No full text[IT] L’idea di una Mostra-Convegno sull’insediamento e sulla vicenda storica, didattica e scientifica della Facoltà di Giurisprudenza dell’Ateneo fridericiano nasce dall’esigenza di avviare un’opportuna messa a fuoco sulla rilevanza assunta da tale istituzione nello sviluppo delle conoscenze e della pratica giuridica nel Mezzogiorno d’Italia (e non solo).
Movendo dagli indirizzi di saluto del Rettore e dei Consigli nazionali forense e del Notariato, e da una suggestiva riflessione del Direttore del Dipartimento, il volume reca nella prima parte gli Atti dell’incontro tenutosi il 12 novembre 2015 nell’Aula Pessina. Segue, rivisitata e integrata, la presentazione dei materiali della Mostra, dove – con contestuale ragguaglio relativo ai Presidi succedutisi alla guida della Facoltà – le testimonianze del rinnovamento edilizio ed urbanistico di Napoli a partire dal secondo Ottocento sono affiancate alle più rilevanti vicende dell’epoca e alle più significative realizzazioni locali.
[EN] The idea of a convention on the institution, as well as on the historical, educational and scientific contribution of the Law Faculty of the Federico II University arises from the need to adequately focus on the importance assumed by this institution, even outside the boundaries of Southern Italy, in the development of both legal knowledge and practices.

Flow Field around a Vertical Cylinder in Presence of Long Waves: An Experimental Study
No full textLong waves caused by storm surges or river floods can significantly impact marine and fluvial structures such as bridge piers. Apart from the forces that they generate on the structure, they also contribute to the formation of turbulent eddies downstream of the obstacle. This is relevant, as in this way they can affect both an erodible bottom and the ecosystem. The present study describes a medium-scale experiment, in which the propagation of two different long waves released on a steady current is investigated in the presence of a bottom-mounted rigid emergent cylinder. Velocity measurements were acquired by a Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) system, providing instantaneous flow velocity vectors on selected 2D planes. For each experimental condition, the time-varying velocity field near the cylinder was examined in selected vertical and horizontal planes. First, we tested which analytical theory or approximated method can best represent the experimental waves. After this, we estimated the horizontal maps of velocity and vorticity downstream of the obstacle and finally processed the velocity signals by means of a wavelet-based technique, to derive the length scales of turbulent eddies. No full textIl presente lavoro va considerato come un segmento del più ampio progetto di ricerca triennale, dal titolo La figura del padre nelle famiglie con un figlio disabile, condotto da Roberta Caldin e Alessia Cinotti , volto ad indagare il ruolo dei padri nelle famiglie con figli disabili, focalizzando l’attenzione su alcune dimensioni prioritarie dell’educazione parentale. Tale lavoro ha offerto una prospettiva sull'educare che potremmo indicare al “maschile”, attraverso il coinvolgimento di novanta padri che ci hanno consentito di tracciare le principali caratteristiche del modo di essere padri, oggi. La ricerca si è mossa attorno ad alcuni interrogativi - “chi” sono i padri dei bambini con disabilità? Quali compiti educativi caratterizzano la quotidianità dei padri? Come si delineano le funzioni educative nelle famiglie con figli disabili? – che hanno indirizzato il nostro lavoro verso la “scoperta” di uno dei temi meno indagati nell'ambito della Pedagogia Speciale

No full textIl volume, che inaugura la collana LINGUISTICA DELLE DIFFERENZE, raccoglie contributi dedicati al nome e all'identità femminile, con particolare attenzione alle modalità con cui, attraverso lo strumento linguistico e nell'ambito del testo letterario, storico e filosofico, si viene delinando l'identità linguistica e culturale della donna nell'antichità classica, momento fondativo per la costruzione dei saperi sui quali tuttora si fonda la nostra civiltà occidentale. I contributi e il dibattito scientifico che ne è scaturito sono il frutto delle attività promosse nell'ambito di un Accordo Internazionale tra l'Università Federico II di Napoli e l'Universidad Metropolitana de Cinencias de la Educación di Santiago del Cile, dirette ad approfondire e rinnovare, attraverso la riflessione sul pensiero antico, tematiche ancora oggi attualissime e di fondamentale importanza per la promozione di spazi di interscambio, confronto e integrazione, indispensabili allo stabilirsi di una solida cultura della pace.

Sismo-Lab: an ASL Project for the realization of an educational kit on earthquakes
No full textThe Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro (ASL) is considered by the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR), an innovative teaching method which helps in consolidating the knowledge acquired at school and testing students' attitudes though practical experience. As part of the ASL projects proposed at the University of Roma Tre, SISMO-LAB project is aimed to the creation of an educational kit on earthquakes.The main objectives of the project are: promotion of knowledge on earthquakes, improvement of analysis and design skills, and acquisition of methodological skills in the field of dissemination of scientific culture. Thirty-five students from 6 different schools were involved in the pilot project. The experience was assessed positively both by the students, who showed interest and involvement in the realization of the whole kit, and by their teachers who noticed an active and critical participation of their students in the various phases of project implementation. In particular, the workshop experience has attracted students for practical activities and for the fact that, that, once completed, the educational kit became property of the school. This positive feedback has encouraged university staff to continue the project in the future
The effect of internal migration on regional growth in Italy: a dynamic spatial panel data analysis
No full textThis study assesses the effect of internal migration on regional growth in Italy at the NUTS-3 level over
the period 2002-2019. The composition of the internal migration flows of the working-age population in Italy during the sample period appears substantially heterogeneous in nationality and labor skills. The
analysis considers this heterogeneity, estimating various specifications of the dynamic spatial model and controlling for the endogeneity of migration variables through a control function approach. The evidence suggests that the internal migration of Italian citizens has a positive direct and spillover impact on regional growth, slowing down the convergence process. On the contrary, there is no evidence of a significant effect of internal migration of foreign citizens. Taking the skill composition of internal movements of Italian citizens into account, the adverse impact on convergence is magnified, thus corroborating the skill-selective hypothesis. Finally, the diverging impact of internal migration increases with the distance of migration flows
