The Political Practice and its Subjects in of New Critical Theories: Complicities and Points of Adversity

These four theoretical bets on the “multitude” (Hardt and Negri), on the political subject as fidelity to an event (Badiou), on the “people” as a hegemonic interaction of heterogeneous demands (Laclau and Mouffe), on the political subject as an emergent subject of an egalitarian irruption (Rancière), illustrate the seek for new political subjectivities after abandoning the Marxist thesis that gives a decisive role to the working-class in the process of social transformation. Apart from this binding nucleus, they present divergences that place the question about the subject of emancipation in a field of confrontations, and bifurcation points. This work aims at delimiting the lines of combat, voices of consent and dissent found in these new critical theories regarding the connection between political subjectivity, and economic relations, the issue of the strategy, the nationalism/internationalism dilemma and the disjunction between statism and anti-statism.   Cite this paper: Inda, Graciela 2021. This article deals with the problem arising out of copyright registration system which oftentimes leads to copyright disputes. The author argues that this dispute arises out of the possible conflict between automatic protection principle and the existing copyright registration system. Therefore, the author suggests that, in the case of copyright ownership dispute, registration should not be perceived as absolute evidence. Treating registration as absolute proof will instead violate the automatic protection system. Instead, the author suggests that other factors, such as publication of copyright, understanding of individuality concept, originality standards etc., should be taken into consideration as well, when determining copyright ownership.   Keywords: automatic protection principle, copyrights registration, publication, individuality concept  originality standar

Those weird new hairstyles : contemporary critical theories and the subject of emancipation

In the first part we identify the limits of Keucheyan’s (2013) “new critical theories" mapping, by considering the points of encounter that enable it in their true nature of points of adversity. In our perspective, this broad theoretical field is made by conceptual constructions defined by opposition and inhabited by absent presences that –even if placed by the author outside the margins of the novelty– resist the order of a chronological time. But, at the same time, they are theoretical interventions disputing a sense of reality sutured to the coordinates of ours conjunctures, instance always politics that deform the pretensions of theory and forces it to a permanent rebeginning. In the second part, after questioning the boundaries established in theoretical field, we place the problem of the subject of emancipation in its conflictual and conjunctural nature, through a path guided by some of the tendencies in conflict. In the conclusions, we detect vanishings points and we emphasize a conception of the political practice and the subject that escapes both of the postmodern narrative and the positions that claims the autonomy of politics.Fil: Inda, Graciela. Parsons social stratification theory: an architecture of consensus and conflict stabilization

    No full text
First, we limit the basic concepts of the general theory of action that serves as point of departure to Talcott Parsons theory of social stratification. Second, we identify the basic tenets of this theory: the conformity of action on collective values as a decisive criterion of social differentiation, the classification of types of social stratification based on prevailing norms , the definition of an individual hierarchy of sanctions and rewards , the proportionality between merit and reward, among others. Third, we approach the particular interpretation elaborated by the author regarding the stratification system of modern industrialized societies and we focus on the notion of class status and the introduction of the problem of power in explaining empirical stratifications. Fourth, we analyze the Parsonian arguments aimed at blurring the existence of classes and conflict in industrialized societies. Finally, we present our findings and relate this theory of stratification with some basic principles of liberal and neo - liberal ruling ideology.Fil: Duek, Maria Celia. No full text
Tazkia Institute has been implementing the tahfidz program since 2017 until now. This program applies various learning strategies for memorizing the Qur'an to achieve the goals of the tahfidz program. The study aims to find out how learning strategies in increasing the interest in memorizing hafidzpreneur students are applied at Tazkia Bogor Institute. The method used by the author is with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research is motivated by several factors so that student interest in memorizing the Qur'an decreases. Therefore, it is necessary to have a strategy for coaches in increasing students' interest in memorizing in order to complete the tahfidz and academic programs within four years. The results of this study indicate that the learning strategy in increasing interest in memorizing the Qur'an consists of: First, the planning stage in the form of curriculum preparation or tahfidz learning time system, Qur'an Camp activities, and memorization certification models. Second: the implementation of learning consists of initial activities opened with greetings and prayers to start tahfidz classes to core activities with memorization deposits to musyrifah until closing activities. Third: factors that influence students' interest in memorizing, fourth: efforts made by ustadz ustadzah by taking several approaches such as personal approach, general approach, and sharing sessions with students in order to encourage enthusiasm in memorizing

Emergent cross-product-type spin-orbit coupling under ferroaxial ordering

    No full text
A ferroic alignment of a time-reversal-even axial vector, which is called the ferroaxial ordered state, is identified by the spontaneous rotational distortion of the lattice structure to break vertical mirror symmetry. We theoretically investigate what happens in the electronic structure once ferroaxial ordering occurs by analyzing a tetragonal d-p cluster model with transition metal oxide in mind. By adopting the symmetry-adapted multipole representation, we elucidate the emergent cross-product form of the spin-orbit coupling by the interplay between the atomic spin-orbit coupling and the d-p hybridization according to vertical mirror symmetry breaking, which corresponds to the electronic order parameter of ferroaxial ordering
