On the Aubin property of solution maps to parameterized variational systems with implicit constraints
No full textIn the paper, a new sufficient condition for the Aubin property to a class of parameterized variational systems is derived. In these systems, the constraints depend both on the parameter as well as on the decision variable itself and they include, e.g. parameter-dependent quasi-variational inequalities and implicit complementarity problems. The result is based on a general condition ensuring the Aubin property of implicitly defined multifunctions which employs the recently introduced notion of the directional limiting coderivative. Our final condition can be verified, however, without an explicit computation of these coderivatives. The procedure is illustrated by an example. © 2019, © 2019 The Author(s). No full textThe article presents the figure of Helmut E. Luck, well-known scientist in the world of historians of psychology. Helmut E. Luck also is well-known in Poland, as the author or the scientific editor of several books in the field of history of psychology. In the first part of the article the short presentation of his scientific career and his scientific achievements are demonstrated. The second part comprises the analysis of his opinions in the scope of social psychology. Helmut E. Luck was the one of pioneers in psychology, who paid attention to social positive phenomena or social positive behaviors. In the field of history of psychology, H.E.Luck made the contribution to methodological analysis of psychological ideas in history, preferring the model which underlines connection of psychology with culture and at the same time creates the opportunity to analysis of biographical plots. Radius theorems for subregularity in infinite dimensions
No full textThe paper continues our previous work (Dontchev et al. in Set-Valued Var Anal 28:451–473, 2020) on the radius of subregularity that was initiated by Asen Dontchev. We extend the results of (Dontchev et al. in Set-Valued Var Anal 28:451–473, 2020) to general Banach/Asplund spaces and to other classes of perturbations, and sharpen the coderivative tools used in the analysis of the robustness of well-posedness of mathematical problems and related regularity properties of mappings involved in the statements.
