Accuracy of Measles Immunization Records and Reporting in Maternal and Child Health Card and Cohort Book
ABSTRACT
Infectious diseases such as diseases that can be prevented by immunization remains a problem in Indonesia, one of which is measles. The government has sought to prevent through measles immunization in infants aged 9 months. Seeing the efforts that have been made through measles immunization program and still finding measles in the community, it is necessary to evaluate the success of programs related to the measles immunization. This study was conducted to determine the problems that occur in terms of recording and reporting of data related to measles immunization in particular measles immunization data quality. The population was 5 posyandu with the highest number of children under five in the region of new health centers Gunung Anyar city of Surabaya. The number of respondents is as much as 50 respondents with details of each neighborhood health center will take 10 respondents. The sample selection is done through a rapid survey method. The variables studied were the quality of immunization data on books maternal and child health card or other health records compared with immunization data on a cohort book. Other variables are the quality of data on infants in posyandu regiter book by book cohort. The results showed that the percentage of the suitability of the data of measles in the community with book five cohort remains low in the neighborhood health center. Meanwhile, the percentage of suitability daata on the register books with babies in posyandu cohort book is also fairly low. This suggests that the quality of data recorded measles immunization is relatively low.

Preventing and diagnosing software upgrade failures
Modern software systems are complex and comprise many interacting and dependent components. Frequent upgrades are required to fix bugs, patch security vulnerabilities, and add or remove features. Unfortunately, many upgrades either fail or produce undesired behavior resulting in service disruption, user dissatisfaction, and/or monetary loss. To make matters worse, when upgrades fail or misbehave, developers are given limited (and often unstructured) information to pinpoint and correct the problems. In this dissertation, we propose two systems to improve the management of software upgrades. Both systems rely on environment information and dynamic execution data collected from users who have previously upgraded the software. The first (called Mojave) is an upgrade recommendation system that informs a user who intends to upgrade the software about whether the upgrade is likely to succeed. Regardless of Mojave's recommendation, if the user decides to upgrade and it fails, our second system (called Sahara) comes into play. Sahara is a failed upgrade debugging system that identifies a small subset of routines that are likely to contain the root cause of the failure. We evaluate both systems using several real upgrade failures with widely used software. Our results demonstrate that our systems are very accurate in predicting upgrade failures and identifying the likely culprits for upgrade failures.Ph. Spot IT internal intranet website / Rekha Nair C.Gamgadharan Nair
When we look at the sheer volume of information stored by corporations today, including reams of printed information like computer documentation, procedures, specifications, and reference documents, we quickly see the argument for taking information online. Users no longer have time to wade through a shelf full of manuals to
find some obscure tidbit of information, and companies can no longer justify the cost of
printing all this information without any guarantee that users are actually reading it.
Then there is the problem of keeping all that printed information up-to-date.
Many companies are already using intranets to deliver information to internal users. The
term intranet refers to the fact that the Web (or other Internet applications) are being run
completely on the inside of a private network, often without a direct connection to the
Internet. There are a number of information resources and transactions that are potential
candidates for an intranet. Considering the rapid growth of intranets, a study was conducted on the impact
of intranets in Malaysian organizations. Since feedback is slow, this study was limited to
sending out questionnaires only. The analysis was not done as the author was given the
freedom to concentrate on the development of the system proposed (this will be
discussed later).
The author has taken the opportunity to introduce intranet and the recent issues
involving intranets in this first part of the thesis First of all, the author starts off with a
discussion on the questions that were posed in the questionnaire that were sent to
Malaysian organizations to get response on the impact intranet has on them. Following
which, the author continues to tackle subjects like definition of intranets, history of
intranets, i sues to consider when building an intranet, key intranet questions to be asked
before deciding to build an intranet, intranet myths, intranet reference model and finally
to the core of the research in hand, what materials on the internet have say about intranet benefits and challenges. These materials were very valuable in the process of designing
the questionnaire. At the same time, studies on the impact of intranets on foreign
organizations and also the use of intranet in the state of Sabah were also conducted and
the outcomes of these findings are also explained in the literature review section of this
thesis.
In addition to the research topic in hand, an internal web site within an intranet for a
mock organization, West Indies Oil Refiners, called SPOT I.T is also proposed to be
developed, the third and fourth chapter of this thesis will discuss in detail on the
proposed development of this web site. SPOT I. T is in tune to the intranet concept; it is
intended to serve I. T services to all employees of the organization. Even though it is I. T
department based, all employees from any department can equally benefit from the
content it has to offer. LT services has been chosen as the theme of this website due to
the fact, apart from human resource, information technology has always been the
concern of all in the organization, this is even more true with the implementation of
intranets. SPOT I.T will provide forms such as complaint and request forms for users to fill
in I. T based complaints and services, apart from this, they can also check what their
status of complaint/request is. They will also be able to find I. T agreements, project
details, information on personnel policies and benefits, lists of I. T related links and tools,
information on I. T training and seminars, frequently asked questions, I. T department
chart, interesting places to visit and also a calendar which lets users know what
interesting events are happening every day. SPOT I.T is developed using the evolutionary prototype model. A few existing
intranet websites were studied to get ideas on functional, non-functional requirements
and design concepts. The author had to research through materials to find suitable
development software for SPOT 1.T. The findings of these materials are presented in
chapter three, system analysis and requirement. In the fourth chapter, system design, the author discusses the design of the system. SPOT I.T architecture is divided into
administrator module and user module. The functional design of the system will be
presented using data flow diagrams and structure charts. Following this the design of
databases will be discussed through presentations of entity relationship diagram and
samples of table designs. The main source of research for the design of SPOT I. T was
the research findings in literature review. Certain examples of existing intranet related
sites were used as foundations to determine the requirements and design of the system.
In the fifth chapter, the author will discuss briefly on how the system requirements were
transformed to implementation. This discussion will be mainly on the coding and the
database connection. The hardware and software required for the implementation will
also be stated. The sixth chapter will include the stages of testing that was conducted to
ensure the system is not only error free but also meet the requirement. Finally, the
seventh chapter will conclude with the evaluation of the system. The system strengths
and weaknesses will be studied, at the same time future enhancements that can be made
to the system will also be analyzed. The author will also share knowledge, which was
gained, and the difficulties faced throughout the project.
The most important aim of this whole project is the intention to prove that
intranet based applications definitely can make a difference in an organization

