    Islamic boarding schools based on the Koran have different learning models because it is a characteristic and it can affect the results of learning the Koran itself. The Madrasatul Qur'an Islamic boarding school Tebuireng Jombang has a Qur'anic learning model that is applied in three educational units in the pesantren, namely: the tahfidz unit, the school unit, and the majlis tarbiyah wa at ta'lim unit. The goal is that students not only memorize the Koran in lafadh, but can understand its meaning and be able to practice the teachings of the Koran itself. Based on the above background, the problems/focuses in this study are: 1) Al-Quran Learning Model in the tahfidh unit in the field of lafdhan 2) Al-Quran Learning Model in the ma'nan school unit 3) Al-Quran Learning Model in the majlis tarbiyah wa at ta' unit lim field of 'practice. This study states that the learning model of the Qur'an in the tahfidh unit in the field of lafdhan with qiraah muwahhadah, namely: classical fashahah, mudarasah, deposit and tasmi' so that students memorize 30 juz with qiraah muwahhadah standards and master the science of qiraah sab'ah. School units in the field of ma'nan with the bandongan model, namely: Classical, and general/halaqah stadiums so that students are able to understand and explore the contents of the Koran in terms of ma'nan. The majlis tarbiyah wa at-ta'lim unit in the field of 'practice through example', namely: ubudiyah habituation, and moral development karimah so that students have skills in developing talents, and are able to organize.

    Pemikiran Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari dalam masalah kebangsaan mempunyai pengaruh yang besar terhadap Indonesia, baik pada masa Indonesia masih jajahan maupun setelah kemerdekaan. Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari adalah sosok yang sangat cerdas dan berpengaruh. Penderitaan yang dialami masyarakat Indonesia dan pembatasan kebebasan menjalankan perintah keagamaan mendorongnya mengeluarkan dekrit tentang jihad melawan Belanda. Jihad berskala nasional yang dicanangkannya terbukti sangat ampuh membangkitkan semangat patriotik masyarakat, sehingga penjajah pun musnah dari tanah air ini. Jihad telah menjadi ikatan persatuan (unity) yang mampu menyentuh hati setiap umat Islam untuk melawan pemerintah Belanda. Salah satu karya unggulan dari kitab Hadratussyaikh KH M. Hasyim Asy'ari bertajuk Qonun Asasi, buku karya pendiri Nahdlatul Ulama ini berisi nasehat bagaimana warga NU (Indonesia) harus bersatu dan bersikap ketika menghadapi banyak permasalahan dan tantangan bersama. Fokus landasan dalam artikel ini, yaitu; bagaimana Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Kebangsaan Prespektif Kitab Qonun Asasi Karya Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari, Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan interpretif dan jenis penelitiannya pustaka (library research). Selanjutnya untuk teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis Deskriptif (deskriptif analysis) dan Isi (content analysis). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang didapatkan, memunculkan kesimpulan bahwa mendidik karakter cinta tanah air merupakan implementasi dari semboyan Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari, hubb al-wathan minal-iman. Hadratussyaikh KH. M. Hasyim Asy’ari akan membentuk karakter kebanggaan bangsa baik dari segi bahasa, budaya, masyarakat, politik dan ekonomi, sehingga rela berkorban untuk melindungi, membela dan memajukan negara. negara secara sadar, tanpa ada paksaan dari siapapun

    Interactive Multimedia-Based Learning Media in Tajwid Learning

    This study aims to examine the implementation of interactive multimedia-based learning media in Tajwid learning at MTs At-Taufiq Sambongdukuh Jombang. The background of this study is based on the low ability of students to read the Qur'an according to the rules of tajwid, and the learning method is still monotonous. The study used a mixed methods approach, with data collection through observation, interviews, documentation, and pretests and posttests. The results of the study showed that the use of interactive multimedia in the form of tajwid learning videos with animation, pronunciation audio, and interactive exercises was able to increase student learning motivation, active participation, and learning outcomes. This is indicated by an increase in the average value from 64.3 to 83.7 and an N-Gain value of 0.43, which is included in the moderate category. Students also stated that this media helped them understand the material more easily. Thus, interactive multimedia learning media have proven effective in improving the quality of tajwid learning as a whole at MTs At-Taufi

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
