out field observations, interviews, and literature studies. The respondents of this study were employees at PT Huma Indah Mekar. The results of this study are job descriptions at PT Huma Indah Mekar with two implementation indicators by or guided by SKKNI (Indonesian National Work Competency Standards) No. 149 of 2020, namely: conducting job analysis and determining job descriptions. All of these indicators are directed in the formation of a job desc which presents job descriptions from: position identity, position structure, main functions of the position, job duties, job responsibilities and indicators, authority, job title relationship, and job job job position requirements

This is a survey consisting of a study of all the para 7 or over delivered at St. Luke`s Hospital, Malta, during the two-year period 1963-1964. A series of 638 grande multipara is studied. The findings show a higher rate than average for certain obstetrical abnormalities, such as toxemia, abruptio placentae, still-birth and malpresentations. Notwithstanding, the maternal mortality is not affected.peer-reviewe
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
