No full textErzurum'un Tekman ilçesi termal kaynaklar bakımından büyük bir potansiyele sahiptir. İlçenin Çimenözü köyü yakınlarında toplam 15 lt/sn, debide ve sıcaklığı 44-58°C arasında değişen Kiğı Hamzan çermiği adıyla bilinen termal kaynaklar bulunmaktadır. Termal sular, kalsiyum ve sodyumca zengindir. Yalnızca romatizma, deri ve kadın hastalıkları gibi rahatsızlıkların tedavisinde kullanılan bu kaynaklar atıl bir vaziyettedir. Mevcut yapılar ilkel durumdadır. Ulaşım, konaklama ve güvenlik gibi çeşitli sorunları vardır. Gerekli çalışmalar yapıldığı taktirde kaynak sularından seracılık, mantar yetiştiriciliği, balıkçılık, kümes ve ahır ısıtması gibi daha birçok alanda yararlanmak mümkündür. Bu çalışmamızda jeotermal potansiyeli yüksek Kiğı Hamzan termal kaynakları konu alınmış, kaynakların oluşumu, fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikleri ve yapılması gerekenler belirtilerek, ilgililerin dikkati çekilmeye çalışılmıştır

Determination of types of solar bursts at range 150 MHz - 400 MHz / Najwa Hamzan.
Get PDFWe determine the types of solar bursts at range of 150 MHz till 400 MHz at low frequency region. The bursts occurred on 9th March 2012 at National Space Centre, Sg. Lang, Selangor, Malaysia. The chronology dynamical structure of solar bursts due to solar flares and Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) such as type II, III, U, IV and narrowband spikes (decimeter wavelengths) will be highlighted. Observation has shown that solar flare type M6.3 which occurred at active region AR 1429 starting from 3:32 UT and ending at 5:00 UT. This flare has confirmed to be the largest flare since 2005. Some physical parameter such as frequency drift (shock wave speed) also is measured. We then compare our results with X- ray data from NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC)

No full textNowadays, there are online car reservations which give much benefit to user. The
existing of this online system, can. overcome the problem of availability and provide
convenience to. the user in renting, car. Yet users still need more convenience system
such as helping them in recommending car to be rent based on their specific
requirements. Data matching technique is applied to the system to fulfill their needs.
The system will match the data entered by users to advice or recommend car to be
rented. The data includes the user budget, number of passenger and distance.
However, user may choose either to accept the recommendation or they can view the
car catalogue provided by the system to choose by their own. They can select their
preferred car from the car catalogue. Reservation can be done through online and
users have to come to the service center to make payment and pick the reserved car.
This system is functioned in retrieving, creating, updating and deleting the data or
information depends on the security level and allows the organization to search user
information from the database based on their identification card number. Besides
that, this system may produce reports such as payment receipt, renting information
and statistics of car renting by year, month, or week. The finding of this project is
the web-based car rental system with recommended car to be rent and the output that
will produce the information by following the user requirements. In conclusion, the
system may need some enhancement and improvement in the fixture

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
