Implementing the AIFMD: Success or failure? ECMI Commentary No. 34, 28 March 2013
No full textThis commentary considers the implementation of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) by the European Commission. The AIFMD creates an internal market for asset management and as an endeavour to develop market-based finance is an important piece of legislation for the European economy. The author, Mirzha de Manuel Aramendía, considers the implementation of some of the provisions that raised concern among industry participants. He finds that, on balance, a practical and flexible approach to implementation has been followed that should help secure the success of the framework, which at present is still uncertain. The commentary also considers the remuneration guidelines adopted recently by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA). It encourages EU and national authorities to commit to the success of the AIFMD framework, as part of a broader effort to develop capital markets and reduce the historical reliance of the European economy on bank finance

Pedagógico (EP), do 2.º ano do Mestrado em Ensino de Educação Física nos Ensinos
Básico e Secundário da Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), tem como objetivo
apresentar sucintamente as atividades desenvolvidas durante o período de EP. Este
decorreu na Covilhã, mais concretamente, na Escola Secundária Frei Heitor Pinto
(ESFHP) e na Escola Básica de Tortosendo (EBT), ambas pertencentes ao Agrupamento
de Escolas Frei Heitor Pinto (AEFHP), com supervisão do Professor José Pedro
Fernandes, como Orientador Cooperante, e acompanhamento ativo do Professor Doutor
Ricardo Ferraz, como Orientador Científico.
Este relatório iniciará, no primeiro capítulo, com uma breve introdução e
contextualização da escola, do Grupo Disciplinar de Educação Física (GDEF) e do
Professor Estagiário (PE). Em seguida, abordarei as particularidades do ensino,
detalhando alguns princípios e metodologias tidas em conta para a lecionação ao 2º e 3º
Ciclos do Ensino Básico e Ensino Secundário. Para além disso, também serão explorados
alguns aspetos relativos ao Desporto Escolar (DE), à intervenção na escola, à direção de
turma e à intervenção com o meio. O primeiro capítulo ficará, portanto, concluído com a
reflexão final, seguida das referências bibliográficas que deram suporte à sua elaboração.
Por sua vez, no segundo capítulo, a atenção do relatório recairá sobre o projeto de
investigação intitulado “Utilização da Abordagem Baseada em Jogos e Modelo de
Instrução Direta numa Unidade Didática de Corfebol”. Neste, após uma breve
introdução, serão apresentados os resultados obtidos, a respetiva discussão e as
conclusões do estudo, seguidas das referências bibliográficas que deram suporte à sua
elaboração.This document, prepared within the scope of the Pedagogical Internship course, of
the 2nd year of the Master’s degree in Physical Education Teaching for Primary and
Secondary Education at the University of Beira Interior, aims to briefly present the
activities developed during the Pedagogical Internship period. It took place in Covilhã,
more precisely at the Escola Secundária Frei Heitor Pinto and the Escola Básica de
Tortosendo, both belonging to the Agrupamento de Escolas Frei Heitor Pinto, under the
supervision of Professor José Pedro Fernandes as Cooperating Mentor and with the
active involvement of Professor Ricardo Ferraz, as Scientific Advisor.
This report will start, in the first chapter, with a brief introduction and
contextualization of the school, the Physical Education Discipline Group, and the Trainee
Teacher. Next, the particularities of teaching, detailing some principles and
methodologies considered for teaching at the 2nd and 3rd Cycles of Basic Education and
Secondary Education will be addressed. Additionally, some aspects related to school
sport, school intervention, class management, and community engagement will be
explored. The first chapter will be concluded with a final reflection, followed by the
bibliographical references that supported its development.
Furthermore, the second chapter will focus on the research project entitled “The
Impact of Two Distinct Methodological Approaches on the Technical-Tactical
Performance in Korfball of Secondary School Students.” This chapter will present the
obtained results, respective discussion and conclusions of the study, followed by the
bibliographical references that supported its development
