Im vorliegenden Aufsatz erfolgt eine Auseinandersetzung mit jenem Teil aus Wilfried Datlers Beitrag „Ist die Universität der rechte Ort für Psychotherapieausbildung und Psychotherapieforschung? Eine Replik auf Bernd Riekens ‚Überlegungen zur Akademisierung der Psychotherapie – am Beispiel der Sigmund-Freud-Privatuniversität Wien‘ unter Berücksichtigung weiterer einschlägiger Veröffentlichungen“ in der Zeitschrift für Individualpsychologie 2/2015, welcher in meiner Antwort an Wilfried Datler in der Zeitschrift für Individualpsychologie 3/2016 nicht angesprochen wird. Thematisiert werden der Trennungsprozess zwischen der Individualpsychologie an der SFU und dem ÖVIP und die aus Sicht des Autors unterschiedlichen Positionen.In this paper a discussion takes place with that part of Wilfried Datlers article „Ist die Univer-sität der rechte Ort für Psychotherapieausbildung und Psychotherapieforschung? About the splitting within the Austrian Individual Psychology and the Training at the Sigmund Freud University: Review of a teacher of the first hour
In diesem Artikel wird im Rahmen einer aktuellen Diskussion auf die Spaltung innerhalb der österreichischen Individualpsychologie eingegangen, die seit 2006 offensichtlich ist. Dabei stehen sich eine Gruppe von Vorstandsmitgliedern des Österreichischen Vereins für Individualpsychologie sowie Angehörige eines Teams von Lehrenden an einer Privatuniversität, der Sigmund-Freud-Privatuniversität (SFU), gegenüber. Diese Entwicklung wird vom Autor, der in diesen Konflikt von Anfang an involviert war, bedauert, und es wird dargestellt, was von der Seite des SFU-Teams alles versucht wurde, um diese Spaltung zu verhindern. In this article a recent discussion on the splitting within the Austrian individual psychology will be discussed in the context that is obvious since of 2006. In this situation a group of directors of the Austrian Society for Individual Psychology as well as some members of a team of teachers at a private university, the Sigmund Freud University (SFU), opposite each other. The author, who was involved in this conflict from the onset, regrets this development and it is shown from the side of the SFU, what all was tried to prevent this split
Sigmund A. Cohn / Suzanne Lewy Cohn Collection 1837-1997
The collection consists predominantly of correspondence between Sigmund A. Cohn and his parents, his letters to various public and private agencies in an unsuccesful attempt to get his parents out of Germany as well as correspondence related to obtain restitution. Included in the collection are genealogical papers, autobiographies of various family members, and documents related to Sigmund A. Cohn's studies and work.Sigmund Albert Cohn (June 6, 1898 - March 14, 1997), Professor of Law at the University of Georgia, was born in Breslau, Germany. He studied law and economics at the University of Breslau, where he was awarded the law degree 'magna cum laude' in 1921. After serving his legal apprenticeship he joined the Department of Justice in Berlin and was appointed as a lifetime judge in 1921. He married Suzanne Lewy (born November 23, 1902, Breslau, died August 1987, Athens, Georgia) in 1925. In 1933 he was ousted from his position, when Hitler's racial decrees removed Jewish public servants. Therefore the Cohn family emigrated to Genoa, Italy, where Sigmund Cohn earned a doctor of jurisprudence with high honors in 1934. Subsequently he affiliated with a law practice and became an assistant to the chair of economics at the University of Genoa. The Cohn family was forced to emigrate again, when Mussolini, having joined with the Axis, instituted Hitler's racial decrees in Italy. Knowing the obstacles to obtaining a visa to enter the United States, Sigmund Cohn initially obtained visas enabling his family to emigrate to Colombia, South America or Costa Rica. At the same time he applied to numerous American colleges and universities for a teaching position which, if secured, would enable immigration to the US outside of the strictures of American immigration laws. He succeeded in obtaining an assistant professorship in languages at the University of Georgia. 