Alley Cropping Meningkatkan Resiliensi Produksi Pertanian Pada Lahan Kering (A Review)
Lahan kering merupakan sumber daya alam yang mempunyai peluang besar untuk dimanfaatkan secara optimal. Pengelolaan lahan kering (terutama yang berlereng terjal) harus disertai dengan kaidah-kaidah teknik konservasi yang cocok dan sesuai dengan kondisi petani. Oleh karena itu teknik konservasi yang diintroduksikan haruslah teknik konservasi yang efektif mengendalikan erosi, murah dan mudah diterapkan serta dapat diterima oleh petani. Salah satu teknologi yang tersedia adalah sistem pertanaman lorong (Alley cropping). Tulisan ini membahas tentang potensi sistem alley cropping dalam meningkatkan resiliensi produksi pertanian pada lahan kering berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian tentang: (1) daur ulang hara dan kemampuan tanah menyimpan air, (2) efektivitas pengendalian erosi, (3)pengurangan kehilangan hara akibat pencucian, (4) peningkatan produktivitas tanah dan tanaman, (3) analisis ekonomi, (6) peluang dan adopsi. Dengan memperhatikan berbagai keunggulan, nilai ekonomi, peluang pengembangan dan adopsinya maka Alley cropping mempunyai potensi besar untuk meningkatkan resiliensi produksi pertanian pada lahan kering
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
The present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
We provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Pengaruh Jarak Tanam dan Jenis Pupuk Kandang Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Kacang Hijau (Vigna radiata L.)
The growth and production of green bean plants can be increased by improving the right cultivation techniques, namely the treatment of spacing and improving soil fertility by applying manure. This study aims to determine the spacing and type of manure as well as their interactions with the growth and production of green bean plants. This research was conducted in Kassi-Kassi Hamlet, Toddopulia Village, Tanralili District, Maros Regency. The time used in this study started from May to August 2022. This study used a factorial design method with a basic randomized block design , with 9 treatment combinations and repeated 3 times so that there were 27 units with the first factor, namely the application of distance plant 20x20, 20x30, 20x40 cm and the second factor is the application of chicken manure, cow manure and goat manure. The results showed that the spacing of 20x40 cm had a significant effect on plant height (102.89 cm) and flowering time (128.33 dap). While the application of chicken manure had a significant effect on the growth of the number of leaves (63.33 strands)
Pengaturan Waktu Penyerbukan dan Kuantitas Serbuk Sari terhadap Produksi dan Mutu Fisiologis Benih Labu Kuning
Potensi hasil suatu varietas unggul salah satunya ditentukan oleh kualitas benih yang digunakan. Untuk menghasilkan produk hortikultura yang bermutu prima dibutuhkan benih bermutu tinggi, yaitu benih yang mampu mengekspresikan sifat-sifat unggul dari varietas yang diwakilinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh waktu penyerbukan, kuantitas serbuk sari dan interaksi antara waktu penyerbukan dan kuantitas serbuk sari pada produksi dan mutu fisiologis benih labu kuning yang baik. Penelitian ini dilaksanaan di Desa Talamangape dan di laboratorium pengujian mutu benih UPTD Balai Pengawasan dan Sertifikasi Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura di Kabupaten Maros yang berlangsung pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Faktorial dua faktor dalam RAK dengan 9 kombinasi perlakuan yang terdiri dari 3 ulangan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh waktu penyerbukan pukul 06.00-07.00 dan kuantitas 100 % serbuk sari pada produksi dan mutu fisiologis benih labu kuning memberikan hasil terbaik pada jumlah biji perbuah, jumlah biji pertanaman, berat biji pertanaman, kecepatan berkecambah dan persentase daya kecambah Pengaruh 100% serbuk sari pada produksi benih labu memberikan hasil terbaik pada jumlah buah pertanaman, jumlah biji perbuah, jumlah biji pertanaman dan berat biji pertanaman. Terdapat interaksi antara penyerbukan pukul 06.00-07.00 dengan 50% serbuk sari yang dapat meningkat jumlah dan berat biji labu per tanaman
Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
We conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
