Get PDFIntroducción: La UNESCO declara que son escasas laas personas jóvenes que tienen una capacitación necesaria para desarrollar su vida sexual lo que le pone en condición vulnerabilidad ante gestaciones no planificadas, abortos y contraer infecciones que se transmiten por via sexual incluyendo VIH/SIDA.
Objetivo: Evaluar el grado de efectividad de una actividad de capacitación sobre conocimientos en sexualidad en los estudiantes del 3° al 5° de secundaria de la I. E. “Gabriel Ramos” de Ica en noviembre del 2017.
Material y métodos: Estudio de tipo Aplicada pues se evaluó la efectividad de una intervención educativa en sexualidad, sobre 60 alumnos, es de tipo longitudinal pues la variable es medida dos veces uno en el antes y otro en el despues, descriptiva, prospectiva.
Resultados: El grado de efectividad de una intervención educativa sobre salud sexual en los estudiantes del 3° al 5° de secundaria de la I. E. Gabriel Ramos de Ica en noviembre del 2017 es significativa. Mejorando hasta un 59.9%. El grado de efectividad de una intervención educativa sobre salud reproductiva en los estudiantes del 3° al 5° de secundaria de la I. E. Gabriel Ramos de Ica en noviembre del 2017 es significativa. Mejorando hasta un 28.3%. El grado de efectividad de una intervención educativa sobre sexualidad en los estudiantes del 3° al 5° de secundaria de la I. E. Gabriel Ramos de Ica en noviembre del 2017 es significativa. Mejorando hasta en un 44.9%.
Conclusiones: La Intervención Educativa sobre sexualidad es efectiva en los estudiantes del 3° al 5° de secundaria de la I. E. Gabriel Ramos de Ica

No full textLa adicción al internet constituye un serio problema que afecta con mayor predominio a la
población adolescente por el uso excesivo de redes sociales y videojuegos online, ocasionando
cuadros de ansiedad que afectan la salud biopsicosocial y el rendimiento escolar. Objetivo:
“Determinar la relación entre la adicción al internet y la ansiedad en estudiantes del tercer a quinto
grado en la institución educativa de nivel secundario Gabriel Ramos, Ica 2024”. Material y
métodos: Investigación cuantitativa, transversal, correlacional, no experimental, participando
111 estudiantes mediante encuesta, aplicándose instrumentos validados en Perú. Resultados: La
adicción al internet fue de nivel bajo 70.3%, al igual que en las dimensiones uso excesivo 68.5%,
tolerancia 72.1%, abstinencia 66.7% y consecuencias negativas 59.5%. La ansiedad fue de nivel
mínimo en el 50.5%, al igual que en las dimensiones ansiedad fisiológica 53.2% y afectiva
cognitiva 45.0%. Se confirmó la relación entre las variables (p=0.000), observándose que en
estudiantes con nivel moderado de ansiedad, presentaban en su mayoría nivel medio y alto de
adicción al internet, siendo su comportamiento de forma positiva y moderada (r = 0.566). Las
dimensiones de la adicción al internet se relacionaron significativamente con la ansiedad según
uso excesivo (p=0.005), tolerancia (p=0.000), abstinencia (p=0.000) y consecuencias negativas
(p=0.000). Conclusiones: La adicción al internet se relaciona significativamente con la ansiedad
en estudiantes del tercer a quinto grado en la institución educativa de nivel secundario Gabriel
Ramos, Ica 2024.Excessive use of the internet constitutes a serious problem that predominantly affects the
adolescent population when entering social networks and online video games, causing anxiety
disorders that affect biopsychosocial health and academic performance. Objective: To determine
the relationship between internet addiction and anxiety in students from third to fifth grade at the
Gabriel Ramos secondary school, Ica 2024. Material and methods: Quantitative, cross
sectional, correlational, non-experimental research, with the participation of 111 students through
a survey, applying instruments validated in Peru. Results: Internet addiction was low in 70.3%,
as well as in the dimensions excessive use 68.5%, tolerance 72.1%, abstinence 66.7% and
negative consequences 59.5%. Anxiety was at a minimal level in 50.5%, as well as in the
dimension’s physiological anxiety 53.2% and affective-cognitive 45.0%. The relationship
between the variables was confirmed (p = 0.000), observing that in students with moderate level
of anxiety, the majority presented medium and high level of internet addiction, with positive and
moderate behavior (r = 0.566). The dimensions of internet addiction were significantly related to
anxiety according to excessive use (p = 0.005), tolerance (p = 0.000), abstinence (p = 0.000) and
negative consequences (p = 0.000). Conclusions: Internet addiction is significantly related to
anxiety in students from third to fifth grade at the Gabriel Ramos secondary school, Ica 2024
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature.