1939 Sigmund Cohn came to Athens, Georgia, with his wife Susan and his two daughters, Eva and Marianne. Sigmund Cohn taught Italian, German, and Spanish courses at the University of Georgia until 1944, when he became an assistant professor at the law school.He became a full professor in 1947. He taught a variety of commercial law courses and initiated courses in international law. Along with Prof. Robert Leavell, Dr. Cohn played a central role in the recodification of Georgia's corporations law in the 1960s. He retired in 1964. In the early 1930s Sigmund Cohn co-authored two German books commenting on aspects of German law. Can Love be a sin? About Love and Sexuality in psychotherapy training
Nach Abschluss des individualpsychologischen Fachspezifikums hatte die Autorin einerseits das Gefühl nicht genügend auf die erotische und sexuelle Übertragung/Gegenübertragung, die Verliebtheit im Therapiesetting und deren Umgang damit vorbereitet worden zu sein und andererseits dass diese Themen nicht in der gewünschten Tiefe in der Ausbildung behandelt worden sind.Ob diese Wahrnehmung mit AbsolventInnen und PsychotherapeutInnen i.A.u.S. der Individualpsychologie an der Sigmund Freud Universität geteilt wird oder nur der subjektiven Wahrnehmung der Autorin zugrunde lag, galt es in ihrer Abschlussarbeit herauszufinden. Das konkrete Ziel der Forschung lässt sich auf die Beantwortung folgender Forschungsfrage zuspitzen: Wird man als angehender Therapeut bzw. angehende Therapeutin im Zuge der individualpsychologischen fachspezifischen Ausbildung auf die erotische und sexuelle Übertragung/Gegenübertragung und deren Handhabung vorbereitet? Mittels Fragebogen sowie Lehrbuch- und Lehrplananalyse wurde der Forschungsfrage auf den Grund gegangen.After having finished her University studies in individual psychology, the author still did not feel prepared for the erotic and sexual transference/countertransference between her and her patients nor had she any idea how to deal with them. She furthermore felt the importance of these topics to be handled in the desired thoroughness within the individual psychological training. Based on these findings, the author tried to find out in her thesis, whether her perception was shared with graduates and psychotherapists in training of individual psychology at Sigmund Freud University or only her subjective perception. Therefore the specific aim of the research can be put into the following research question: Do prospective therapists get prepared in the process of individual psychology-specific training to handle erotic and sexual transmission/countertransference in psychotherapeutic relationship? The research question was examined in a questionnaire as well as in textbook and curriculum analysis

En ocasió del cent cinquantè aniversari del naixement de Sigmund Freud, l'autora
va impartir una conferència per tal de commemorar aquesta efemèride. Així, es procedeix
a un estudi de la significació de l'educació en el pensament de Freud a partir de l'anàlisi
d'alguna de les seves obres més emblemàtiques. Altrament, es revisen, en la mateixa línia
psicoanalítica, les aportacions d'altres autors (Aichhorn), alhora que s'entra en diàleg
amb l'antropologia kantiana. Finalment, es traslladen les contribucions freudianes al
camp de la pedagogia social per tal que els educadors socials siguin conscients de la
importància que torna a tenir el subjecte en el discurs social actual.On the occasion of the one hundred and fiftieth anniversary of the birth
of Sigmund Freud, the author gave a conference to commemorate this event. He addresses
the significance of education in Freud's thought, based on the analysis of some of his
most emblematic works. He also reviews the contributions of other authors (Aichhorn)
in the same psychoanalytical line, and also enters into dialogue with Kantian anthropology.
Finally, Freud's contributions are transferred to the field of social pedagogy for
social educators to be aware of the importance that the subject is beginning to enjoy
again in the current social discourse
“One can still dream, after all” : Any signs of an omnipotence fantasy in the founder of individual psychology?
