Evaluasi Keragaman Kacang Bogor (Vigna Subterranea (L.) Verdcourt) Hasil Induksi Mutasi Kolkisin
Kacang bogor atau Bambara berasal dari Afrika, kemudian berkembang ke kawasan Amerika, Asia, dan Australia. Kacang bogor menjadi tanaman legume terpenting kedua dan merupakan tanaman pangan terpenting kedua setelah jagung dan kacang tanah di tingkatan petani subsisten di Mpumalanga Afrika. Tanaman kacang bogor memiliki kandungan lemak yang rendah, tetapi tinggi akan kalori membuat kacang bogor menjadi salah satu alternatif makanan untuk orang yang sedang diet lemak. Permasalahan yang menghambat peningkatan komoditas ini adalah belum dikenalnya tanaman ini di masyarakat menjadi salah satu kendalanya. Selain itu masih sedikitnya penelitian terhadap tanaman ini menjadi kendala berikutnya. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan keragaman pada tanaman kacang bogor ialah dengan mutasi. Mutasi ialah perubahan dalam struktur gen baik yang terjadi secara spontan maupun secara buatan dengan menggunakan agensia fisik maupun kimia (Nasir, 2001) senyawa kimia yang dapat digunakan untuk menginduksi mutasi adalah kolkisin.
Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mempelajari keragaman karakter kacang bogor hasil induksi kolkisin generasi CT-0 dan mempelajari penampilan karakter kacang bogor hasil induksi kolkisin generasi CT-0. Hipotesis penelitian ini ialah terdapat terdapat karakter yang beragam pada kacang bogor hasil induksi kolkisin generasi CT-0 dan terdapat karakter kacang bogor yang memiliki penampilan lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kontrol.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret 2017 hingga Agustus 2017. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya di Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang. Penelitian Laboratorium dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Pemuliaan Tanaman, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya. Bahan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain kolkisin, media tanah, air, pupuk urea, SP36, KCl, pupuk kandang, pestisida dan benih kacang bogor galur GSG 2.1.1. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain gunting, spidol, kertas label, papan impraboard, ember, cangkul, cutter, micropipette, sarung tangan, masker, meteran, penggaris, timbangan analitik serta kamera digital. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode single plant. Konsentrasi kolkisin yang digunakan 0 ppm (kontrol), 100 ppm (P1), 300 ppm (P2) dan 500 ppm (P3). Waktu perendaman benih yang digunakan 3 jam (W1), 6 jam (W2) dan 9 jam (W3). Total tanaman yang digunakan sebanyak 144 tanaman. Parameter tanaman yang diamati antara lain tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), Panjang akar (cm), Jumlah bunga, Umur berbunga (HST), Jumlah polong per tanaman, Bobot polong per tanaman, Jumlah biji per tanaman, Bobot biji per tanaman (gram) dan Umur panen (HST). Data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan uji t, untuk mengetahui berbeda atau tidaknya individu akibat perlakuan dengan individu tanpa perlakuan.
Dari hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nyata pada karakter lebar biji, panjang biji, lebar polong, panjang polong, lebar polong, jumlah biji serta jumlah polong akibat kombinasi perlakuan kolkisin dengan waktu perendaman. Perlakuan control memiliki kategori koefisien keragaman rendah, sedangkan kombinasi perlakuan kolkisin dengan waktu perendaman memiliki koefisien keragaman kategori rendah sampai tinggi
Analisis Kekuatan Struktur Deck Akibat Penambahan Boat Crane Pada Kapal Fast Utility Vessel 40 M Dengan Metode Fem Analysis
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kekuatan struktur dek pada kapal Fast Utility Vessel sepanjang 40 meter akibat penambahan boat crane. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah Finite Element Method (FEM) yang memungkinkan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi distribusi tegangan serta deformasi pada struktur dek kapal. Studi ini mencakup pemodelan elemen hingga tiga dimensi dari struktur dek dan boat crane, serta penentuan kondisi batas dan beban kerja yang relevan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penambahan boat crane memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kekuatan dan stabilitas struktur dek. Identifikasi area kritis dan rekomendasi perkuatan struktur juga disertakan untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kinerja kapal secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: Fast Utility Vessel, Finite Element Method (FEM), Distribusi Tegangan, Deformasi, Stabilitas Struktu
Improvement of Involvement Society in the Context of Smart Community for Cultural Heritage Preservation in Singosari
AbstractSingosari is an urban heritage area where is located in Malang Regency with heritage object such as Singosari Temple, Sumberawan Temple, and 2 Dwarapala Statues. Singosari urban heritage area is needed to preseve because it has historical and cultural value as future learn materials about Singosari origin. Nonetheless many people who lived around Singosari heritage area do not know even do not care about heritage. There are only some of them who care about heritage area in Singosari. They made a community named Gerakan Masyarakat Peduli Singosari (GMPS). GMPS need to do any efforts to persuade people in preservation of Singosari heritage area. This research used literature review as analysis method with rationalistic approached. Analisis Insentif Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Tetap dan Pegawai Perjanjian Kurun Waktu Tertentu
