Dispositivos móveis no ensino de educação financeira escolar: análise e aplicação de tarefas
Get PDFThe text presented here composes a set of qualitative investigations thatdiscuss the
use of Mobile Devices from the Mathematics classroom within acontext of Financial
Education. Within this discussion it is evidenced that thereare still doubts about the
positive contributions of the insertion of suchInformation and Communication
Technologies in the school space, to the pointof still being evident the existence of the
disparity between the frequency withwhich the technology is used by the students with
orientation of the teacher inactions related to their learning and those that use it for
other purposes. Thisperception culminated in the following question: in which ways can
the use ofmobile devices contribute to tasks involving a decision making on
financialmatters? And, deepening this question, it was verified how the personal móbile
devices were used by the students in a task of School Financial Education thattook
them to the decision making. From this, we analyzed the mediations oftechnology in
the production of meanings. In order to do this, it was directed tothe literature, on the
one hand, to search for results in which this research cantheoretically contribute, and,
on the other, in order to probe what one has ofbibliographic production on the exposed
topic. As a result, the concepts ofMobile Learning, Financial Education and Decision
Making are presented,which are extremely important to understand the exposed
theme. With suchresults in hand it was possible to construct the task and select the
applicationsthat were indicated for use by the students while performing the task,
althoughstudents were not expected to be limited to using the applications
indicatedduring this process. Following this work, the task was applied in a classroom
ofthe public school in a suburban neighborhood and the data collection was
donethrough participant observation, because the emphasis of the analysis will be
onthe process and not on the final results, as it proposes the Semantic FieldsModel,
the theoretical and methodological reference that guides both theconstruction of this
investigation and the analysis of the enunciation of theinvestigated ones. All the
practice cited will culminate in a manual that will helpthe teacher in the selection of
applications to be used in School FinancialEducation tasks, and may also assist in the

o uso dos Dispositivos Móveis a partir da sala de aula de Matemática dentro de um
contexto de Educação Financeira. Dentro desta discussão é evidenciado que ainda
há dúvidas quanto às contribuições positivas da inserção de tais Tecnologias da
Informação e Comunicação no espaço escolar, ao ponto de ainda ser evidente a
existência da disparidade entre a frequência com que a tecnologia é utilizada pelos
estudantes com orientação do professor em ações ligadas à sua aprendizagem e a
que utilizam ela para outros fins. Tal percepção culminou na seguinte questão:de que
maneiras o uso de dispositivos móveis pode contribuir em tarefas que envolvam
tomada de decisão sobre assuntos financeiros? E, aprofundando-se nesta indagação,
verificou-se como os dispositivos móveis pessoais foram utilizados pelos estudantes
numa tarefa de Educação Financeira Escolar que os levou à tomada de decisão. A
partir disto, analisou-se as mediações da tecnologia na produção de significados. Para
isto dirigiu-se à literatura para, por um lado, buscar resultados nos quais esta pesquisa
pode se aportar teoricamente, e, por outro, a fim de sondar o que se tem de produção
bibliográfica sobre a temática exposta. Decorrente disto são expostos os conceitos de
Aprendizagem Móvel, Educação Financeira e Tomada de Decisão, os quais são de
suma importância para compreender a temática exposta. Com tais resultados em
mãos foi possível construir a tarefa e selecionar os aplicativos que foram indicados
para uso dos alunos durante a realização dela, embora não se esperasse que os
estudantes ficassem limitados ao uso dos indicados durante este processo.
Prosseguindo este trabalho, a tarefa foi aplicada numa sala de aula da rede pública
de ensino num bairro de periferia e a coleta de dados foi feita via observação
participante, pois a ênfase da análise estará no processo e não nos resultados finais,
assim como propõe o Modelo dos Campos Semânticos, o referencial teórico e
metodológico que norteia tanto a construção desta investigação quanto a análise da
enunciação dos investigados. Todo o citado culminará num manual que auxiliará o
professor na seleção de aplicativos para utilizar em tarefas de Educação Financeira
Escolar, podendo também o auxiliar na construção da tarefa em si
Going Beyond Counting First Authors in Author Co-citation Analysis
Get PDFThe present study examines one of the fundamental aspects of author co-citation analysis (ACA) - the way co-citation
counts are defined. Co-citation counting provides the data on which all subsequent statistical analyses and mappings
are based, and we compare ACA results based on two different types of co-citation counting - the traditional type that
only counts the first one among a cited work's authors on the one hand and a non-traditional type that takes into
account the first 5 authors of a cited work on the other hand. Results indicate that the picture produced through this non-traditional author co-citation counting contains more coherent author groups and is therefore considerably clearer. However, this picture represents fewer specialties in the research field being studied than that produced through the traditional first-author co-citation counting when the same number of top-ranked authors is selected and analyzed. Reasons for these effects are discussed

Get PDF“Variations on the Author” discusses two of Eduardo Coutinho’s recent films (Um Dia na Vida, from 2010, and Últimas Conversas, posthumously released in 2015) and their contribution to the general question of documentary authorship. The director’s filmography is characterized by a consistent yet self-effacing form of authorial self-inscription: Coutinho often features as an interviewer that rather than express opinions propels discourses; an interviewer that is good at listening. This mode of self-inscription characterizes him as an author who is not expressive but who is nonetheless markedly present on the screen. In Um Dia na Vida, however, Coutinho is completely absent form the image, while Últimas Conversas, on the contrary, includes a confessional prologue that moves the director from the margins to the center of his films. This article examines the ways in which these works stand out in the filmography of a director who offers new insights into the notion of cinematic authorship
Appropriate Similarity Measures for Author Cocitation Analysis
Get PDFWe provide a number of new insights into the methodological discussion about author cocitation analysis. We first argue that the use of the Pearson correlation for measuring the similarity between authors’ cocitation profiles is not very satisfactory. We then discuss what kind of similarity measures may be used as an alternative to the Pearson correlation. We consider three similarity measures in particular. One is the well-known cosine. The other two similarity measures have not been used before in the bibliometric literature. Dispelling the Myths Behind First-author Citation Counts

Our results contest some common arguments for the continued
use of first-author citation counts in the evaluation of scholars, such as high correlations between author rankings by first-author citation counts and other citation
counting methods, and high costs of using more realistic citation counting methods that are not well-supported by the ISI databases. Note that the objective for the hut study was to evaluate the IRS treatment applications for residual efficacy against Anopheles mosquitoes, including the local An. coluzzii mosquito population. Cows were only used to attract mosquitoes into the huts and no tests were carried out directly on the cows. The author checklist is intended for use with studies where experiments are carried out on animals, which is why we have had such difficulty in completing this for the hut study, as many of the questions do not relate to how the cows were used

Get PDFO presente artigo compõe um quadro de discussões sobre as Tecnologias da Informação e Comunicação em um contexto de Educação Financeira Escolar (EFE), especificamente sobre o uso das tecnologias móveis, os smartphones ou celulares inteligentes. Para obter subsídios para a reflexão, utilizamos a metodologia de revisão bibliográfica com análises em dados de pesquisas que apontam que dispositivos tecnológicos são mais usados entre os jovens para fins pedagógicos. Como resultado, apontamos que já existe uma série de pesquisas indicando vantagens de se inserir as tecnologias nos processos de ensino e aprendizagem, porém ainda há poucas sobre a utilização das tecnologias em salas de aula em que se aborda a educação financeira escolar. Especificamente sobre celular, seu uso em práticas pedagógicas ainda gera desconfiança, tanto da escola quanto dos pais dos alunos
