Entre "desabrochar para o mundo" e "produzir mais e melhor": relações de saber/poder em uma cooperativa de costureiras

Muitas pesquisas apontam para a possibilidade destes empreendimentos produzirem novas formas de relação com o trabalho privilegiando, para além da esfera econômica, o resgate da dimensão humana; enquanto outras pesquisas apontam as limitações desses empreendimentos no contexto capitalista. Dada a heterogeneidade destas experiências e a impossibilidade de compreendê-las fora de sua realidade concreta, o interesse desta pesquisa recai, a partir da análise foucaultiana, sobre a análise das relações cotidianas de saber/poder, observando como se constroem, circulam, se sustentam e, pela incitação recíproca, engendram modos de subjetivação. Neste sentido, o objeto da presente pesquisa foi "compreender como se caracterizam as relações de saber/poder em uma cooperativa inserida no movimento de economia solidária", a partir de um estudo de caso em uma cooperativa de costureiras na cidade de Chapecó, SC. Foram utilizados como procedimentos de pesquisa a observação participante, o grupo focal e o recurso fotográfico. As informações foram analisadas a partir da Análise de Discurso proposta por Iñiguez (2005). Em análise aos dados obtidos, constatou-se que o processo de gestão do trabalho cooperativo revela ambiguidades. De um lado, as possibilidades de participação das trabalhadoras se manifestam por meio da organização técnica do trabalho e da política geral do empreendimento, o que aponta para uma ligeira atenuação das forças de exploração. De outro, a intensificação do trabalho e a assimilação de normas disciplinares induzem a um sistema de individualização que, ao mesmo tempo em que modelam o sujeito, conduzem a processos de subjetivação, reforçando a hegemonia do capital. Nas relações cotidianas construídas está imbricado um constante jogo de forças e contradições, revelando-se como um emaranhado de situações que vinculam, simultaneamente, formas de sujeição e laços afetivos. Nesse cenário, são evidenciados lugares sociais construídos historicamente, os quais, legitimados pelo discurso, corroboram "estados de poder". Como forma de resistência e enfrentamento aos agenciamentos dos dispositivos de saber-poder são cunhadas linhas de fuga, garantindo não só novos modos de gestão do trabalho, mas também a manutenção de velhas práticas. Finalmente, o que se coloca em pauta é a possibilidade dos processos de subjetivação, engendrados no exercício das relações de saber/poder, no trabalho cooperativo, fomentar ou inverter as relações propostas pelo ideário da economia solidária.The cooperative practices connected to solidary economy movement have been target to constant debate and studies. Many researches guide to the possibility for these practices to produce new forms of relations with work, giving priviledge , beyond economic scope, to rescue the human dimension; white other researches point to the limitations of these practices in the capitalist environment. Due to the heterogeneity of these experiences and the impossibility to understand them, outside their concrete reality, the interest of such a research relays on the analysis of daily relations of knowledge/power, from a Foucaultian analysis, taking into account the way they are built, spread, supported and, by reciprocal induction, manage ways of subjectivity. Thus, the object to this research was to ¡°understand how the relations of knowledge/power are characterized inside a cooperative inserted in solidary economy movement¡±, from a case study in a cooperative of sawers in Chapeco (SC, Brazil). It was used research procedures such as participative observation, focal group and photography. Information was analyzed from Discourse Analysis, approached by Iniguez (2005). In the analysis of data obtained, it was possible to notice that the process of cooperative work management reveals two-side meanings. On one hand, the possibility of workers. participation has manifested by the technical organization of work and general politics of the enterprening, which leads to the diminish of exploration strength. On the other hand, the intensification of work and the understanding of disciplinar rules lead to a system of individualization that, together with modeling the subject, lead to subject process, reinforcing the capital hegemony. In every day relations it is inserted a contant game of strength and contradictions, revealing as a net of situation that link, simultaneously, ways of subjectivation and affection relations. In this scenario, social places historically built are evident, which, reinforced by the discourse, coopt ¡°power status¡±. As a form of resistance and facing the devices of knowledge-power, are built border lines, assuring not only the new forms of works management, but also keeping old practices. Finally, what is in discussion is the possibility of subject process, placed in the usage of knowledge-power relations, in the cooperative work, to support or to invert the relations proposed by the ideal of solidary economy
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used