Competition between businesses that are increasingly intense, requires every company to be able to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR). Performance is still a concern for organizational and company stakeholders, because performance is the output displayed by each employee. One of the factors that affect the performance of an employee is the provision of incentives. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of providing incentives for jobholders on performance, to analyze the effect of providing incentives for PKWT employees on performance, and to analyze the effect of differences in the provision of incentives for permanent employees and PKWT. Data was collected through distributing questionnaires to employees of PT. Bukit Dhoho Indah Kediri, either directly or indirectly. The population used is 23 jobholders and 27 PKWT employees at PT. Bukit Dhoho Indah. The methods used to collect data are the documentation method and the questionnaire method. Data analysis in this study used simple regression analysis with the help of SPSS version 2.0. Testing of instrument data includes validity test, reliability test, F test and t test. The results of this study indicate that the provision of incentives has a significant effect on jobholders and PKWT employees, and the results of the t-test analysis show that PKWT employees have a value of 0.681 greater than jobholders with a t-test value of 0.478

Increasing Community Knowledge of Planning Process and Online Musrenbang Process in Rungkut District Surabaya
AbstractMusrenbang is a process during which residents meet together to discuss the issues facing their communities and decide upon priorities. Communities should be have knowledge about planning process and how they can contribute in planning process. The one way to enhance understanding of community regarding the planning process, online musrenbang process, the participatory mapping and the way to read planning map is through trainning. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of online musrenbang trainning to increase the community knowledge. The method used to measure the level of community understanding is using statistics in pairs (paired t-test) of the results of the pre-test and the post-test training. Findings of this study appear to suggest that online musrenbang trainning is effective at improving community knowledge in Rungkut District

Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan keragaman pada tanaman kacang bogor ialah dengan mutasi menggunakan kolkisin. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mempelajari keragaman dan penampilan karakter kacang bogor hasil induksi kolkisin generasi CT-0. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Brawijaya di Kelurahan Jatimulyo, Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang dan dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai Juni 2017. Waktu perendaman benih yang digunakan 3 jam (W1), 6 jam (W2) dan 9 jam (W3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kolisin menyebabkan keragaman yang luas pada karakter jumlah biji per tanaman dan panjang polong per tanaman. serta, karakter yang memiliki rata-rata lebih tinggi akibat pemberian kolkisin dibandingkan dengan kontrol ialah panjang biji per tanaman, lebar biji pertanaman, panjang polong per tanaman, lebar polong per tanaman, jumlah biji per tanaman, dan jumlah polong per tanaman
Correlation between Facial Skin Damage Due to UV Exposure and Facial Skin Porphyrin Level: Study on Students of SMA Kalam Kudus II Jakarta, Indonesia
Background: UV exposure causes physical and chemical damage. UV causes damage to the skin barrier physically due to the heating process. Meanwhile, chemically, UV causes the formation of oxidants which are responsible for the process of oxidative stress. Damage to skin cells causes loss of the body's natural barrier against various threats from microorganisms. Propionibacterium acnes is one of the commensal bacteria on the skin, which will produce products in the form of porphyrins. This study aimed to determine the correlation between UV-induced skin damage and porphyrin levels in SMA Kalam Kudus II Jakarta, Indonesia.
Methods: This study was an analytic observational study with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 92 research subjects who were students of SMA Kalam Kudus II Jakarta, Indonesia, participated in this study. Facial skin porphyrin levels and levels of facial skin damage due to sun exposure (UV damage proportion) as measured by a skin analyzer. UV damage and porphyrin assessments according to the T Zone and V Zone regions and obtained the average results from the 3 regions. Correlation analysis was performed with the help of SPSS software.
Results: The higher the percentage of skin damage due to UV correlated positively with the higher the percentage of porphyrin levels, with a value of r = 0.529.
Conclusion: There is a positive correlation between UV-induced skin damage and porphyrin levels in students of SMA Kalam Kudus II Jakarta, Indonesia
