N2, P3 and the lateralized readiness potential in a nogo task involving selective response priming
Motor inhibition and its correlates in the event-related potential (ERP) are often studied in go/nogo tasks. However, go and nogo trials differ in their motor and their attentional requirements, rendering an interpretation of corresponding changes in ERP components difficult. As an alternative strategy to study motor inhibition, a hybrid choice-reaction go/nogo procedure involving selective response priming was used. Eighteen subjects performed the task. Response time (RT) and error measures as well as the lateralized readiness potential (LRP) indicated that responses were primed by flanker stimuli that were associated with one of the two possible responses. In nogo trials, selective response priming influenced the N2 amplitude whereas the P3 amplitude was unaffected. Because the N2 appeared irrespective of whether an erroneous response was correctable (in go trials) or not (in nogo trials), we conclude that the N2 reflects either the detection or the inhibition of an inappropriate tendency to respond
Coprime ordering of cyclic planar difference sets
AbstractMotivated by a question about uniform dessins d’enfants, it is conjectured that every cyclic planar difference set of prime power order m≠4 can be cyclically ordered such that the difference of every pair of neighbouring elements is coprime to the module v≔m2+m+1. We prove that this is the case whenever the number ω(v) of different prime divisors of v is less than or equal to 3. To achieve this we consider a graph related to the difference set and show that it is Hamiltonian
Cultural representation of sexual dissent in comics: the "desired men" of Ralf König in Der bewegte Mann
In this article, the representation of sexual dissent in German author Ralf König will be adressed. The work analize the cycle Der bewegte Mann, consisting of two parts published in the eighties and that allows us to appreciate the emergence of the author in the german publishing, as well as its operations of resistance to the attempts of normalization and repression by heteronormativity.Fil: Saxe, Facundo. Sexuellen Dissidenz and Comic im Werk von Ralf König
Ralf König has been an author of an undeniable importance for the German comic since the 1980s. The programmatic and systematic approach to dissident sexuality in its most subversive aspects makes König's work a set of cultural texts that stand as some sort of "cultural histories" of the progressions of sexual dissidence in the last three decades in the European context. This article analyzes two works by Ralf König (Kondom des Grauens, 1987; Bis auf die Knochen, 1990) which constitute a cycle that allows us to ponder on the dialogue established by König's works with the HIV-AIDS crisis, gay pornography, violence and discrimination towards dissident sexualities, the influence of the queer movement and the American LGBTIQ collective in Germany, among other issues.Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educació
Eelco Visser - An Exceptional SLE Researcher
These notes honor Eelco Visser as an exceptional member of the Software Language Engineering (SLE) community. The notes are authored from the perspective of an SLE co-founder and a continuous SLE supporter. As an inevitable side effect, a short history of SLE is captured. The commemoration begins with Eelco’s role in launching the SLE conference. The commemoration continues with Eelco’s contributions as an author and his involvement with running the conference and working towards an SLE Body of Knowledge (SLEBoK). The commemoration ends with recalling Eelco’s role as the de-facto SLE photographer

The Death of the Legal Author: Authority, Intention, and Law-Creation in the Advent of GenAI
Generative artificial intelligence in the form of chatbots based on
large language models (LLMs) has taken the world of law by storm. Philosophy of
law is struggling to catch up with the theoretical significance of the advent of
technological development and the way it may modify traditionally established
understanding of legal phenomena, such as law-creation and authority. In this
sense, for the most part, heated philosophical debates have circled around a
normative question: ‘Should AI create and interpret law?’. Much less attention has
been given to a different, albeit previous, question: ‘Can AI create and interpret law?’
That is, is AI capable of producing outputs that can be deemed as ‘law’ (at least, law as
we know it)? Can AI be a ‘legal author’? This paper explores this unattended question
and endeavours to provide some provisional answers. In the first part, we define legal
authority, legal authorship, and legal interpretation and claim that the intention of a
determinate authoritative author is often considered the condition of the possibility
of creating and interpreting contemporary legal texts. In the second part, we argue
that LLM AI, in general, and ChatGPT, in particular, generate legal texts without
having any intention. In the third part, we consider the positions of the authors that
downplay or even eliminate intention from the discussions about the legal character
of prescriptive texts. 4. Finally, we argue that there are good reasons to side with the
second group of authors. The ability of agents without intentions, like ChatGPT, to
create legal text is an argument in favour of the thesis that law can be created without
intention behind the creation and that nonintentional creation can be interpreted to
arrive at legal norms
Procesual approach to health behaviour of Ralf Schwarzer (part of model) as a trial of explanation of prenatal negligence
The following article is focused on problem of prenatal negligence. The author defines prenatal negligence as that kind of woman behaviour which leads to injuries of fetus and threatens it’s health or life. The aim of following research is to contour the character of a phenomenon, it’s peculiarity and possible psychosocial determinants based on Ralf Schwarzer’s theories. The recognition of prenatal negligence may be helpful in reducing the problem of that phenomenon
