Ilmu nahwu terbagi menjadi beberapa bagian.

On the spatial and temporal coherence of wireless vehicular short range channels
We consider spatial and temporal coherence of the vehicle–to–vehicle (V2V) wireless communication channel with focus on a suburban residential highway. The dominant reflectors in such an environment are vehicles passing in the adjacent lane and houses
along the road. Instead of treating the reflectors as point targets, the V2V short range propagation environment requires partitioning of the illuminated reflector side into
sufficiently small tiles. The channel transfer function is obtained as a superposition of specular reflections from the tiles, the line–of–sight (LOS) component, and the ground reflection. The tile size is selected to ensure that the ratio of the tile area to the tile–to–receiver distance satisfies the far field conditions. The reflected power is described by the tile radar cross section (RCS). The bistatic physical optics RCS model is adapted to account for the tile’s orientation with respect to the ray geometry. We apply the superposition model to the numerical analysis of two general scenarios
for a 22MHz channel in the 2.4GHz band. The first scenario considers a single vehicle reflector passing in the lane adjacent to the V2V communication pair. Both the vector network analyzer (VNA) experiments and the tiling model analysis illustrate that repositioning of the reflector, the transmitter, or the receiver by a few centimeters results in change of the signal power by several decibels. The second scenario analysis characterizes the channel coherence statistics for the
suburban residential highway. We consider the V2V single lane LOS and non–LOS geometries, where in the latter the receiver is shadowed by a large vehicle. The reflectors are both houses and vehicles passing in the opposite direction. The measure of channel coherence is the normalized spatial covariance calculated by correlating transfer functions corresponding to feasible receiver position pairs and performing spatial smoothing. The area of feasible receiver positions is divided into contiguous squares
whose size ensures wide sense quasi–stationarity within the square. Irrespective of direction the correlation remains high and a typical sedan roof usually does not provide sufficient spacing to obtain average inter–antenna correlation lower than 0.5. The upper bound on coherence time extends over the transmission time of multiple packets for systems in the considered band, and does not allow for usable time diversity.Ph.D.Includes bibliographical referencesIncludes vitaby Haris Krem
Community Influences on Schooling and Work Activity of Youth in Pakistan
The schooling and work activities of youth remain fundamental to their human capital development. Yet we have limited understanding of factors influencing these activities in Pakistan and elsewhere. The bulk of research on children’s work and schooling looks primarily to household-level factors to explain current rates. As such, activities’ of youth are viewed as a product of family strategies for confronting poverty. On the other hand, the influences at the community level on work and schooling of youth have received relatively little attention and remain largely undeveloped in the literature. Further, work and schooling activities remain are usually investigated separately in the analyses. Most studies focus on either the work activities or schooling of youth, despite recent appeals to examine these activities simultaneously [DeGraff, Bilsborrow and Herrin (1993); Mahmood, Javaid and Baig (1994) and Weiner and Noman (1997)]. The purpose of this paper is to assess the participation of youth in work and schooling activities and the way household and community factors shape these activities. I address two central research questions in this paper. First, what is the distribution of Pakistani youth in work and schooling activities? Second, what factors influence the likelihood that youth engage in work and/or schooling? Particularly, what is the influence of community-level factors (specifically, availability of schools, wage returns to education, and infrastructure development) on the activities of youth?
Haris: An Advanced Autonomous Mobile Robot for Smart Parking Assistance
This paper presents Haris, an advanced autonomous mobile robot system for tracking the location of vehicles in crowded car parks using license plate recognition. The system employs simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) for autonomous navigation and precise mapping of the parking area, eliminating the need for GPS dependency. In addition, the system utilizes a sophisticated framework using computer vision techniques for object detection and automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) for reading and associating license plate numbers with location data. This information is subsequently synchronized with a back-end service and made accessible to users via a user-friendly mobile app, offering effortless vehicle location and alleviating congestion within the parking facility. The proposed system has the potential to improve the management of short-Term large outdoor parking areas in crowded places such as sports stadiums. Comparative study on calixarenes in drug encapsulation and delivery / Muhammad Syimir Ab Hamid, Mohd Haris Ridzuan Ooi and Ch’ng Pei Eng
Calixarene, a macrocyclic compound which was discovered as the by-product from the condensation of phenol-aldehyde, satisfied the requisite in the development of drug designing and synthesis of biological compound. Their basic molecular structure has high potential in molecule and ion recognition which allow maximum interaction between host molecules and guest molecules. The presence of hydrophobic cavities that hold the capability to hold small ion or molecules allow the encapsulation of guest drug. The potentials that calixarenes have shown in biomedical field through diversified the features and structures, give rise to wide application in drugs delivery. This paper reviews the applications of calixarenes in drug encapsulation and delivery
Fabrication of X-ray/Gamma-ray Detector by Growth of Microcolumnar CSI:Tl onto Silicon Photomultipliers
AbstractWe present a technique to fabricate high spatial resolution and cost-effective X-ray/gamma-ray detectors using silicon photomultipliers (SiPMs) and microcolumnar structured CsI:Tl scintillator. SiPMs were placed inside a vacuum chamber and physical vapor deposition was used to directly deposit CsI:Tl onto the active surface of SiPMs. This approach leads to improved light transport from the scintillation material to the photodetector due to minimal light loss and light spread. Devices made by this technique may be used for gamma- and X-ray photon counting and imaging. Scanning electron micrographs show highly oriented microcolumnar CsI:Tl structure orthogonal to the SiPMs’ surface. These microcolumnar structures are excellent for channeling scintillation light to the SiPM and provide sub-macro-pixel resolution. We report the performance characteristics of the resultant detector in terms of position sensitivity, optical crosstalk, and signal-to-noise ratio. The performance of the detector fabricated in this manner is evaluated against other methods of coupling CsI:Tl scintillators to SiPMs
