Get PDFNo presente artigo, sob a perspectiva de que toda aglomeração produtiva está associada a um respectivo mercado de trabalho local, são analisadas as principais características do mercado de trabalho inerente à territorialidade da indústria de revestimentos cerâmicos da região de Santa Gertrudes/SP. No contexto de profundas modificações na atividade industrial e no mundo do trabalho que conduzem a novos formatos espaciais das relações econômicas, são discutidos no texto a pertinência da noção de mercado de trabalho local à luz da atual ênfase dada aos aglomerados territoriais de pequenas e médias empresas - chamados de APLs (Arranjos Produtivos Locais)- a partir de seu potencial gerador de competitividade e desenvolvimento territorial.Under the perspective that all productive clusters is related a respective local labor market, the author analyze, in this paper, the principal characteristics of labor market associated with Santa Gertrudes/ São Paulo region territoriality of manufacturing pavement ceramic. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Variations on the Author
Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. A TERRITORIALIZAÇÃO DO SEGMENTO CALÇADISTA EM JAÚ: Arranjo produtivo local, atores e governança
No full textO presente artigo tem como objetivo identificar os principais elementos constituintes do Arranjo Produtivo Local (APL) especializado na fabricação de calçados femininos de Jaú e região, em um conjunto de municípios localizados na parte central do Estado de São Paulo. Trabalha-se com a hipótese de que a constituição dessa aglomeração produtiva, uma das quatro maiores produtoras do segmento no Estado, está atrelada a uma estrutura de governança própria envolvendo atores e instituições em inter-relação e hierarquizados em termos de poderes econômicos e políticos, mesclando cooperação e conflito. O APL de couro e calçados de Jaú é formado por Jaú, segundo maior produtor individual de calçados do Estado de São Paulo, e mais nove municípios de pequeno porte em seu entorno e que possuem elos da cadeia calçadista em seu território (produção final e/ou fornecimento de insumos da cadeia produtiva). A principal concentração industrial, de infraestrutura e de serviços especializados dessa região se concentra em Jaú, tradição que remete às primeiras oficinas de sapateiros dos anos de 1920 e 1930 do século passado. A constituição de um APL se inicia em fins dos anos 1990 e se aprofunda no início dos 2000, com a inclusão da região e seus municípios produtores de calçados no programa estadual de fortalecimento da competitividade em APLs. A territorialização da indústria calçadista em Jaú remete ao quadro composto pelos atores públicos e privados que participam da governança da política estadual de APLs em nível espacial regional e local e, nesse sentido, se deu a construção de uma rede de poder socioterritorial pautada na constante relação de cooperação e conflito envolvendo atores, normas, instituições e convenções articuladas envoltas em planos e programas de ação

Cette étude propose une base théorique pour les études appliquées à essayer de comprendre comment exprimer les organisations et institutions, ses acteurs et ses agents dans l'environnement de la structure de gouvernance territoriale, étant donné les cours divers secteurs socio-spatiale et territoriale au Brésil. Ainsi, les arrangements productifs locaux (APL) et Tours apparaissent comme des stratégies novatrices pour la gouvernance territoriale étant donné le caractère de sa propre configuration de la relation entre l'Etat, privées et autres institutions sociales.Este artigo reúne noções, teorias e dados buscando compreender como se articulam as novas formas de governança do território, através das estratégias institucionais e organizacionais dos atores locais para mobilização dos ativos territoriais específicos, em projetos de desenvolvimento local. Este estudo propõe uma base teórica aplicada para estudos que buscam compreender como se expressam as organizações e as instituições, seus atores e agentes nos ambientes da estrutura de governança territorial, tendo em vista os vários contextos sócio-espaciais e territoriais em curso no Brasil. Desse modo, os Arranjos Produtivos Locais (APL) e os Circuitos Turísticos aparecem como estratégias inovadoras de governança territorial dado o caráter próprio de configuração da relação entre Estado, iniciativa privada e outras instituições sociais.Este artículo recoge los conceptos, teorías y datos con el fin de entender cómo se articulan nuevas formas de gobernanza del territorio, a través de las estrategias institucionales y de organización de los actores locales para movilizar los activos específicos del territorio en proyectos de desarrollo local. Este estudio propone una base teórica para los estudios aplicados tratando de entender cómo expresar las organizaciones e instituciones, sus actores y agentes en el entorno de la estructura de gobernanza territorial, en vista de varios contextos socio-espaciales y territoriales en Brasil. Por lo tanto, los Arreglos productivos locales (APL) y Tours aparecen como estrategias innovadoras de gobernanza territorial, dado el carácter de su propia configuración de la relación entre el Estado, privados, las instituciones sociales y otros.This article brings together concepts, theories and data in order to understand how the new forms of governance of the territory are articulate, through the institutional and organizational strategies of local actors to mobilize specific territorial assets in local development projects. This study proposes a theoretical basis for applied studies trying to understand how to express the organizations and institutions, its actors and agents in the environment of the structure of territorial governance, given the various socio-spatial and territorial underway in Brazil.
