    The objective of this research was to know the improvement of students critical thinking ability in MA Islahul Ummah NW Bunut Baok, academic year 2015/2016 by using PBI based on authentic assessment. This research used Classroom Action Research (CAR) and it consisted of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data of student’s critical thinking ability was taken by giving student test, it was form of essay test. The results were obtainedseveral findings namely: 1) at first cycle: the mean score of students’ critical thinking abilitywas 54,41 and categorized into low category; 2) at second cycle:the mean score of students’ critical thinking ability was 85,29and categorizedintohigh category. Based on the results of this research can be concluded thatPBI based on authentic assessment can improve students’ critical thinkingability at the X grade students of MA.     Karo Foreign iis one of tourist destinations in Indonesia, offering various natural and cultural attractions. Tourism development in Karo Foreign has a very important and strategic meaning, because it is a mainstay sector that will be expected and support the development of the region. The purpose of this final assignment is to predict the number of domestic and foreign tourist visits in Karo Foreign in 2019 by using the method of exponential smoothingl, which is a linear method of one parameter of Brown. Forecasting is an estimate of something that will happen in the future. With the data of domestic and foreign tourist visit in Karo Foreign in 2007- 2016 will be predicted for next year that is year 2019. By determining the smoothing parameter (α) starting from 0,1 – 0,9 The result of the prediction that has been obtained from each parameter is calculated the smallest Mean Square Error value to select the best forecast. Thus, in the forecasting of domestic and foreign tourists visit in Karo Foreign in 2019 is 519.070 and 2.902 with the increasing number of domestic and foreign tourists who visit Karo Foreign, Karo Foreign government, especially the managers and the people of Karo Foreign maintain cleanliness, preservation, and culture for convenience.Kabupaten Karo adalah salah satu wilayah tujuan wisatawan di Indonesia, menawarkan berbagai objek wisata alam maupun budaya. Pengembangan kepariwisataan di Kabupaten Karo memiliki arti yang sangat penting dan strategis, karena merupakan sector andalan yang nantinya diharapkan maupun mendukung perkembangan daerah. Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah untuk meramalkan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara di Kabupaten Karo tahun 2019 dengan menggunakan metode pemulusan eksponensial, yaitu metode linear satu parameter dari Brown. Peramalan adalah perkiraan mengenai sesuatu yang akan terjadi di masa yang akan dating. Dengan data kunjungan wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara di Kabupaten Karo tahun 2007-2016 akan diramalkan untuk tahun berikutnya yaitu tahun 2019. Dengan menentukan parameter pemulusan (..) yang di mulai dari 0,1 - 0,9. Hasil ramalan yang telah diperoleh dari setiap parameter dihitung nilai Mean Square Error (MSE) yang terkecil untuk memiih ramalan yang paling baik. Sehingga, di dapat peramalan kunjungan wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara di Kabupaten Karo tahun 2019 adalah 519.070 dan 2.902 dengan meningkatnya jumlah wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke Kabupaten Karo, hendaknya Pemerintah Kabupaten Karo khususnya pihak pengelola dan masyarakat Kabupaten Karo menjaga kebersihan, kelestarian, dan kebudayaan demi kenyamanan bersama.Kertas Karya Diplom

    This study aims to obtain information about the understanding of junior high school teachers and MTs in the city of Bima towards learning text-based Indonesian. This type of research is a descriptive study using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The targets in this study are Indonesian of junior high school and MTs language teachers in the city of Bima. The method used in the process of collecting data in this research is the listening method and proficient method. While the method used in data analysis is the intralingual equivalent method of HBB, HBS, and HBSP techniques. Based on the analysis results obtained that the understanding of Indonesian of junior high school and MTs in the city of Mataram towards learning Indonesian based on text categorized less fortunate. The understanding of junior high school teachers and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on text-based Indonesian language learning is able to understand the types of texts based on their genre, because all respondents are able to describe their understanding in the text itself. From the point of view of the understanding of Indonesian of junior high school and MTs language teachers in the city of Bima on learning text-based Indonesian language is able to understand the structure of the text based on its genre, because all respondents were able to describe their understanding in the text based on the genre. The understanding of junior high school and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on learning text-based Indonesian is less able to understand the use of linguistic tools in the text, because most respondents are less able to describe their understanding in text based on their genre. And finally, the understanding of  junior high school and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on learning text-based Indonesian in Bima City is able to understand the social objectives in the text, because all respondents are able to describe their understanding in text based on their genre.Keywords: Teacher Understanding, Indonesian Language Learning, Text

    PENGARUH MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DENGAN SCAFFOLDING METAKOGNITIF TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH SISWA SMA PADA MATERI GELOMBANG BUNYI

    Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa, khususnya dalam mata pelajaran fisika masih tergolong rendah dan menjadi salah satu tantangan utama dalam proses belajar. Salah satu cara untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai. Dalam penelitian ini, diterapkan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dipadukan dengan Scaffolding Metakognitif untuk melihat sejauh mana model tersebut dapat berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi-eksperiment dengan desain equivalent control group. Sampel terdiri dari 61 siswa kelas XI di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung, yang dibagi ke dalam dua kelas. Kelas eksperimen mendapat perlakukan berupa penerapan model PBL dengan Scaffolding Metakognitif, sementara kelas kontrol hanya menerapkan model PBL saja. Instrumen berupa soal uraian yang dikembangkan berdasarkan empat indikator pemecahan masalah menurut Polya. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji N-Gain, uji stacking, uji-t, dan uji effect size Cohen’s d. hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa di kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji independent t-test menunjukan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelas. Selain itu, hasil effect size menujukan bahwa penerapan model PBL dengan Scaffolding Metakognitif memiliki efektivitas sedang terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dibandingkan penerapan model PBL saja. Dengan demikian, dapat sisimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dengan Scaffolding Metakognitif memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Students' problem-solving abilities, particularly in physics, remain relatively low and represent one of the major challenges in the learning process. One way to address this issue is by implementing an appropriate learning model. This study employed a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Metacognitive Scaffolding to examine the extent to which this model influences the improvement of students' problem-solving skills in the topic of sound waves. The study used a quasi-experimental method with an equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 61 eleventh-grade students from a senior high school in Bandung, divided into two classes. The experimental class received instruction using the PBL model with Metacognitive Scaffolding, while the control class was taught using only the PBL model. The instrument used was an essay test developed based on the four problem-solving indicators proposed by Polya. Data were analyzed using N-Gain, stacking test, t-test, and Cohen’s d effect size. The results indicated that the improvement in problem-solving ability in the experimental class was higher than in the control class. The independent t-test showed a significant difference between the two classes. Additionally, the effect size analysis revealed that the implementation of the PBL model with Metacognitive Scaffolding had a moderate effect on problem-solving abilities compared to the PBL model alone. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model integrated with Metacognitive Scaffolding has a big impact on enhancing students' problem-solving skills in the topic of sound waves
