    학위논문(석사)--아주대학교 일반대학원 :분자과학기술학과,2019. 2자가 조립 히알루론산 나노파티클 (HA-NP; 소수성 중심과 친수성 히알루론산이 둘러 싼 구조로 구성된) 은 생체 적합성, 비 독성 및 수용체 특이적 결합과 같은 훌륭한 생물학적 특성 때문에 의약품 운반체로 광범위하게 연구되어 왔다. 우리의 이전 연구에서, 어떠한 약물도 함유되지 않은 HA-NP 그 자체가 NLRP3 인플라마좀의 활성을 역전시켜 지방 조직 염증을 억제하고, 인슐린 민감성과 혈당을 개선함으로써 제 2형 당뇨병 치료 물질로서의 기능이 있다는 것을 확인했다. 여기서 이 논문은 비만으로 인한 간, 지방 조직 염증의 HA-NP 치료 효과가 주된 세포막 HA 수용체 CD44에 의존한다는 증거를 제시하고 있다. 야생형 (CD44+/+) 마우스와 달리 CD44 유전자가 제거된 (CD44-/-) 마우스는 HA-NP의 항 염증 효과를 확인할 수 없었다. 게다가 고지방 식이를 한 CD44-/- 마우스는 CD44+/+ 마우스에 비해 간과 지방조직의 대식세포 함량, 인슐린과 혈당이 낮았다. 따라서 이러한 결과들은 간과 지방조직 염증 제어와 인슐린 민감성에 대한 HA-NP의 효과는 CD44 의존적으로 매개된다는 것을 제시한다.I .     Laporan Latihan Iimiah bertajuk "Pakej Bergrafik bagi Geometri". Latihan ini merupakan sebahagian daripada keperluan Sarjana Muda Sains Komputer, Universiti. Malaya. Ia telah dibangunkan menggunakan perisian Java. Aspek-aspek multimedia seperti grafik, animasi dan teks dengan menggunakan perisian Java te lah dimasukkan ke dalam pakej sebaik mungkin. Di samping itu, pakej itu juga direkabentuk supaya ianya benar-benar berinteraktif, iaitu pengguna turut melibatkan diri semasa menggunakan pakej. Ia juga memberi tindak balas bersesuaian mengikut kehendak pengguna. Kandungan pakej ini telah dibuat mengikut Sukatan Pelajaran Matematik KBSM di negara kita. Pakej ini menyediakan nota-nota ringkas serta latihan bagi memperkukuh minda pe]ajar-pelajar yang menggunakan pakej dari semasa ke semasa mengikut topik tertentu. Di samping itu, sudut latihan juga disediakan untuk membolehkan pelajar mempraktiks sendiri dengan mengubahsuai ciri-ciri geometry asas yang sedia ada atau penghasilan lukisan geometri dari pakej ini.Metadologi yang digunakan untuk pembangunan perisian ini adalah Pendekatan Unified. Model ini dipilih sebab ia adalah berpandukan use-case (use-case driven) dan tertumpu kepada senibina sistem ( Architecture-centric). Rekabentuk antaramuka sistem adalah berdasarkan prinsip mesra pengguna memandangkan pengguna sasarnn adalah pelajar-pelajar sekolah rendah yang berumur 10-12 tahun.Proses implementasi dimulakan dengan pemasangan (installation) perisian yang diperlukan untuk pembangunnan sistem. Ini termasuklah pemasangan JDK 1.3 .1 dan JCreator LE 2.0 dan pemastian konfigurasi perkakasan yang sepadan. Selepas itu, Proses pengekodan dimulakan. Kaedah pengekodan dijalankan dengan mengikut algoritma dan beberapa kaedah piawaian yang baik supaya memudahkan proses penyelenggaraan pada masa depan. Selepas pengimplementasi selesai dijalankan, proses pengujian dijalan. Pengujian dijalankan secara berperingkat. Jenis-jenis pengujian yang dijalankan termasuklah pengujian unit, pengujian modul, pengujian integrasi, pengujian sistem dan pengujian penerimaan. Perancangan pengujian harus dijalankan untuk menjamin kelancaran proses. Penyelenggaraan juga diperlukan selepas proses pengujian. Penilaian dijalankan pada pengakhiran pembangunan sistem. Kekuatan dan kekurangan sistem dinilai di mana kebaikan dikekalkan dan kekurangannya harus diperbaiki pada masa depan. Cadangan-cadangan terhadap projek juga dibincangkan.     Impact of Carboxyl Groups in Graphene Oxide on Chemoselective Alcohol Oxidation with Ultra-Low Carbocatalyst Loading

    A highly efficient and simple chemoselective aerobic oxidation of primary alcohols to either aldehydes or carboxylic acids in the presence of nitric acid was developed, utilising 5 wt% graphene oxide as a carbocatalyst under ambient reaction conditions. Carboxylic acid functional groups on graphene oxides played a vital role in carbocatalyst activity, greatly influencing both the reactivity and selectivity. We also applied this protocol to a variant of the Knoevenagel condensation for primary alcohols and malonates with a secondary amine co-catalyst via cooperative catalysis. © The Author(s) 20172211sciescopu

    Integration of electrodeposited PdNi alloys with silicon and carbon nanotube electronics

    This thesis investigates the electrodeposition of PdNi films with controllable composition and their suitability as electrical contacts in electronic and spintronic devices based on Silicon and Carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The electrodeposition process and characterisation of the electrical and magnetic properties of the deposited PdNi films are described. PdNi films with a wide composition range can be deposited from the same bath by changing the deposition potential. Electrical characterisation shows the formation of high quality PdNi-Si Schottky barriers while magnetic measurements prove the ferromagnetic nature of the PdNi films. Electrodeposited PdNi films are thus shown to be suitable contacts for electronic and spintronic devices.Hydrogen sensors comprising back to back electrodeposited PdNi-Si Schottky barriers are fabricated and characterised. The back to back architecture ensures low current operation at all biases. Palladium causes the Hydrogen molecules to dissociate and be absorbed by the film, while Nickel makes the sensor resistant to repeated cycling in the Hydrogen environment. The sensors exhibit extremely low idle currents, large percentage current increases on Hydrogen exposure and high selectivity for Hydrogen. These factors, in addition to the simplicity of fabrication and easy integration with conventional electronics show that electrodeposited PdNi-Si Schottky barriers are well suited for use as Hydrogen sensors.The workfunction change in PdNi films exposed to Hydrogen is used to characterise CNTs contacted by electrodeposited PdNi. The PdNi contacted CNTs exhibit ohmic characteristics, which change on exposure to Hydrogen. Examining this change allows differentiation between semiconducting and metallic CNTs. Raman spectroscopy is used to characterise the same CNTs and the results are compared with the electrical characterisation in Hydrogen. The electrical and Raman analysis experimentally verify the theoreticallyassigned CNT Raman features.The fabrication and electrical characterisation of CNT transistors incorporating electrodeposited PdNi contacts are presented. The CNTs are spin coated from a 1,2-dichlorobenzene dispersion and contacted with electrodeposited PdNi. The PdNi-Si Schottky barrier is used to suppress the current through the Silicon substrate during electrical characterisation. The operating restrictions imposed by the direct PdNi-Si contact and methods to overcome the same are discussed.
