Trazos de las geografías críticas y ácratas: conversación con Federico Ferretti
Get PDFDesde las geografías críticas y anarquistas, en el encuentro entre la geografía y la historia, Federico Ferretti ha examinado las redes, trayectorias y el devenir del pensamiento y pedagogía geográfica en Europa y América Latina. Originario de Reggio Emilia, Italia, actualmente es profesor en la Universidad de Boloña en el departamento de Ciencias de la Educación y es secretario y tesorero de la Comisión de Historia de la Geografía de la Unión Geográfica Internacional. Fue profesor en la Universidad de Dublín, Irlanda, donde formó parte del equipo docente que organizó una nueva maestría en Geografía Crítica. Federico Ferretti ha producido una gran cantidad de libros, artículos y capítulos en varios idiomas que atraviesan diferentes líneas de investigación, como la historia y filosofía de la geografía en relación con perspectivas críticas, radicales y decoloniales (Ferretti, 2020, 2021b), o la historia de la cartografía (2014b), las genealogías de las geográficas críticas en Latinoamérica y la descolonización de la geografía (2019, 2022c). En sus investigaciones y durante sus estancias en Latinoamérica ha estudiado los vínculos entre las geografías ácratas de Elisée Reclus y las emergentes geografías críticas en la región, mostrando la trayectoria y transformación del pensamiento radical geográfico. En su trabajo, Federico Ferretti ha examinado documentos tanto en los archivos nacionales, por ejemplo, de la Biblioteca Británica, así como en archivos personales de diferentes figuras de la geografía y el movimiento anarquista. Es miembro del Consejo editorial de Investigaciones Geográficas, revista del Instituto de Geografía de la UNAM. En esta entrevista Federico Ferretti nos comparte aspectos de su trayectoria y de su incansable interés por comprender mejor las genealogías del pensamiento geográfico crítico y anarquista y los paisajes que de ellos emergen

Get PDFBarbara Ferretti discusses growing up in Anaconda, Montana, and the relationship between different nationalities in Anaconda as well as her memories of speaking Croatian in the home and the effect it had on her education. She describes how her mother supported herself and her children after the death of her father. Ferretti talks about her marriage, the birth of her children, and the use of midwives. She also recalls her experiences in Anaconda during the Great Depression and the Spanish influenza epidemic of 1918-1919. Ferretti describes her marriage as falling within the societal norms of the time, and she concludes the interview by describing the jobs she held after the death of her husband.

Mostra dei Disegni, Bozzetti, Plastici dello scenografo Dante Ferretti
No full textLa mostra espone alcuni dei disegni delle scenografie più rappresentative del lavoro svolto dal maestro Dante Ferretti. La Mostra tenutasi il 13 dicembre fino al 19 dicembre 2016 si snoda intorno ad alcuni bozzetti, scenografie e plastici in esposizione, esposti nel primo piano della Facoltà di Architettura Valle Giulia. Il Materiale come i disegni, i bozzetti, gli schizzi e oggetti di scena mostrano il lavoro creativo, progettuale e architettonico di un artista capace di adeguarsi ai progressi tecnologici e di passare dalla costruzione materiale delle scenografie a quella virtuale, nel corso della sua lunghissima carriera che lo ha visto collaborare con i più grandi registi internazionali curando le scenografie di oltre 50 film, 24 produzioni operistiche, e una dozzina di programmi televisivi, e realizzando progetti per musei, moda e festival. Parte del materiale qui esposto è il medesimo che è stato presentato alla Mostra tenutasi al al MoMa di New York nel 2013 dal titolo: "Dante Ferretti: Design and Costruction for the cinema
