No full textEvery epistemology refers to ontology. Relational ontologies question disciplinary knowledge and bet on multi-agential overlaps and entanglements between human beings and artifacts. This article interlinks some bets arising from a feminist, neomaterialist and posthumanist philosophy of technics, which I regard as a dialogical compost for technoscience: I connect Karen Barad’s agential realism and its category of intra-action with Lucy Suchman’s notion of interdependence, Judy Wajcman’s proposal of a technofeminist co-constitution with María Puig de la Bellacasa’s matters of care, and all, of course, with Donna Haraway’s response-ability. That is, I regard all these bets as sympoietically intertwined, and generative of each other. Far from being static, apparatuses reconfigure the world given by Barad’s material-discursive intra-actions, performativities open to rearticulations, relationalities that produce phenomena in the dynamic agency of the world. Suchman aims to understand this mutual constitution of agency between humans and artifacts in their dynamic and interdependent relationships, while identifying the differences and particularities that distinguish the specific assemblages of humans and non-humans. Aware to these sociomaterial practices, Wajcman sustains the mutual constitution of gender and technoscience from what she calls technofeminism. For Puig de la Bellacasa, the interdependence between humans and artifacts is assumed from a commitment to care practices coupled with the sociotechnical relationships of things, human and non-human. Haraway exhorts us to response-ability in practices attending to situated technological projects and their people. In a relational material-semiotic world it is necessary to think with situated relational categories. In any case, it is about feminist epistemological policies committed to the present, of intertwined configurations, affinities and articulations to continue with the problem of thinking about technoscience for other possible worlds.Fil: Fischetti, Natalia Beatriz. No full textFrente a un saber científico y filosófico que sigue pretendiéndose neutro, objetivo, ajeno a nuestras subjetividades, frente a un discurso científico que fragmenta los saberes, los compartimenta, los tecnifica y los vuelve eficientes en términos mercantiles, nos animamos algunxs a caminar nuevos territorios. La propuesta es que este corrimiento pueda tener un correlato en una versión epistemológica crítica del modo en el que los saberes son producidos. Una epistemología feminista capaz de crear nuevos espacios intersticiales entre las diversas disciplinas y los diversos géneros discursivos se expresa aquí en una apuesta por una multiversa escritura cyborg.In front of a scientific, philosophic knowledge assumed as neutral, objective, strange

Específicamente, se centra en los servicios de asistencia virtual de voz de IA, que representan una automatización de lo que tradicionalmente se ha considerado trabajo feminizado y presentan rasgos atribuidos usualmente a las mujeres. Según algunas investigaciones los servicios de asistencia presentan sesgos de género, mientras que otras destacan que tienen género. Interesa analizar sobre esta diferenciación y sus consecuencias.ABSTRACT
This article aims to explore the ethical and political effects of AI from the perspective of Feminist Studies of Technology. Specifically, it focuses on AI voice virtual assistants, which represent an automation of what has traditionally been considered feminized labor and exhibit traits typically attributed to women. Generar parentesco en el Chthuluceno (2016), la filósofa Donna Haraway insiste con que debemos construir parentescos. Esta invitación viene con otra advertencia: generen parientes, no bebés, es decir, salirse del relato de la reproducción heteronormativa, de los géneros convencionales y el excepcionalismo humano para producir la simpoiesis, para hacer-con y devenir-con una nidada variopinta de otros terráqueos (Haraway, 2019: 210). Crear parentescos implica trastocar los lazos de sangre dados por los parentescos elegidos. Parentescos que son una suerte de composición, un compostaje, entre humanos y no humanos. El tiempo presente, signado por el COVID, nos enfrenta una vez más a asumir la responsabilidad que tenemos con el mundo. La trama de lo viviente: humanos, máquinas, animales y microorganismos, nos impulsa a construir parentescos en un mundo dañado. Pensamiento crítico: Herbert Marcuse y Angela Davis en acción
No full textA 50 años del Mayo francés y en plena efervescencia de los movimientos feministas a nivel mundial, el llamado a escribir acerca del pensamiento crítico reclama revisitar algunas de las tramas del tejido que conforman Herbert Marcuse y Angela Davis. En el diálogo fecundo que entablaron buscamos destacar ciertos elementos biográficos que vinculan los saberes de la filosofía con los movimientos de liberación de la denominada nueva izquierda. El pensamiento crítico, bien afirmado con un pie en los saberes de la academia y el otro pie en la lucha social, no tambalea para dar cuenta de las problemáticas de la liberación en el marco de la opresión propia de un capitalismo industrial signado por el principio de actuación (performance principle). La apuesta por la interpenetración de los problemas frente a la fragmentación de los saberes y las luchas, conforman los fundamentos y las herramientas del movimiento de liberación de las mujeres negras, y desde allí la utopía de la liberación social en un socialismo crítico.Fifty years after the French May of ‘68 and with the feminist movements in full swing throughout the world, the call to write about critical thinking requires revisiting some of the concepts by Herbert Marcuse and Angela Davis. In their fruitful dialogue we point to certain biographical elements that connect philosophical knowledge with the liberation movements known as New Left. Critical thinking, firmly straddling between the academy and the social struggles, does not waver when it comes to explain the liberation issues in the frame of the industrial capitalism oppression, always marked by the performance principle. The choice of interpenetration in front of the fragmentation of fights and knowledge constitutes the base and the fundamental tool of the liberation movement of black women, and the starting point for a social liberation utopia within critical socialism.Fil: Fischetti, Natalia Beatriz.
