Get PDFCon la intención de detectar demandas e inquietudes en la población objetivo en el área de influencia de la Agencia de Extensión Rural INTA Gobernador Gregores con la finalidad de promover su atención desde proyectos institucionales, se realizó el pasado 27 de Mayo de 2015 un taller diagnóstico participativo. Para ello se utilizó como base las reflexiones y consideraciones esbozadas en el diagnóstico anterior y un breve resumen de las acciones institucionales realizas en el marco del Proyecto Regional con Enfoque Territorial, programas PROFEDER y programa Pro Huerta. A lo largo del proceso se trabajó con diversas metodologías coordinadas por un técnico de INTA de Los Antiguos y la Presidenta del Consejo Local Asesor Los Antiguos-Perito Moreno, con eventuales
aclaraciones de los técnicos locales. En términos generales se acordó entre las instituciones locales que participaron en el taller la
conformación de una mesa interinstitucional y común de trabajo, con el fin de discutir y proyectar acciones conjuntas de aquí y en adelante. Por su parte los productores locales centraron sus inquietudes y demandas en la necesidad de retomar algunos proyectos en su momento presentados como lo es la creación de un espacio físico para artesanos y pequeños productores, y la habilitación formal de las chacras para producción y venta de animales domésticos para consumo humano. A su vez, las políticas de incentivo a la producción y el sistema de distribución de agua para riego tomó central importancia en las reflexiones finales.EEA Santa CruzFil: Seeber, German Alejo. Pesquisa de Eimeria spp. en ovinos: primera notificación de Eimeria macusaniensis en la región de Gobernador Gregores, Santa Cruz, Argentina
Get PDFEl objetivo del presente trabajo fue evaluar la carga parasitaria por Eimeria spp., en ovinos de la región de Gobernador Gregores, Santa Cruz, Argentina. Para ello se muestrearon los rebaños pertenecientesa la Escuela Agropecuaria Nº1, Gobernador Gregores y un rebaño de un ganadero de la región. No se observó presencia de huevos de helmintos, en ninguno de los rebaños analizados. En la Escuela Agropecuaria Nº1,Gobernador Gregores, se observó un alto número (29.430) de ooquistes por gramo de material fecal, concordantes morfológicamente con Eimeria macusaniensis, coccidio propio de los camélidos. Sin embargo,en el rebaño del ganadero local se observó 20 veces menos la cantidad de este coccidio. Este es el primer informe de infestación de ovinos con esa especie de protozoo, en la zona estudiada.Palabras clave: guanaco, ovino, Eimeria macusaniensis.SURVEY OF EIMERIA SPP. IN SHEEP: FIRST NOTICE OF EIMERIA MACUSANIENSIS IN THE REGION OF GOVERNOR GREGORES, SANTA CRUZ, ARGENTINAABSTRACT: The aim of this study was to evaluate the parasite level by Eimeria spp. in sheep in the region of Governor Gregores, Santa Cruz, Argentina. The herds belonging to the Agricultural School No.1, Governor Gregores and a rancher of the region were sampled. There were not helminth observed eggs in any of the herds tested. At the Agricultural School No.1, Governor Gregores, there was observed a high number (29,430) of oocysts morphologically consistent with Eimeria macusaniensis, coccidia from camels. However, in the local livestock herd, the amount of this coccidia was 20 times less. This is the first report of sheep infestation with that species of protozoa in the studied area.Key words: guanaco, sheep, Eimeria macusaniensis
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
