L'esame prende le mosse da un tentativo di delimitazione dell'ambito di riferimento, ricostruendo le nozioni di machine learning e di profilazione per verificarne, in una seconda parte, le prospettive giuridiche in relazione alla protezione della sfera più riservata inerente i lavoratori. Nel saggio si affronta anche il tema dell'innovazione responsabile e della degerarchizzazione dell'impresa, ponendo attenzione al problema del c.d. game design
[Urinary excretion of arylsulfatases A and B in patients with renal transplants].
No full textArylsulfatase A and B activities have been determined in urine samples from four patients who received a Kidney allograft from living donors as a treatment for terminal uraemia. The values have been compared with those obtained in the urine of the respective donors. Two patients, with optimal renal functionality, the enzymatic activities were in the order of that observed in the urine of the donor in one case and lower than that of the donor in the other case. A patient showing kidney rejection episodes, reversed by the specific therapy, had the enzymatic activities higher than those shown by the donor. Another patient who suffered for two rejections, the last one irreversible, showed a constant higher value of the two enzymatic activities compared with those of the donor and a further increase during the rejection period. In the light of these preliminary results it seems that the determination of the arylsulfatase activities in the urine of transplanted subjects could contribute to establishing the functional activity of the transplanted kidney and also in establishing the tendency of the kidney to undergo rejection
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Full text linkThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed
