    Genre Originality of Creativity Nikolay Rubtsov: the Problem of the Interaction of Folklore and Literary Traditions

    No full text
    В статье рассмотрена жанровая специфика творчества Николая Рубцова: выявлены и определены основные подходы к проблеме жанра как одной из фундаментальных категорий, участвующих в формировании художественного метода поэта. Предпринят идейно-образный, стилистический и фонический анализ рубцовских песен («Зимняя песня», «Прощальная песня», «Осенняя песня»), частушек и элегий («Дорожная элегия», «Элегия (Отложу свою скудную пищу…»), стихотворений-баллад («Старая дорога», «Видения на холме») и поэма-сказка «Разбойник Ляля». Среди жанровых признаков обнаруживаются как фольклорные, так и литературные элементы, что позволяет говорить о синтетической природе жанровых форм поэзии Николая Рубцова.The article discusses the issue of genre and the specifics of the creative work of Nikolai Rubtsov. The genre is seen by the author as one of the fundamental categories involved in the for-mation of the poet's artistic method. Rubtsov's songs («Winter song», «Farewell song», «Autumn song») and ditties, elegies («Road Elegy», «Elegy (I will Put aside my meager food...»), poems-ballads («Old road», «Visions on the hill») and the poem-fairy tale «Robber Lyalya» are subjected to ideological-figurative, stylistic and phonic analysis. Among the genre features are found both folk and literary elements, resulting in the conclusion about the synthetic nature of genre forms of poetry of Nikolai Rubtsov

The emission spectra of rarified flame were recorded under static and flow conditions over the pressure range 0,550,5-5 Torr and 293393K293-393 K over the following intervals : SiO(A1X1)SiO(A^{1} - X^{1}) in the range 220-280 nm SiCl2(A1B1X1A1)SiCl_{2} (A^{1}B_{1} - X^{1}A_{1}) in the range 300380nmg300-380 nm^{g}; the continious emission caused by the blackbody radiation from the solid particles over 400nm. The intensive absorption in the range of 210-260 nm has been also observed under static conditions. The simultaneous recording of the mentioned intermediates as well as conductivity (revealed recentlybrecently^{b}) during the single ignition has been performed. The peaks of the signals are staggered in time. The first peak in time is SiCl2SiCl_{2} (coincident with SiO), the second is the absorption peak, the third is the visible emission coincident with conductivity peak. 10\% additives (to fuel) of SF6SF_{6} have a decreasing effect only on the absorption, visible emission and conductivity. It means that the absorbing intermediates contain Si-O bonds since SF6SF_{6} has influence mainly on aerosol formationcformation^{c}

    Quantum many-body adiabaticity, topological Thouless pump and driven impurity in a one-dimensional quantum fluid

    No full text
    The quantum adiabatic theorem states that a driven system can be kept arbitrarily close to the instantaneous eigenstate of its Hamiltonian if the latter varies in time slowly enough. When it comes to applying the adiabatic theorem in practice, the key question to be answered is how slow slowly enough is. This question can be an intricate one, especially for many-body systems, where the limits of slow driving and large system size may not commute. Recently we have shown how the quantum adiabaticity in many-body systems is related to the generalized orthogonality catastrophe [arXiv 1611.00663, to appear in Phys. Rev. Lett.]. We have proven a rigorous inequality relating these two phenomena and applied it to establish conditions for the quantized transport in the topological Thouless pump. In the present contribution we (i) review these developments and (ii) apply the inequality to establish the conditions for adiabaticity in a one-dimensional system consisting of a quantum fluid and an impurity particle pulled through the fluid by an external force. The latter analysis is vital for the correct quantitative description of the phenomenon of quasi-Bloch oscillations in a one-dimensional translation invariant impurity-fluid system.</p

    First constraints on the strength of the extragalactic magnetic field from γ\gamma-ray observations of GRB 221009A

    No full text
    The extragalactic magnetic field (EGMF) could be probed with γ\gamma-ray observations of distant sources. Primary very high energy (VHE) γ\gamma-rays from these sources absorb on extragalactic background light photons, and secondary electrons/positrons from the pair production acts create cascade γ\gamma-rays. These cascade γ\gamma-rays could be detected with space γ\gamma-ray telescopes such as Fermi-LAT. The γ\gamma-ray burst GRB 221009A was an exceptionally bright transient well suited for intergalactic γ\gamma-ray propagation studies. Using publicly-available Fermi-LAT data, we obtain upper limits on the spectrum of delayed emission from GRB 221009A during the time windows of 10, 30, and 90 days after the burst, and compare these with model spectra calculated for various EGMF strengths BB, obtaining constraints on BB. We show that the values of BB between 10^{-20} G and 10^{-18} G are excluded.Comment: 8 pages, 11 figures. Moderate changes w.r.t. v1. Accepted for publication in MNRAS Lett. Upper limit on the flux of photons with energies above 1019  eV using the Telescope Array surface detector

    No full text
    We search for ultra-high energy photons by analyzing geometrical properties of shower fronts of events registered by the Telescope Array surface detector. By making use of an event-by-event statistical method, we derive upper limits on the absolute flux of primary photons with energies above 1019, 1019.5, and 1020 eV based on the first three years of data taken. © 2013 American Physical Society.0SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

    Constraining the production of cosmic rays by pulsars

    No full text
    One of the possible sources of hadronic cosmic rays (CRs) are newborn pulsars. If this is indeed the case, they should feature diffusive gamma-ray halos produced by interactions of CRs with interstellar gas. In this paper we try to identify extended gamma-ray emission around young pulsars, making use of the 7-year Fermi-LAT data. For this purpose we select and analyze a set of eight pulsars that are most likely to possess detectable gamma-ray halos. We find extended emission that might be interpreted as a gamma-ray halo only in the case of PSR J0007 + 7303. Its luminosity accords with the total energy of injected cosmic rays similar to 10(50) erg, although other interpretations of this source are possible. Irrespectively of the nature of this source, we put bounds on the luminosity of gamma-ray halos which suggest that pulsars' contribution to the overall energy budget of galactic CRs is subdominant in the GeV-TeV range.LPP
