No full textThe NASA LAND-SIPS VIIRS FILDA 375m/750m fire modified combustion efficiency product integrates the Day/Night Band (DNB), Medium-Wave InfraRed (MWIR), and long wavelength infrared (LWIR) channels to simultaneously improve the fire detection and retrievals of radiative power (FRP), fire visible energy fraction (VEF), and fire modified combustion efficiency (MCE) at nighttime from the holistic use of those multiple-spectral radiances measured by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard Suomi-NPP (VNP) and NOAA-20/JPSS-1 (VJ1) satellites.
FILDA algorithm generates the Level 2 active fire data products at 375m Imagery resolution and 750m Moderate resolution, respectively. Each data product includes the following key parameters describing the characteristics of a fire pixel: (a) its location in terms of latitude and longitude; (b) FRP; (c) VEF, (d) MCE. Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana bentuk disiplin di
pondok pesantren madrasatul Qur’an dan bagaimana strategi dalam pembentukan
budaya disiplin di pondok pesantren Madrasatul Qur’an. Penelitian ini
menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian yaitu
pimpinan pondok sebagai informan kunci dan Waka Kesiswaan serta stakeholder
sebagai informan tambahan. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah pembentukan budaya
disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Madrasatul Qur’an. Rumusan masalah dalam
penelitian ini adalah bagaimana bentuk disiplin di pondok pesantren madrasatul
Qur’an dan bagaimana strategi dalam pembentukan budaya disiplin di pondok
pesantren Madrasatul Qur’an. Data penelitian yang diperoleh melalui teknik
observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksa keabsahan data
penelitian ini adalah triangulasi. Analisis data digunakan dengan adanya
pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Jumlah informan yang terlibat didalam penelitian ini ada 8 orang yaitu Ketua
Yayasan, Pimpinan pondok, Bendahara Yayasan, Kepala Sekolah Madrasah
Aliyah, Kepala Sekolah SMP, Waka Kesiswaan, santri putri dan putra. Hasil
penelitian yang peneliti peroleh dalam pembentukan budaya disiplin di Pondok
Pesantren Madrasatul Qur’an yaitu. 1) pimpinan pondok dan organisasi intern
membentuk kedisiplinan yaitu dengan menyusun kegiatan secara sistematis dan
terarah, sehingga mudah dalam melakukan pengontrolan. 2) Strategi yang
digunakan dalam pembentukan budaya disiplin lebih efektif digunakan yaitu
melalui pendidikan akhlak, keteladan pimpinan pondok. Kemudian, intensitas
interaksi yang terus menerus yang dilakukan baik antar santri, dengan pengurus.
Adanya aturan dan sanksi santri yang digunakan untuk pembentukan budaya
disiplin santri.

Pada dasarnya pembelajaran matematika merupakan salah satu
pembelajaran yang tidak hanya melatih seseorang untuk pandai berhitung. Namun
dalam pembelajaran matematika juga mampu membentuk logika berfikir dengan
menggunakan akal dan nalar. Akan tetapi sifat dari matematika yaitu abstrak dan
tidak nyata karena tediri dari simbol-simbol. Maka, tidaak sedikit siswa yang
menganggap mata pelajaran matematika adalah mata pelajaran yang sulit. Dalam
penelitian ini peneliti mengembangkan sebuah bahan ajar berupa LKPD yang
berintegrasikan nilai-nilai ke-Islaman. Pengembangan LKPD Berintegrasikan
Nilai-Nilai Ke-Islaman ini merupakan salah satu bentuk pengaplikasian K13 sesuai
dengan kompetensi inti yang nomor satu yaitu sikap spiritual dimana menyatakan
bahwa peserta didik harus menghargai dan menghayati ajaran agama yang dianut.
Diharapkan dengan adanya bahan ajar yang berintegrasikan nilai-nilai ke-Islaman,
siswa akan mendapatkan pemahaman yang seimbang antara pengetahuan umum
dan pengetahuan ke-Islaman.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Untuk menyusun produk LKPD
Matematika Berintegrasikan Nilai-Nilai Ke-Islaman pada Materi Teorema
Pythagoras. (2) Untuk mengetahui kualitas LKPD Matematika Berintegrasikan
Nilai-Nilai Ke-Islaman pada Materi Teorema Pythagoras.
Hasil penelitian ini disesuaikan dengan rumusan masalah sebagai berikut:
1) Proses pengembangan LKPD Berintegrasikan Nilai-Nilai Ke-Islaman
menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu;
analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. LKPD divalidasi oleh
3 validator dan diuji cobakan kepada siswa kelas VIII SMPN 2 Ngantru. 2) kualitas
LKPD matematika berintegrasikan nilai-nilai keislaman dinilai berdasarkan
kriteriaa BSNP, yaitu kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan. Uji kevalidan
dilakukan oleh validator dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 96% termasuk valid. Uji
kepraktisan didasarkan hasil angket respon peserta didik dengan persen rata-rata
81,7%, yang termasuk praktis. Hasil angket respon guru terhadap LKPD
matematika berintegrasikan nilai-nilai ke-Islaman, didapatkan persen rata-rata
80%, termasuk praktis. Uji keefektifan didasarkan hasil ketuntasan siswa dengan
mengerjakan soal post test menunjukkan nilai presentase 83,3%. Dari hasil ketiga
aspek tersebut maka LKPD dinyatakan layak untuk dipergunakan

The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts
Get PDFWe conducted a full-scale evaluative citation analysis study of scholars in the XML research field to explore just how different from each other author rankings resulting from different citation counting methods actually are, and to demonstrate the capability of emerging data and tools on the Web in supporting more realistic citation counting methods. Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. It is argued that increasingly available digital full text research papers make it possible for citation analysis studies to go beyond what the ISI databases have directly supported and to employ more
