This study aims to determine the nutrient content of Brachiaria ruziziensis which fertilized by pig fermented compost. The research was conducted at the Goat Farm Research Station Sei Putih, Subdistrict Galang, Lubuk Pakam, North Sumatra, from September 2015 through January 2016 and was using 36 Brachiaria ruziziensis plot. The design used in this research was split plot design (plots divided) with mainplot is interval defoliation AI (interval defoliation 40 days), A2 (interval defoliation 50 days), A3 (interval defoliation 60 days) and the subplot was dosage of fertilizer P0 (control), P1 (10 tons/ha), P2 (20 ton/ha) and P3 (30 tons/ha). The parameters studied were dry matter, crude protein, crude fiber and crude lipid. The results showed that dosage significantly (P<0.05) increased dry matter, crude protein and crude fiber and different the defoliation interval factor significantly (P<0.05) increased crude protein. While Both factors influence is not significantly different on coarse fat . The conclusion of this study the best dosage to fertilized ruzi forage (Brachiaria ruziziensis) is 30 tons/ha/year) and the defoliation interval factor is 40 days.67 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

Goat eating behavior estuary can support nutrition of goat feed. This information is important for farmers in an attempt to condition the environment and design the appropriate management needs estuary goats. This research was conducted in July and August 2016. Livestock are used as many as 30 individuals. Behavioral observations eating performed on four groups, namely: group I (adult males and adult females with a ratio of 1: 9), Group II (adult males and adult females with a ratio of 1: 4), Group III (Young male 6 tails and females young or virgin 4 individuals) and group IV (tiller consists of 2 males and females tails 3 tails). Research methods One Zero with a 15 minute interval performed on at 08.00-12.00. The results showed higher feeding activity compared to activity of rumination, the group with the highest feeding activity in the estuary goat group saplings, rumination activity sedaangkan highest in the group of adult goat estuary64 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

This study aimed to test the reliability or accuracy of various types of tape measure and develop a model of the measuring tape and weight estimation formula based on cow size chest circumference Peranakan Ongole, cross Brahman cattle, Limousin Cattle, Cattle Bali and Aceh cattle. Research conducted at BPTU-HPT Indrapuri Aceh, Desa Tanah Raja Sei Rampah Bedagai Serdang, Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS), Livestock People in Tanjung Morawa Serdang Bedagai, and Livestock of the people in the village of Big Two Falls Pantai Cermin District Serdang Bedagai , The research was conducted from May to September 2015. The tape measure used in this study is the measuring tape Agrotech, Animeter and Rondo, then use a formula Schoorl and Smith as a comparison, as well as using a simple correlation analysis in testing research data. The result showed that the estimation of body weight for cattle crossbreed ongole, Brahman cross cattle, cows limousines, bali cattle and cattle Aceh using a measuring tape Agrotech, Animeter and Rondo obtained deviation of 30.03% for male cattle and 16.23% for livestock female. Conclusion estimation of body weight that comes closest to the ongole crossbreed cattle, Brahman cross cattle, cows limousines, bali cattle and cows Aceh is using a regression formula, namely for male animals Y = - 405.70 + 4,33X and for female animals Y = - 448.64 + 4,72X.71 HalamanSkripsi Sarjan

Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis

The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
