No full textLa tecnologia è la soluzione per costruire una scuola migliore? Come cambiano le pratiche educative al variare di media e linguaggi? Davvero internet ci rende meno intelligenti? Sono alcune delle domande che animano le riflessioni contenute nei capitoli del volume, nato dall'esperienza pratica di 9 docenti coinvolti in attività didattiche che ibridano metodologie tradizionali ed e-learning. Filosofia, informatica, pedagogia, sociologia e giornalismo sono le sfere in cui si sono mossi gli autori come formatori. Natural born pedagogy integra le competenze di ciascuno, con l'obiettivo di offrire a docenti e studenti spunti per una didattica al passo coi tempi. Se la pedagogia è un'attitudine naturale dell'essere umano, la tecnologia è solo un altro mezzo da mettere al suo servizio, con modi da definire e sperimentare, senza demonizzarla né cadere vittime di mitologie o visioni entusiastiche

No full textIl cinema di Jia Zhangke cattura le contraddizioni sociali e culturali degli individui – soprattutto le classi lavoratrici rurali e migranti – a seguito della riforma economica di capitalismo moderato della Cina avviata nel 1979. Come altri registi cinesi prima di lui – tra tutti Zhang Yimou – Jia sembra particolarmente interessato all’universo femminile. Le sue donne sono costantemente rappresentate nell’atto (talvolta mancato) di un “attraversamento”: di tempi, di spazi, di classe. Che si tratti di viaggiatrici ostinate, all’inseguimento di uomini inetti (Still Life, 2006; I figli del fiume giallo, 2018), flâneuses in ambienti apocalittici e dall’esotismo decadente (ancora Still Life e The World, 2004), migranti forzate dalle logiche del progresso economico (24 City, 2008) o risolute sognatrici dell’Occidente (Unknown Pleasure, 2002; Al di là delle montagne, 2015), tutte sembrano indicare nel movimento (anche solo immaginato) una forma di (r)esistenza sullo sfondo di una Cina imperfetta
Parallel synthesis of trisubstituted formamidines: a facile and versatile procedure
No full textA focused library of formamidines having several diversity points has been prepared. The use of isocyanate resin as scavenger may offer several practical advantages over conventional procedures, such as the ease of workup and availability. The technique described herein was performed in a parallel synthesis format. The whole protocol has potential use in high throughput synthesis for the preparation and purification of libraries of unsymmetrical formamidines containing sets of different aliphatic substituents

No full textThe author presents the Cyrillic manuscript tradition in the Ruthenian language and the Polish texts written by Lithuanian Tatars as a model of the cultural integration which took place in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland between the XV-XVIIIth centuries. He gives a survey of the earliest Ruthenian translations made from Old Slavonic, Czech, Polish, Hebrew, Latin and Greek and he provides a list of Early Polish texts that were transcribed directly in the Muslim manuscripts using Arabic characters
Worldbuilding Practice as a Collaborative and Inclusive Design Process. The Case of ACTS-A Chance Through Sport
No full textThis paper aims to address the power of worldbuilding practice in promoting shared and collective imagination, activating a process of cultural and narrative change.
Specifically, the work presents a collaborative, social project entitled ACTS—A Chance Through Sport, whose main aim is to promote sports in prison as a tool for social reintegration, according to a multidisciplinary approach combining architecture, engineering, and design competencies. The focus is the work conducted by the Imagis Lab research group (Department of Design, Politecnico di Milano) regarding the role of narrative-based strategy in enhancing the transmission of values and messages through worldbuilding practice. Far from being a narrative gimmick for selling stories, it can allow people to participate in and interpret culturally situated narratives providing ownership.
As such, the first part of the paper will describe how the project ACTS—A Chance Through Sport has addressed the role of narrative-based processes in promoting inclusion. Then the second part is devoted to presenting the narrative-based design framework: practical strategies for rethinking stories in practice that we have developed in our research since 2013
