The empirical research project is to be seen as a way to filter the supervisory relationship in a highly complex process-dynamic and woven interlacing. The search for the theory and metatheory in practice was the motivation to find the theoretical reference in supervisory work in the field of supervision and to have it become visible, to point out possible effects through and in supervision and to enquire into the social representation in the field of supervision.Hypothetically it followed the process of supervision along the line of development of relationality in the Intersubjective Co-respondence-Concept of Contact – Meeting – Relationship – bond. Through the enquiry on the assessment of the meaning and importance of the identification criteria of these terms in a supervisor-supervisee system, indications were collected for this line of development. The bond as a mode of relationality should not be a theme in the unfolding of a supervisory relationship. Can a freely decided relationship, in the sense of living intersubjectivity, be terminated by agreement, can also an ephemeral bond not be dismissed out of its inviolability? With this realisation, the conclusion of a supervisory relationship is to be viewed very carefully, in order to plan the parting and ending of a working relationship together, to reflect in Convisionary Seeing, to meta-reflect and to come to a good ending.https://www.fpi-publikation.de/supervision/02-2006-edlhaimb-hrubec-christiana-maria-die-supervisorische-beziehung/peerReviewedpublishedVersio
Etymological fragments concerning Word and Concept of Supervision in the focus of Integrative Supervision
In www.fpi-publikationen.de/supervision – SUPERVISION: Theorie – Praxis – Forschung. The etymological fragments of the word and of the concept, “supervision”, serve for the critical analysis of the created term, “supervision”. Philosophy of language and evolution of the word “supervision” are rooted in its Greek-Latin origin, its historical development up to the modern age. A look at the use and misuse of the concept of supervision brings to light structures and functions of power. The socio-cultural and semantic understanding of supervision is connected with the identity-creating role of the supervisor. The etymological and developmental historical search serves as a self-, meta- and triplex-reflection of supervisors, in order to analyse the concepts of work and identity in a deconstructivistic manner. Expectations and anxieties of all those involved in the process of supervision are considered hermeneutically. The new, old approaches of the phenomenological views in the sense of the ancient Greek word eídein (e?de??) are put side by side with the historically charged word “supervision”. Convisionary looking is being thought of prospectively as a chiasm, as the interlacing of the seeing person and the subject being seen, sensu Merleau Ponty, and placed into the discourse. The global way of “Integrative Supervision” as an evidence based best word with transparent etymology and semiotics is, in democratic socio-structures, a successful way with a short tradition and dynamic development. The material here presented is connected with the study of Hilarion G. Petzold »On the lack of sensitivity of clinical supervisors concerning the historicity of the name of their „profession“ – Conceptual myths and some facts on the origin and background of the word “supervision” from an Integrative Perspective«. Eine interdisziplinäre Internet-Zeitschrift – 01/2005, which is following the same discourse of conceptual an historic clarification.https://www.fpi-publikation.de/supervision/02-2005-edlhaimb-hrubec-christiana-maria-etymologische-fragmente-zu-wort-und-begriff/peerReviewedpublishedVersio
A note on ascertainment probability in the Allen/Hrubec twin model.
In their general model of twin concordance Allen and Hrubec recently introduced the concept of secondary ascertainment rate to consider partial ascertainment of secondary cases. This concept is found to be of limited interest because only pairs where valid information can be obtained from both twins should be included in genetic analyses. It is furthermore shown that the validity of the proband method and the Allen/Hrubec model depends on the equivalence of ascertainment in twins from concordant and discordant pairs. However, if this condition is fulfilled, it has been shown how the ascertainment probability in cotwins of probands is related to the overall ascertainment probability in the total population.</p

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Finally, we show by means of an example that our findings have a high practical relevance.information science;Pearson correlation;cosine;similarity measure;author cocitation analysis
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
sophisticated methods
