Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
No full textThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

No full textLKSA Al- Firdaus is an institution that provides substitute services for parents in meeting the needs of children who have an underprivileged background, do not have a complete family, neglected children and delinquent children. Referring to the conditions on the ground that all foster children do not live in the Al-Firdaus orphanage. Apart from that, regarding the physical condition of the children who looked healthy, contained even though they came from underprivileged families. This study aims to describe the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA AlFirdaus. Researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The informant determination technique uses purposive. Data collection techniques using non- participatory observation, semi- structured interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, display data and conclusion drawing/ verification. In addition, the researcher used method and source triangulation techniques. The results of this study describe the form of meeting the needs provided by LKSA to their foster children. The conclusion is that the form of meeting the needs of foster children at LKSA Al- firdaus is in the form of (1) fulfilling physiological needs which include fulfilling clothing, food, health, and education (2) meeting security and safety needs (3) meeting social needs (4) meeting social needs appreciation (5) fulfillmen

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis record management di Desa Firdaus, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Record management merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam administrasi desa, karena berkaitan dengan pengelolaan dokumen dan data yang mendukung operasional dan pengambilan keputusan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, di mana data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dengan aparat desa, dan kajian dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Record Management di Desa Firdaus masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya sumber daya manusia yang terlatih, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta belum adanya sistem manajemen rekod digital yang memadai. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kapasitas aparat desa melalui pelatihan manajemen rekod serta pengembangan sistem manajemen rekod berbasis teknologi guna mendukung efektivitas dan efisiensi administrasi desa

Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
No full textWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more

Jawaban:
Menurut saya kekuasaan merupakan salah satu faktor yang penting dalam mempengaruhi kebijakan politik karena dengan kekuasaan, seseorang atau sekelompok orang dapat memiliki pengaruh dan kontrol terhadap proses pembuatan kebijakan. Kekuasaan dapat didefinisikan sebagai kemampuan untuk mengendalikan sumber daya dan perilaku orang lain.
Dalam konteks politik, para pemimpin atau kelompok yang memiliki kekuasaan akan lebih mudah untuk mempengaruhi perubahan dan membuat keputusan-keputusan penting dalam sebuah negara. Hal ini bisa dikarenakan mereka memiliki akses pada berbagai lembaga pemerintahan seperti parlemen, birokrasi hingga media massa sehingga mereka dapat mengekspresikan pandangan serta ideologinya agar dapat dipengaruhi oleh banyak orang