Construct Delineation of Samatvam (Equanimity): A Pathway to Holistic Well-Being
Abstract
The Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Indian scripture and a spiritual guide to millions across diverse populations and cultures, addresses existential dilemmas that remain relevant across time and context. Its teachings extend beyond the spiritual domain, offering practical philosophical, psychological, and spiritual insights that promote well-being. The objective of this research was to explore Samatvam (equanimity) as a pathway to holistic well-being (HWB). Thematic analysis of the principle of Samatvam, as advocated in the Bhagavad Gita, was carried out to conceptualize holistic well-being through the lens of equanimity. The study illustrates key principles of Samatvam and how they foster HWB through its psychological, philosophical, and spiritual dimensions. Future empirical research is recommended to validate and operationalize these insights across diverse populations and cultural contexts.

Circadian disruption causes deficits in attention and response inhibition in adult Long-Evans rats
Circadian rhythms are endogenous rhythms governing behavior and physiology. Circadian disruption is an environmental factor that impacts cognition and increases the risk of neurodegenerative disease by altering the circadian clock at a molecular level. Conventional sources of circadian disruption in human populations include working beyond the regular hours of ‘9 to 5’ (shift work) and untimely exposure to light (light-at-night, LAN). Our study investigated the effects of 2 models of circadian disruption on response inhibition, which has previously been unaddressed, and attention using a 5-choice serial reaction time task (5-CSRTT). Adult Long-Evans rats of both sexes were maintained on a 12h:12h light:dark cycle and tested under 3 conditions: 4 h into the dark phase with no exposure to ambient light at the time of testing (control), 4 h into the dark phase with exposure to ambient light during testing (a model of LAN), and 4 h into the light phase (a model of shift work). Our hypothesis that rats tested under both models of circadian disruption would have reduced response inhibition and attention versus controls was confirmed. We also established that changes in expression occur in Per2 in light phase models of circadian disruption. Chat and Drd1 showed rhythmic expression with peak expression during the dark phase.
Because acetylcholine (ACh) governs circadian rhythms and attention, and DA modulates response inhibition, we performed drug challenges to examine for an interaction between the 2 neurotransmitter systems in our models. We combined an ACh agonist (nicotine) with antagonists for DA receptor 1 (SCH 23390) and DA receptor 2 (eticlopride) under the 3 circadian conditions to identify differential drug responses between treatment groups. The 2 circadian disruption models showed increased sensitivity to nicotine compared to control. SCH 23390 ameliorated the effect of nicotine in both models. This response to the combination of drugs confirms an interaction between cholinergic and dopaminergic neurotransmitters and identifies novel effects of circadian disruption on response to drugs. These results could potentially hold the key to better understanding altered cognitive functioning in real-world scenarios caused by conventional sources of circadian disruption.Submission published under a 24 month embargo labeled 'U of I Access', the embargo will last until 2020-08-01The student, Rekha Balachandran, accepted the attached license on 2018-07-02 at 13:14.The student, Rekha Balachandran, submitted this Dissertation for approval on 2018-07-02 at 13:15.This Dissertation was approved for publication on 2018-07-06 at 17:07.DSpace SAF Submission Ingestion Package generated from Vireo submission #12698 on 2018-09-27 at 11:16:15Made available in DSpace on 2018-09-27T16:30:15Z (GMT).
