Glasser dönüşümü için özdeşlikler ve bunların uygulamaları

    No full text
In the present paper the author shows that an iteration of the L2- transform by itself is a constant multiple of the Glasser transform. Using this iteration identity, a Parseval-Goldstein type theorem for the L2-transform and the Glasser transform is given. By making use of these results a number of new ParsevalGoldstein type identities are obtained for these and many other well-known integral transforms. The identities proven in this paper are shown to give rise to useful corollaries for evaluating infinite integrals of special functions. Some examples are also given as illustration of the results presented here

Integrating Glasser Quality School Concepts Into Online Courses

    No full text
The purpose of this chapter is to provide information on how William Glasser's quality school concepts can be integrated into online classrooms. The author provides a historical background for the development of Glasser Quality Schools, including the conditions for quality and the criteria for becoming a quality school. The author will provide suggestions for creating online relationships, explain the concept of boss versus lead management, and give examples of how lead management is utilized in a quality school. The importance of making learning useful and relevant will be linked to student motivation. The self-evaluation process of assessment will be discussed and how self-evaluation can be integrated with feedback for continued improvement of outcomes and quality. Finally, the author will provide a problem-solving format that can be used by faculty, administration, and students. </jats:p

It All Begins with Relations: The Glasser Quality School Model

    No full text
Understanding choice theory provides a foundation for developing relationships and is the central component of the Glasser quality school model. Choice theory is William Glasser\u27s explanation of human behavior and motivation. It is based on the premise that we all have five basic needs: love and belonging, power and achievement, the freedom to be independent and make choices, the joy in having fun, and basic needs of survival and safety. In a quality school, the goal of administrators, teachers, counselors, staff, and support personnel is to create an environment in which everyone in the system, especially the students, gets his or her needs met in responsible, respectful ways. In this chapter, the Glasser quality school criteria is explained in addition to the behavioral habits that help build relationships and the behavioral habits that break down relationships. Stories that highlight the experiences of administrators, teachers, and counselors who put Glasser\u27s concepts into action are included to illuminate the essence of the Glasser quality school model.https://opus.govst.edu/fac/1202/thumbnail.jp
