    O reaction

    Following a recent investigation on the N(2D) + H2O reaction [Homayoon et al., J. Phys. Chem. Lett. 5, 3508 (2014)], we report on an experimental and theoretical study of the isotopologue N(2D) + D2O reaction. Crossed molecular beam (CMB) experiments were conducted at a collision energy of 10.3 kcal mol–1. Quasiclassical trajectory calculations were performed on a recent potential energy surface to derive the centre-of-mass functions necessary to simulate the CMB laboratory distributions. Excellent agreement was found. The importance of the channel leading to HON/DON was confirmed. The inclusion of this channel, in addition to that leading to the isomer HNO/DNO, can affect the models considering the coupling between nitrogen and oxygen chemistry in the upper atmosphere of Titan

    USULAN PERBAIKAN KUALITAS LAYANAN DI HOMAYOON VILLA UBUD

    Penelitian ini diawali dengan identifikasi masalah yang terjadi pada Homayoon Villa Ubud melalui wawancara dengan stakeholder sehingga mendapatkan permasalahan yang terjadi yaitu terdapat keluhan pelanggan disertai jumlah pelanggan yang tidak meningkat pasca pandemi. Kepuasan pelanggan dianggap masih kurang dari segi fasilitas dan pelayanan serta persaingan yang semakin meningkat dengan inovasi layanan para pesaing yang semakin bervariasi Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada pelanggan yang pernah menginap di Homayoon Villa Ubud kemudian melakukan analisis tingkat kepuasan menggunakan metode SERVQUAL. Langkah berikutnya adalah melakukan analisis dengan menggunakan IPA (important performance analysis) untuk mengetahui prioritas perbaikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode TRIZ yang berperan dalam memunculkan solusi perbaikan yang berdasarkan logika dan data sehingga mempercepat pengembangan solusi secara kreatif dan inovatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 25 atribut layanan yang dikelompokkan dalam lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan yaitu fisik (tangibility), keandalan (reliability), jaminan (assurance), empati (emphaty), dan daya tanggap (responsiveness). Perolehan nilai rata-rata persepsi adalah 4,050 sedangkan nilai harapan adalah 4,308 dengan gap sebesar -0,258. Nilai minus menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan belum puas dengan kualitas layanan yang diberikan Homayoon Villa Ubud. Terdapat 4 atribut yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan yaitu pelanggan mudah mendapatkan informasi dari karyawan vila, fasilitas dan peralatan yang berfungsi dengan baik, interior dan eksterior yang bersih dan terjaga, dan lahan parkir yang luas. Hasil usulan solusi yang didapatkan adalah pembuatan kartu nama, pembuatan jadwal pengecekan, pembuatan jadwal pemeliharaan (pembaharuan dan pengecekan), serta pembuatan denah strategis untuk penambahan lahan parkir

    Metasurfaces

    We propose a dual-functional broadband tunable terahertz polarization converter metasurfaces. The designed structure is composed of a hybrid of electromagnetic materials and provides tunable polarization conversion in the reflection and transmission states. Not only does the polarization converter provide a wide range of polarization conversion from 5.34 to 7.80 THz with a high polarization conversion ratio (more than 0.97), but also is tunable and controllable.</p

    Gain improvement of rectangular dielectric resonator antenna by engraving grooves on its side walls

    A new technique for increasing the boresight gain of a rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) operating at its fundamental radiating TEy111 mode is introduced. The idea is to increase the radiations from the side walls of the DRA compared to that of its top wall by engraving grooves on the side walls. A model based on the array theory is developed to explain the high-gain nature of the antenna. The measured results demonstrate that the proposed antenna achieves an impedance bandwidth of 21% over a band of 3.24-4 GHz, with a maximum gain of 9.6 dB. This is significantly higher with respect to available data in the literature

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

    High gain rectangular dielectric resonator antenna using uniaxial material at fundamental mode

    The use of uniaxial anisotropic materials in rectangular dielectric resonator antennas (DRAs) increases the radiation from their side walls compared to their top walls due to the fundamental radiating mode, which leads to the improvement of boresight directivity. The different boundary conditions on the walls of DRA are also investigated. The main phenomenon of gain enhancement is also theoretically explained. The proposed method is validated by comparing the simulation results for the cases of isotropic DRAs and anisotropic DRAs (ADRAs). The measured results for an aperture-coupled uniaxial ADRA show an impedance bandwidth of 20.65% between 3.17 and 3.9 GHz and a peak broadside gain of 8.4 d
