No full text本文是以日治時期中部重要詩社「櫟社」社長傅錫祺及其文學作品《鶴亭詩集》為研究論題，藉由《鶴亭詩集》及其相關文獻、資料，探討傅錫祺之生命歷程並全面分析《鶴亭詩集》之豐富內涵，進而以此案例，建構日治時期台灣傳統文人的精神面貌。
第一章緒論，包括研究動機與目的、方法，回顧前人相關文獻，並簡述本文架構。第二章介紹詩人生平並詳述公職生涯與文學活動，從而對傅錫祺家世、生平的掌握，進而陳述其社會地位與所處時代，以期呈現這位飽含漢學養份的傳統文人於當時歷史脈絡中的生命全貌。第三章為傅錫祺《鶴亭詩集》所呈現之故國情懷與政治意識的內容探析，就詩集內容中故國情懷與遺民意識的展現、異族統治下的認同意識、從日治到戰後的時局觀等面向，分別探討日治時期傳統文人的認同意識與時局觀。第四章為《鶴亭詩集》所呈現之家庭生活與文學交友，除以《鶴亭詩集》中有關家庭的作品分，一窺台灣傳統文人的居家生活與家庭觀念，文學交友方面則呈現出傅氏與櫟社友人相知相惜、相濡以沫的真摰情誼。第五章為「《鶴亭詩集》所反映之台灣在地書寫與社會關懷，更深入地探討詩集中所呈現出日治時期台灣自然風貌、庶民生活，以及台灣地區的天然災害等社會關懷面向。第六章「結論」，總結全文並述及傅錫祺及其《鶴亭詩集》之歷史地位與文學價值。
總而言之，本論文除藉由《鶴亭詩集》探討傅錫祺之生命歷程、生命情調，交呈日治時期之台灣風貌與傳統文人身份、認同意識、現代性經驗，也期望藉由本論文一窺日治時期的傳統文人，在異族統治下，面臨新舊雜楚、傳統與現代的過渡時期所扮演的角色功能，以作為研究者理解勾勒日治時期知識份子及其文學作品的理解途徑。The thesis states about the research of the leader of the important poetic society “Li poetic organization” and his works “Ho-Ting Poems” during Japanese Colonial Rule. With the poems of Ho-Ting and the other literature documents ,we try to realize the life experience of Fu Hsi Chi for analyzing the content of “Ho-Ting Poems” and the spirit of Taiwan traditional literati further, during Japanese Colonial Rule.
The first chapter “introduction” including the research motivation , method, reviews of related research documents and illustrates the constructs of the thesis. Chapter 2 introduces the life experience of the poet Fu Hsi Chi,illustrates his public career and literature activities, so as to realize the background of Fu for presenting the whole life during the time of the history about the traditional literati with knowledgeable Sinology. Chapter 3 mentions the author's contradiction and recognition between the native country and the new ruler, and the attitude toward the politic doghouse written in his works “Ho-Ting Poems” . Chapter 4 presents Fu's family and domestic life written in “Ho-Ting Poems” . Besides,we also mentions the friendship of Fu and the other literati. In Chapter 5,we try to find the author's view of sympathy on Taiwan locals in his works “Ho-Ting Poems” and observe the nature landscape, living of plebeian inhabitants and natural disasters during Japanese Colonial Rule. Chapter 6 concludes the previous chapters , states the accomplishments of Fu Hsi Chi and the value of “Ho-Ting Poems”.
All in all, the thesis explores the life experience of Fu Hsi Chi. Beside, presents the nature of Taiwan, the recognition and the modern time experiences of traditional literati . Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. No full textWe have done our best to complete the author checklist relating to the use of animals in the hut study. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