Träume und deren Deutung sind aus der Individualpsychologie nicht wegzudenken. Umso erstaunlicher scheint es, dass der Gründer der Individualpsychologie, Alfred Adler, nach einen für ihn bedrohlichen Traum beschließt, das Träumen aufzugeben. Im folgenden Beitrag erfolgt eine Traumdeutung von diesem Traum, den er während des Ersten Weltkrieges hatte und der ihn sehr belastete. Anhand des Traumes (und Adlers Reaktionen darauf) sowie zweier zusätzlicher ähnlicher Verhaltensweisen in seiner Kindheit wird der Versuch unternommen, eine seiner Lebenslinien herauszuarbeiten. Darauf folgen Überlegungen, ob Adler Allmachtsfantasien aufgrund seiner traumatischen (Kindheits-)Erfahrungen angestrebt hat.Dreams and the interpretations of dreams are meaningful and essential aspects of the Individual Psychology. Therefore it appears to have an amazingly impact, that Alfred Adler, the founder of the school of Individual Psychology, decides to abandon dreaming, after experiencing a threatening dream himself.
This article focuses on the interpretation of this momentous dream that Adler had during the First World War. Based on this dream and Adler’s reactions to it, as well as two additional quite similar behavior patterns in his childhood the author attempts to characterize one of Adler’s life guidelines. Thereafter the author presents considerations if Adler strived after godly almightiness or omnipotence due to his traumatic (childhood-) experiences
Religion in Sigmund Freud: Four Reading
O seguinte estudo propõe-se a estabelecer uma análise sobre a temática da religião na obra de Sigmund Freud. Nesse contexto, a pesquisa pretendeu elencar preferencialmente – de maneira cronológica – as principais leituras freudianas da religião a partir de quatro grandes incursões que autor faz sobre o tema em suas obras, que são: O artigo intitulado Os Atos Obsessivos e as Práticas Religiosas de 1907; Totem e Tabu de 1913; O Futuro de uma Ilusão de 1927; e Moisés e o Monoteísmo de 1939. Em suma, foi possível demonstrar que para o autor, a religião constitui apenas um estágio emocionalmente primitivo da humanidade da qual a mesma precisa superar.The study aimed to establish an analysis on the subject of religion in the work of Sigmund Freud. In this context, the research intended to list preferably - so chronological - the main Freudian readings of religion from four major inroads author makes about the subject in his works, which are: The article entitled The Obsessive Acts and Religious Practices of 1907 , Totem and Taboo, 1913, The Future of an Illusion, 1927, and Moses and Monotheism, 1939. In short, it was possible to demonstrate that the author is only one religion emotionally primitive stage of humanity from which it must overcome
Abjeção em Julia Kristeva: interlocuções com Sigmund Freud e George Bataille
In this article we seek to discuss the concept of “abjection”, as discussed in the work “Powers of Horror” by Julia Kristeva, an author whose thought is still not widespread in Brazil, which is why we propose to demonstrate the relevance of the author for philosophical studies and contemporary psychoanalytics, from the dialogue with Sigmund Freud and George Bataille. For that, first of all, we present the concept of "abjection", as developed by Kristeva in her work "Powers of Horror". Second, we present the interlocution made with Sigmund Freud, demonstrating how the concept of "abjection" can be understood as a phenomenon of uncanny and transitoriety. Finally, the approximations between Julia Kristeva and Georges Batailles are analyzed, based on the discussion of heterogeneity and sacrality as a state of “abjection".Neste artigo buscamos discutir o conceito de “abjeção”, conforme abordado na obra “Powers of Horror” de Julia Kristeva, autora cujo pensamento ainda é pouco difundido no Brasil, razão pela qual temos como proposta demonstrar a relevância da autora para os estudos filosóficos e psicanalíticos contemporâneos, a partir da interlocução feita com Sigmund Freud e George Bataille. Para tanto, em primeiro lugar, apresentamos o conceito de “abjeção”, conforme desenvolvido por Kristeva na sua obra “Powers of Horror”. Em segundo, apresentamos a interlocução feita com Sigmund Freud, demonstrando como o conceito de “abjeção” pode ser entendido como um fenômeno de estranhamento e transitoriedade. Por fim, são analisadas as aproximações entre Julia Kristeva e Georges Batailles, a partir da discussão da heterogeneidade e sacralidade como um estado de “abjeção"
