    The main problem in this study is the learning supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala and what is the review of Islamic education management regarding the learning supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala and to find out the management review of Islamic education regarding the learning supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala. The approach that the author uses in studying the title is qualitative by using a case study type of research at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala. The results showed that the learning supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala is the preparation of the supervision program, the implementation of the supervision program, the evaluation of the supervision program, the reporting of the supervision program, the follow-up of the supervision, and the development of supervision. An overview of Islamic education management on learning supervision strategies at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala is in accordance with Islamic education management because of the implementation of the supervision strategy at SDN 1 Banawa Kab. Donggala has used planning, organizing, actualizing, and controlling optimally based on local wisdom. The suggestion for this research is to carry out periodic supervision by educating, not dismissing. Furthermore, that SDN 1 Banawa is managed properly so that it is more trusted by the community and government

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1 ) menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dapat merepresentasikan beberapa set variabel pada peristiwa anak putus sekolah di Kecamatan Banawa Kabupaten Donggala dan 2) menganalisis variabel-variabel pembentuk faktor-faktor yang dapat menjelaskan peristiwa anak putus sekolah di Kecamatan Bonawa Kabupaten Donggala. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini dirancang untuk mengekstrak data (variabel) dan membentuk set variabel baru (faktor) yang dapat menjelaskan peristiwa anak putus sekolah dengan menggunakan teknik statistika “analisis faktor†melalui identifikasi sebanyak 20 variabel yang diduga dapat menjelaskan peristiwa anak putus sekolah pada sebanyak 82 sampel sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima faktor baru yang mampu menjelaskan peristiwa anak putus sekolah di wilayah studi. Kelima faktor baru ini merupakan hasil ekstraksi terhadap 19 variabel dan total 20 variabel yang dianalisis. Dan 20 variabel yang dianalisis, terdapat 1 variabel yang tidak memenuhi syarat menjadi anggota dan lima faktor baru yang terbentuk karena variabel ini memiliki loading factor yang lebih kecil dan cut-off  yang ditentukan yaitu 0,5. Kelima faktor ini terdiri dari: 1) faktor ekonomi, memiliki lima variabel pembentuk: pendidikan orang tua (X4), kondisi rumah (X12), kepemilikan rumah (X13), pendapatan orang tua (X14); dan jarak rumah ke sekolah (X15); 2) faktor kapasitas anak, memiliki empat variabel pembentuk: minat anak (X5), kemampuan anak (X6), kegiatan anak sehari-hari (X16), dan fasilitas belajar (X20); 3) faktor lingkungan, memiliki empat variabel pembentuk: pemberian beasiswa (X9), hubungan anak dengan teman bermainnya (X17), dukungan orang tua (X18), dan sarana-prasarana sekolah (X19); 4) faktor demografi, memiliki empat variabel pembentuk: jenis kelamin (X1), jumlah anggota keluarga (X2), umur orang tua (X3), status orang tua (X7); dan 5) faktor kondisi sekolah, memiliki dua variabel pembentuk: variabel biaya sekolah (X8) dan variabel fasilitas sekolah (X10). Berdasarkan hasil analisis ini, secara ringkas kelima faktor tersebut terbukti dapat menjelaskan terjadinya peristiwa anak putus sekolah di Kecamatan Banawa Kabupaten Donggala

    Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

    The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed.     “Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk a) Menjelaskan Peran Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam Terhadap Peningkatan Prestasi Belajar Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa SMP Negeri 4 Totikum. b) Menjelaskan Tinjauan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Terkait Peran Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru Terhadap Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Islam Siswa SMP Negeri 4 Totikum. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Guru pendidikan agama Islam telah memahami dan menunjukkan ciri-ciri kepribadian yang baik dalam pelaksanaan tugas dan kewajiban sehari-hari. Peran kepribadian guru memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam di SMP Negeri 4 Totikum yang dapat dilihat dari prestasi dan hasil belajar yang dicapai siswa setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran dimana siswa memperoleh nilai di atas rata-rata.  Siswa mengagumi guru pendidikan agama Islam karena guru memiliki kepribadian yang menyenangkan, yang terlihat dalam ucapan, perilaku, dan metode pengajarannya. Berdasarkan tinjauan manajemen pendidikan Islam terkait peranan kompetensi kepribadian guru, manajemen yang dilakukan telah sesuai dengan manajemen pendidikan Islam.     This research is motivated by the success that the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Tolitoli has in carrying out academic supervision of the head of the madrasa, especially on the performance of teachers at MAN Tolitoli, in this regard researchers are interested in conducting research on the Implementation of Academic Supervision by the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Tolitoli. The research was carried out at MAN Tolitoli by distributing questionnaires to all teachers at MAN Tolitoli as many as 58. The research questionnaire used was validated using expert judgment techniques. Data from the questionnaire was processed quantitatively with the percentage technique. The results showed that the head of MAN Tolitoli had carried out academic supervision tasks. Of all the tasks, the task of motivating teachers to use information technology in learning in each subject is the task that has the highest implementation. On the other hand, the task with the lowest implementation is to guide the teacher in compiling the syllabus for each subject in accordance with the applicable curriculum. Thus, the implementation of academic supervision of madrasah principals in several areas still needs to be improved

    Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis

    We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.     Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

    We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more sophisticated methods
