No full textVengono riportati i risultati di una ricerca sugli effetti dell'utilizzazione di semi di lino estrusi nell'alimentazione della vacca da latte; vengono prese in esame le variazioni della caratteristiche nutrizionali del latte e del formaggio così prodotto impiegando 400 o 800 g/d di lino estruso nel razionamento di vacche da latte. Interessanti risultati riguardano soprattutto la variazione della composizione del grasso in particolare si ha un aumento degli acidi grassi insaturi

Fractional exclusion statistics and shot noise in ballistic conductors
No full textWe study the noise properties of ballistic conductors with carriers satisfying fractional exclusion statistics. To test directly the nature of exclusion statistics we found that systems under weakly degenerate conditions should be considered. Typical of these systems is that the chemical potential \ensuremath{\mu} is in the thermal range |\ensuremath{\mu}|l{3k}_{B}T. In these conditions the noise properties under current saturation are found to depend upon the statistical parameter g, displaying suppressed shot noise for and enhanced shot noise for according to the attractive or repulsive nature of the carrier exclusion statistics

New Approaches to Transcodification Literature, Arts, and Media
No full textThis collection aims to renew our perspective on adaptation and intermedial processes by thinking of them in terms of codes rather than media. As a result, the notion of transcodification emerges as a crucial tool in order to study the circulation of semiotic and aesthetic resources across disciplines, knowledge systems, and cultures. Defined as the transfer of meaning-making potential from one semiotic domain to another, transcodification both includes and transcends intermediality, thus dramatically expanding the scope and research potential of adaptation and intermedial studies.
The essays collected here apply this framework to an incredibly wide variety of objects and issues, from the relationship between art and historiography to the visual culture of finance, from contemporary approaches to ekphrasis to the hidden labor of screenwriters, from modern surveillance to digital comics, from fansubbing to the reception of the classical world in the digital age, from medieval theater to the role of videogames in the “war on terror”.
By fostering dialogue between radically different disciplines, the book offers a unique approach to the study of semiotic interrelations across the most diverse aspects of human culture
