    Dua cakupan kajian dalam studi kurikulum yaitu pengembangan kurikulum dan studi terkait kurikulum. Belum banyak dilakukan mengenai studi kurikulum terutama pemikiran tokoh kurikulum di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, mengangkat mengenai pemikiran Said Hamid Hasan sebagai guru besar di bidang pengembangan kurikulum dan pendidikan sejarah yang juga merupakan ketua pelaksana kurikulum 2013. Salahsatu alasannya karena keunikan kurikulum 2013 yang memiliki desain yang lain dari kurikulum sebelumnya. Selain itu, kurikulum 2013 diklaim merupakan kurikulum yang dibuat khusus untuk Indonesia. Sehingga pengembangan ide kurikulum tidak terlepas dari pembuat kurikulum itu sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui berbagai pemikiran Said hamid Hasan dalam bidang pengembangan Kurikulum, khususnya dalam pengembangan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk sarana dokumentasi pemikiran ahli kurikulum Indonesia terutama yang berkaitan dengan pembuatan kurikulum di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode naratif biografi. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai biografi intelektual S. Hamid Hasan. Ada beberapa konsep dari dasar pemikiran S. Hamid Hasan yang mempengaruhi bagaimana cara ia memandang kurikulum di antaranya adalah basis budaya, politik, dan pola sejarah. Posisi S. Hamid Hasan dalam pengembangan kurikulum di Indonesia cenderung cukup moderat mengawinkan antara hasil kurikulum yang sifatnya tradisional dan understanding curriculum

    The Development of Historical Instruction/Teaching Material in Senior High Schools Based on Local History with SOI Approach

    ABSTRACT Purpose: The purpose of this research is to develop more comprehensive model of historical instructional materials that is a model of local history-based teaching materials and oriented to local historical events. The method used in the development of historical instructional materials is Research and Development (R & D) approach. This research is to formulate a development model of teaching materials on Indonesian history with local history. So the appropriate method in this research is the R & D method/approach.The development of historical materials based on local history will give students an understanding of the historical values that occur in their environment so that the understanding level of historical values will more achieve the target in the historical learning objectives. Method: The method used in the development of historical instructional materials is Research and Development (R & D) approach. This research is to formulate a development model of teaching materials on Indonesian history with local history. So the appropriate method in this research is the R & D method/approach. Findings: The developed product is teaching materials about Indonesian history arranged on the concept of SOI (Selecting, Organizing, and Integrating.). The development of historical teaching materials with SOI begins with the gathering of local historical sources which are relevant to the national curriculum on the history subjects. The selection result based on the observations of historical objects and oral sources is combined with existing knowledge of history and sorted which is included in national curriculum. After the materials are selected/sorted then the next stage is to organize them which are suitable with material orders (basic competence) on nasional curriculum. The last stage before organizing the teaching materials is to combine the local history with national curriculum of history subjects into the historical teaching materials. The product of teaching materials is able to accommodate the materials of local history relating to the basic competence in the national curriculum

    Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd who has some thoughts related to the Qur'an is a contemporary Islamic critical thinker . He said that al Qur’an is a cultural product, this statement made him get under public criticism. However, besides that there are interesting things in the thought of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd when discussing gender issues including in terms of division of inheritance which according to the author has not been known to the public. The idea that carried Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd is what the author needs to describe conceptually. Research on Gender Deconstruction Perspective Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd was done in order to answer: 1) How is the Qur'an according to Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd? 2) How is the legacy in the Qur'an according to Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd? This paper would like to reconstruct the thoughts of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd on the Qur'an and the concept of justice in the inheritance. In order to reconstruct the thought of Nasr Hamid Abu Zayd, the author used theoretical hermeneutical of Schleirmacher’s. theory

    False Hope and Broken Promises: Jokowi's Human Rights Agenda - A Commentary

    Usman Hamid is the Chairperson of the Public Virtue Institute and Director of Amnesty International Indonesia. He is also a lecturer at the Indonesia Jentera School of Law, a human rights lawyer, and a member of the expert council at the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI-RBA). In 1998, as a student activist at Trisakti University, he became involved in protests that contributed to the fall of the Suharto regime. He subsequently became the coordinator of KontraS, the Commission for Missing Persons and Victims of Violence. In 2004, he was appointed to the Presidential Fact-Finding Team that investigated the murder of prominent human rights defender Munir Said Thalib. In 2011, he was appointed to the Presidential Unit for the Supervision of Development, where he reviewed Indonesia's National Human Rights Action Plan for 2011-2014. This commentary reflects on the unmet expectations of human rights improvements during President Jokowi's two terms in Indonesia. Written from his perspective of a long-time human rights activist, Usman Hamid critiques Jokowi's failure to address key human rights issues, including past violations, minority protections, and civil liberties, despite Jokowis early promises. The author combines personal experiences with an analysis of Jokowi's political compromises and their impact on Indonesia's declining human rights landscape
