Esri Malaysia Sdn Bhd. / Hanis Haziera Hashim
Esri Malaysia Sdn Bhd is Malaysia's sole distributor of Esri GIS software products and services more than one thousand of the country’s leading government agencies and commercial enterprises. In this case study, it is focus on the ArcGIS desktop software which is the foundational piece of the ArcGIS platform for GIS professionals. The product was identified, investigated and analysed along to find the problems and come out with suitable solution for the product innovation. The first problem is the unfriendly and complicated interface likes toolbar interface will really takes time to learn and be familiar for the inexperienced users. It was many processing tools in GIS software and the users need to dig up to reach the desired tools. So, the simpler interface with systematic tools arrangement needs to be consider by a GIS software developer. The second problem is software crash which is suddenly not responding and stop working. Generally, the software crash is depending on the computer capabilities and the system. Thus, the developer should take an account the mitigating measure for the problem that will be occur. Esri Malaysia need to develop a tool to automatically check and monitor the system which is critical tool to prevent software crashes and mistakes. All of these problems and solutions were considered to help Esri Malaysia in developing high quality product in order to maintain their good reputation. May GIS desktop software was proposed as a new product with an additional system and function that suitable for GIS desktop software. The proposed GIS software will be design by using ribbon and equipped with the auto save, auto recovery and data backup system just like how Microsoft and AutoCAD did to their software. This product is an easy understand software with the data loss prevention. So, the users do not need to be worry about working with GIS application and their works anymore with May GIS software because it provides a platform to getting up and running with GIS technology
Effects of Academic Quality and Service Quality on University Students’ Satisfaction/ Hanis Aqilah Rusnipa ... [et al.]
This study was conducted on the premise that Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) with strong reputation have superior market positions in the higher education sector. It empirically examined academic quality, service quality, and student's satisfaction in the context of HEIs. The investigation was conducted using quantitative research. Four hundred twenty-six questionnaires were collected from students in public and private HEIs in Klang Valley. Correlation analysis and multiple regression were used to analyze the influence of variables and hypotheses testing for the study. The findings showed a significant relationship between academic quality and service quality with students' satisfaction. The results show that HEIs should continue to reinvest in their resources and skills to ensure that their institutions are in a better position to meet the needs of their students and, at the same time, improve the branding and reputation of their institutions. Future studies should include other factors that may influence HEIs’ reputations (both positively and negatively). The findings may provide valuable guidelines to Malaysian HEIs in improving specific areas of academics quality and service quality

Synchronizing Audio and Haptic to Read Webpage
Constantly emerging technologies present new interactive ways to convey
information on the Web. The new and enhanced website design has gradually
improved sighted users‟ understanding on the Web content but on the other hand,
it creates more obstacles to the visually impaired. The significant technological
gap in assistive technology and the Web presents on-going challenges to
maintain web accessibility, especially for disabled users. The limitations of
current assistive technology to convey non-textual information including text
attributes such as bold, underline, and italic from the Web further restrict the
visually impaired from acquiring comprehensive understanding of the Web
content. This project addresses this issues by investigating the problems faced by
the visually impaired when using the current assistive technology. The
significance of text attributes to support accessibility and improve understanding
of the Web content is also being studied. For this purpose several qualitative and
quantitative data collection methods are adopted to test the hypotheses. The
project also examines the relationship between multimodal technology using
audio and haptic modalities and the mental model generated by the visually
impaired while accessing webpage. The findings are then used as a framework
to develop a system that synchronizes audio and haptic to read webpages and
represents text attributes to visually impaired users is to be develop. From the
prototype built, pilot testing and user testing are conducted to evaluate the
system. The result and recommendations are shared at the end of project for
future enhancement
Design and implementation of A 2.4GHZ portable active rfid reader system in multi-hop wireless sensor network for indoor tracking
Warehouse's workers are found to have consumed more time in order to configure the location of the stored products. A quality control for each stock product which has a limited shelf life is lacking as well as present in over-stocking a product. Due to these issues, a portable 2.4GHz active RFID reader system is implemented to overcome the problem. This would be achieved by fulfilling the objectives of the purposed project: To develop a portable 2.4GHz active RFID reader for warehouse management system, to implement it in a real environment and to analyze the performance of the develop system in terms of distance, latency, RSSI and tag collection time. There will be three parts: Monitoring station, RFID reader and RFID tag. Monitoring zone is where the RFID connects to a computer that will display the received data. RFID reader acts as a transceiver which receives and transmits data from RFID tag to the monitoring zone and also may be placed in different positions within the warehouse for providing a continuous inventory control. RFID tag is where the RFID attaches to the product that will transmit its data of the assigned product's information to the RFID reader. The key equipment to receive and send radio signals from RFID tag to the monitoring zone of the purpose work is by using XCTU and Arduino IDE softwares, XBee modules, Arduino boards and power supply. RF module that works on XBee standard (IEEE 802.15.4) will require a development of connection and programming according to its platform. The communication between XBee modules uses an AT command. From the performance analyzation of range test, local RSSI value at Coor-Tx (-68dBm) has better signal strength than Rx-Tag (-72dBm). Meanwhile for latency test, Tx-Coor (3.65Kbps) has a faster average transfer ratio than Tag-Rx (4.28Kbps). Both analyzation show packet lost, thus sending non-reasonable amount of packets by the RFID tag may result in lost of packet

Sikap Guru Sejarah Terhadap Kemahiran Pemikiran Sejarah (KPS)
