EM BUSCA DA VOZ INDÍGENA NO ROMANCE NA SOMBRA DO MUNDO PERDIDO, DE ILKO MINEV
Get PDFThis work seeks to echo the indigenous voice and highlight the violence suffered by traditional peoples, highlighted in the novel In the Shadow of the Lost World, written by Jewish author Ilko Minev (2018). In this analysis, the study of the supportive witness (Gagnebin, 2006) and testimony (Seligmann-Silva, 2011) is considered. The novel tells the story of the Hazan couple, Jews who had recently arrived in Roraima, during the demarcation process of the Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land. The central perspective of the work is that of the white man, with noticeable signs of lack of compassion towards the other , the indigenous person (Seligmann-Silva, 2002), hidden at different moments in the plot. However, the voice of the original people and the violence to which they were subjected resonates. Their suffering is expressed by the narrator, who also reports on the Jewish presence in the Amazon (Silva, 2022), allowing us to pay attention to the details to open the box of suffering and let the voices of these victims and their anguish echo.Este trabalho buscar ecoar a voz indígena e pôr em relevo a violência sofrida pelos povos tradicionais, em destaque no romance Na Sombra do Mundo Perdido, escrito pelo autor judeu Ilko Minev (2018). Considera-se, nesta análise, o estudo da testemunha solidária (Gagnebin, 2006) e do testemunho (Seligmann-Silva, 2011). O romance narra à história do casal Hazan, judeus recém-chegados a Roraima, transcorrida durante o processo de demarcação da Terra Indígena Raposa Serra do Sol. A perspectiva central da obra é a do homem branco, sendo perceptíveis indícios de descompaixão para com o outro, o indígena (Seligmann-Silva, 2002), escamoteado em diferentes momentos do enredo. No entanto, ressoa a voz dos povos originários e a violência a que foram submetidos. O sofrimento deles é expresso pelo narrador, que também dá conta da presença judaica na Amazônia (Silva, 2022), permitindo-nos atentar aos detalhes para abrir a caixa do sofrimento e deixar ecoar a voz dessas vítimas e de suas angústias
